  1. **I guess potential spoiler warning if you havent had time in the last few years to play the signature story arcs.** Please scale RulaWade to an AV. He is the capstone enemy of the Who Will Die story arc. He manages to wreck Statesman and Sister Psych, he rips a chunk of the planet off and heads into space, the remaining signature heroes and villains put aside their differences and team up against him and hes only an Elite Boss... an elite boss?!? Heck, we fought Ghost Widow earlier in the arc and she was an AV. Recluse and several others join you for the battle and its a major letdown for the final boss to live about 6 seconds. I get that he only recently acquired the power but they hype it up way too much for an EB. The only redemption for the arc is we got to toss a beatdown to manticore after the press conference (i cant stand that guy). Of course he should remain an EB for appropriately sized teams (we had 7), and should be an AV when the AV while solo is turned on. Please give this fight the improvement it deserves as the end of 7 story arcs.
  2. A couple arcs on weekly through ouro could help encourage a bit more teaming for story arcs. I also recommend 1 signature story arc each week. There are 12 of them and it can just go right down the line. It would take 3 months to cycle through the list.
  3. It already refills in defeated pets. But it does not refresh the duration of living ones. For the patron pool pets it can mean the power just fails and goes on cooldown if the pet is still alive. For crab spider it means defeated spiders are resummoned but living ones are not and they will soon expire since the duration is not refreshed. His ask is for the duration to get refreshed or the pet to be dismissed and resummoned.
  4. Indeed, we should pull them slightly before they kill us so they go home after we die. The hospital in the hive is close so its not a problem there. PI would be a trip to get back to the monster area. Monster Island might be an option since its just a clone of the PI area with a closer hospital. Characters of lower levels have an easy time getting killed in PI. There are really tough AE missions that will kill you in less than a second on max settings. Plenty of ways to die when we are trying.
  5. I cant completely solve your problem but its faster to solo que for eden trial and go to the hive to have the monsters there kill you when you are lvl 45+. Lower than that its probably fastest at the monster islands in the back of PI. Obviously bring a few awakens so they can kill you again at low hp instead of running from the hospital.
  6. yes, Options >Windows > Pets is exactly where it is. have the line "show pet window option" set to enabled and then open your team tab and click 'Pets' at the top of the window. My easiest advice if you still dont see the window after all of that is to load a different character and turn the pet window on and save the window settings at the bottom of the window options page and then go back to the first character and load window settings.
  7. Old knockback works basically as you said earlier with the target only being knocked away from the caster. Vectored knockback code lets the devs set the direction and distance of the knock for each ability separately. It can function the same as old KB and most knockback abilities have been unchanged at this point. Singularity uses vectored knock with each vector calculated from the target towards the caster to achieve the reverse repel. And as the singularity moves, the targets continue to move towards where it is and not where it was when the enemy first got sucked in. Vectored knock is also independent of magnitude. VK mag .74 knockdown will knock down a target as usual and VK mag 50 knockdown will still knock down the target and not knock it away. So knockdown will stay knockdown regardless of magnitude. Knockback, knockup, knock towards all can function without the .75 threshold changing the KB<>KD. Most abilities havent been switched over to the new system yet but it will allow for new interactions such as an enemy that resists KD below a certain magnitude and is more likely to be knocked down as the magnitude increases but never gets knocked back.
  8. It is this The short version is that knock can be forwards or backwards or up or anywhere in between. Singularity uses it for the vacuum effect, something that was impossible under the original knockback code.
  9. I want to say that certain things are baked into the code and the game really doesnt want to change them. Ive heard origin cant be changed after character creation for example. Even adding an extra enhancement slot made the game go bonkers, ive been told. AE door sitters arent a good thing or a bad thing, they are just a thing. I dont mind the idea of recycling a character but my guess is that it cant be done from ingame. Id be more inclined to go for something like delete a 50 and get a lvl 28 character creation token. But even then, xp is so fast when we want it to be that its hardly necessary.
  10. Would be nice if you toggle sprint that the henchmen would as well. I can understand having henchmen inherit the MMs movement could be problematic or possibly overpowered but henchmen sprinting when their boss does seems perfectly reasonable.

  14. Maybe people arent making space. That room gives alot of ambrosia. Usually the blaster ends up with 10+ and the supports have 0 or 1 and we pass them around.
  15. The PI police station seems to move the cameras anchor point sometimes. It clips the camera into the floor and you can see under the map. Zoning, relogging, and changing characters doesnt fix it. You have to exit to the desktop and relaunch the game.
  16. It generally goes get to 50 and slot with purples and pvp sets that keep bonuses when u exemplar. Then you exemplar and steam roll the lower level content. Then you come to the forums and say the game is too easy. Then the devs make hard mode. Then you cant steam roll hard mode. Then you come to the forums and say to make the game easier. And you is the everyone in general you. Not the you specifically you. Also, this post is in jest....or is it?
  17. At least i know that 43% of cyber crime targets small businesses now. It sucks that it was necessary but im also relieved to know its not because something was suspicious on my end.
  18. My understanding is that null is a psuedo-GM and uses higher level slash commands than players have access to in order to grant and revoke those hidden temp powers. Continually adding to nulls capabilities could introduce bugs. You might be suprised at how much you can do with a single vulnerability. My nintendo wii, that doesnt play DvDs because nintendo said it would drive the cost of the console up too much, plays DvDs. There were no hardware modifications, just a software modification made through a small vulnerability in the console's email system. Basically im trying to say we should consider carefully when we want changes to null. If an exploit were found to have null run a command from a player and they boot everyone from the server or grant themselves all the purples or hero 1's powers or something. Well, maybe not boot all, i think that one is a really high level command, possibly dev only.
  19. So if 1 person dies and cant rez and nobody else will rez them? Maybe individuals could have the option, but they already do by not clicking hospital. Team leader enforced.....nope, never.
  20. I agree it could be more player friendly. Perhaps we could convince the devs to add a warning to the attack.
  21. Its been a minute since i did a master run but it took 2 tries that time. The first time our corruptor got foot stomped and since it didnt matter anymore, our scrapper died later to a foot stomp. Second run our ranged characters stayed at range and the scrapper moved away for foot stomp and came in for damage between stomps. I dont mind battles that can use some tactics instead of a faceroll. Its not master of button mashing.
  22. Praetoria is a tough one since the zones we visit are in the past and the present is all exploded with hamidon running amok. I think the magisterium trial needs to be reworked to have either a different ending that doesnt explode the city or explode a different location so the city remains intact. Then the city could be opened up to non praetorians for missions since we wouldnt be in a wierd state where its the past and present at the same time. Praetorian hamidon should have an i-trial off in the forest somewhere where you see his tentacle swinging around and have all those avatars and seeds back him up. Then we need praetorian police/military and resistance epic archtypes. There are alot of abilities to get started with but a few more would probably be needed to fully flesh and round out a primary and secondary.

  24. Of course drivable vehicles would include pursuit and escape missions with vehicle mounted weapons and vehicle hp. After they rob the bank you have to chase their escape vehicle and then defeat the villain.
  25. Super vehicles. The people need to arrive in style. All we have right now is the invisible jet, and we cant find where it was parked.
