  1. I like a bit of mission variety during a TF. Kill all clockwork 9 times in a row makes me zig. I also like the NPCs to chat a bit in speech bubbles about the mission. Its nice to know whats going on through npc chat instead of having to read through the mission text. I also prefer unique boss fights over punching a bag of HP for 5 minutes. I would like to see more powerful moves that have a long cast time and punishing effects that allow players to move from harms way or suffer the consequences. They dont have to be instant death abilities, but something that lets us engage in a battle more and not just a fight.

  3. I think its based off the perception of performance differences with and without domination. Initially, domination was impossible, and later on, extremely expensive to make perma. Now its within reach for those who wish to use it so the performance difference is more easily noticed. My guess is that domination was never meant to be made perma but it was affected by global recharge so that ship has sailed. And while i dont need perma domination to enjoy the character, i can see why there are those who feel its required. I wouldnt want to make it easier to achieve though.
  4. People already ask for the non travel pool powers to be opened up early based on travel pools 3rd power being readily available. As much as my mastermind would like to go straight to group fly, i dont want the can of worms opened further. I could almost guarantee that within 2 months someone would ask for all powers to be available when choosing pool powers.
  5. I dont think free instant 50 will ever happen. Instant 50 with some sort of cost may become a thing but i still think its a longshot. If the players really wanted instant 50 and free everything, they would all play on brainstorm. I think the fact that brainstorm can only manage to get 16 people online and only when a new page is about to drop speaks for itself. Most people want to earn their characters even if its not the entire 1-50 leveling experience. Having an instant 50 option available, even if players choose to not use it, dis incentivizes those who would choose to level up without it. There will be a point in nearly everyones leveling process that they will think something along the lines of 30+ sucks to level, i should have done instant 50. 1-20 sucks, i should have done instant 50. This mission is too hard, this mission is too long, this enemy group is annoying, nerf regen....insta 50. Also, you may be suprised how few people are asking to door sit in a farm even though they make up a good portion of messages in lfg. Get their global names and you will start to see the same names coming up constantly on different characters. Its not a bad thing or a good thing, just an observation. Altoholics will alt, and the easiest way to satisfy their altoholism is to door sit in a farm. Of course there are others that farm for themselves or level normally, im just trying to highlight that a good portion of the lfg messages are from much fewer players than all the different names would suggest.

  7. I will agree completely that AE farming, including to a greater degree fire farming, did get a nerf. But other areas of the game got buffed. They are striving for balance and that means there will be buffs and nerfs occurring throughout the game. If everything only got buffed then nothing would be balanced. Also a few longstanding bugs got fixed that resulted in a perceived nerf in AE. But i dont count bug fixes as nerfs. Alot of people cry nerf when a bug fix results in negative performance but are completely in agreement when the result is an increase. But it isnt either, a bug was never meant to be there in the first place, no matter how long it went unfixed.
  8. Well, since it got brought back up, further down in my post is mentioned that team forming and reforming for additional runs needs to be taken into consideration. How many hardmode runs did they do in 5 hours? Probably 1, maybe 2 while the AE farmer only stopped to pee. Of course results will be skewed with a sample size of 1.
  9. Its only sort of possible. By making alot of copies of the non unique characters then the spawn is less likely to accidently have 2 of the 'unique' characters. Using a boss objective with a character from a different enemy group would prevent accidental copies from the main enemy group but only works for bosses or higher, not minion and Lt.
  10. When the select amount pops up, hit a number on your keyboard. It places that number behind the 1. Pressing 2 would make it 12, press 9 to make 19. Obviously you cant post more than 10 so it defaults you to the max. Its the fastest way i know of to post full stacks.
  11. Best we can do is convert them to their value in inf and compare to what 8 farmers can do. Im guessing that 8 farmers still out earns a hardmode team even when converting the bonus rewards to their inf value. We would also need to swap to a different farmer every hour or so to simulate hardmode teams switching characters every run to get weekly rewards again or exclude weekly rewards from consideration. It would be difficult but beneficial to include the time taken to form a hardmode team and to find or reform a new team afterwards since hardmode isnt farmed nearly as much as AE. Basically as much detail as possible. I think in the end it would show that farming is still more lucrative than hardmode.
  12. I think comparing farming to hardmode might be fair. Just bring 8 fully geared and optimally built farmers to an AE farm. Have everyone go in seperate directions and farm as fast as they can. If you arent out earning that hardmode TF with a group similar to theirs then you probably arent farming hard enough. Comparing a hardmode team to 1 farmer or 1 farmer and 7 leechers of course will come up behind. If 8 people on any content cant outcompete 1 person then there is certainly a problem and at that point AE would definitely need to be nerfed.
  13. I never took rune of protection before it got reworked (many would say nerfed). I continue to not take it now. Even my MM with spirit ward and enflame to put on the henchmen didnt take rune of protection.

  15. The new voltron on netflix was pretty enjoyable, for me at least. Im down for extra costume parts also.
  16. So are all of these toggles? I assume the heal is a click. Are any of these auto abilities? The tier 9 appears to be granite but as metal. Alot of the powers have defense and resistance which is allowed but slotting gets wierd when you want to split between 2 categories. Overall im seeing what appears to be invulnerability but with granite for its tier 9 power and obviously everything renamed after metals. You seem to really want to contribute but your suggestions look like they were hastily made. Spending more time polishing a single suggestion instead of little time on many suggestions would help them be more well received. Remember you are trying to convince a dev that your idea is worth their time. If you just enjoy throwing something together and seeing what people think, maybe the archtype forum would be a more beneficial location to showcase some ideas.
  17. I quit taking my titan weapons scrapper to MSRs because i couldnt use my T9 power while flying and i dont bring my MM to teams because alot of people dont want group fly. The former i can solve myself but the latter requires my team to do it. Every one, on every team, every time. I would be in favor of group fly being controllable in some way from the users end.
  18. Id like to see control sets in general have some damage attached to them or some new control sets with damage. Dominators in particular are quite limited for where their ATO can be slotted so i say do the thing.
  19. Better to advocate for a second version than to change the current one. Leave mini as is and add 'small' or 'tiny' as a new one that keeps proportions intact.
  20. I dont see how this suggestion had anything to do with the mercs buff. But if taking credit for what players have been asking for years is what floats your boat, then you do you. As for the suggestion itself, AR is quite mediocre. I wouldnt mind it getting something to make it more interesting and add a bit of oomph.
  21. He isnt even in the retired developers group, he is in the normal members group. So its an error if he left or shenanigans if he didnt.
