1. They act like task forces. They will exemp you down to the max level of that particular chapter and, at the end, you have to call the contact one last time to get out of 'task force mode'. 2. They are entirely soloable, although a few chapters are challenging. I can solo some parts on an empathy defender, but some really need a scrapper/brute/etc.

The Signature Story Arcs are available on both red and blue sides. These ParagonWiki pages list them with the level requirement, start zone and contacts for each chapter. 'Who Will Die?' has 7 chapters and 'Pandora's Box' has 5 chapters. https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Who_Will_Die https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Pandora's_Box_(SSA)

Who knows what's optimal. I had a tank based on regeneration. He was invuln and I got his regeneration to around 340%. He was awesome.

For merits, I do the following: 1) The Weekly Strike Target TF. Since the double merit reward is once per week PER CHARACTER, I'll run it on multiple characters during the week. 2) Signature Story Arcs. A lot of these can be soloed in under 15 minutes and the 4x merit reward (20 merits) can be claimed once per week PER CHARACTER. P.S. The bonus rewards on the Signature Arcs are kind of weird. Every character can get a 'free' run of each chapter. So you can pick a character, do all 12 chapters on that character, and earn 240 merits in a single sitting. Then you can pick one chapter, run it again for 20 merits and that counts as your run for the week. Then THAT CHARACTER has to wait 7 days to get the full reward again. P.P.S. Some chapters are pretty hard. I can solo them all on my scrapper. Some are pretty easy and I can solo them on my empathy defender. P.P.P.S. If you're going to do the arcs, definitely run through them all once for the story and amazing unique maps. As far as merits are concerned, the final chapter in each arc is much longer and simply not worth it.

It's not you; it's fandom.com. I absolutely refuse to visit that site. It's just bad news.

When you think someone is playing their AT "wrong" ...

is there way prevent some clients from downlaoding?
Ironblade replied to Papaschtroumpf's topic in General Discussion
In that case, I LOL at your puny Steam directory. Mine is 210GB. Then I have Star Citizen at 48GB, Secret World Legends at 47GB, Black Desert Online at 34GB. A few other small games and I'm running out of space on one of my 500GB SSD's. -

I prefer the point of view from Dilbert, where Dogbert is prepping Ratbert to appear on a talk show. "Assume that everyone has read the same books you have and knows the same things you know. So, if they disagree with you, it can only be because they are stupid." 🙂 -
Also worth noting, the Wikia/Fandom site was serving up malware on two separate occasions from their ad servers. ParagonWiki has no ads.

You can have 300 characters in an SG who can access the same storage. All 300 can be your alts. The only storage that can not be shared is your 'Personal Vault Storage' for salvage. This is per character and no one else can access it.
-
No. You can have around 95 enhancements, more or less. More or less because someone might not slot Brawl, someone might take a prestige sprint to put a stealth IO in it, etc.
-
That would definitely be a useful upgrade to the system.

Every time I see this thread title, I think of it as a missed opportunity. I feel it should have been: Do You Even Coalition, Bro?
-
A minor issue, to be sure, since the actual game loads just fine. But this started for me last night and I wouldn't want to miss an embedded announcement at some point.

Well, you're certainly not going about it in a good way. From where I sit, the bulk of your comments seem indistinguishable from 'concern trolling'. You say you might be able to help but are, to the outside observer, doing nothing but expressing doubts, concerns and negativity. It has been pointed out that the people involved are maintaining their anonymity. At that point, a reasonable course would seem to be to take the conversation private if your interest is to offer assistance rather than express your doubts in a public venue.

I have seen conflicting reports, with some people claiming they have lost names due to the policy and other people saying it has not yet been implemented. The May 20 patch notes are not particularly clear about if/when the policy would be going into effect. Has the Name Release Policy, per the May 20 patch notes, gone into effect?

I did a task force yesterday with Teena Titan. Clearly, she's in cahoots with Titan Network.

Market Bug: Different Items are sharing sales history.
Ironblade replied to Adeon Hawkwood's topic in Bug Reports
hmm.... Item history spreading across items could explain the bug I came across. I had a bid of 650,000 in for a week, yet this item sold for 1,000 just today. That shouldn't be possible. -
You have 3 quotation marks in there. That may be messing things up. They should generally be in pairs and you don't actually need any for those commands.

The "solid profit" was a joke and 'chump change' in terms of their global business. Sure, it was making a profit, but so small that it wasn't an enticement to them. Are you familiar with the business concept of 'return on investment' or ROI? If they were putting $1 million a year (random number) into the game to get 5% profit and they could put that money into a game running in South Korea for a 10% profit, that is a complete no-brainer decision to dump the lower profit potential game. In such a situation, it is absolutely NOT in NCSoft's best interest to leave well enough alone.

Yes. Before we had Ouroboros, when someone got a mission like 'Rescue the Fortune Teller', they would announce it because the only way to get the badge was to run the mission from the contact, whether it was your mission or not.
-
So . . . the game is gone to the Nigerians?
-
Worth noting: in order to unlock certain Task Force contacts, you can use Ouroboros to run the specific arc that unlocks it. In your example, to unlock Ernesto Hess, you can do just Lars Hansen's arc via Ouroboros. Other Task Force / Trial contacts that need to be unlocked are: Karsis (Cavern of Transcendence) and Katie Hannon. I can't think of any others offhand.
-
Define "credit". It's likely that others will not even have the contact active, let alone that specific mission, so they will not get credit in that sense. If the mission awards a badge upon completion, yes, everyone will get the badge. The mission complete XP will also be given to all players, although I seem to recall it's prorated if you weren't there for the entire mission.
