  1. Praetoria does it but there is still loading transitions and its just a low res view of the rest of the city. But if that could happen for paragon city, it would be amazing. I think the game code still needs zones to break up the population for lag reducing purposes though. The internet is newer now, maybe thats not a problem anymore but the popular zones with a population cap of 50 makes me think it still is.
  2. Ive taken cold domination on characters before but i had always skipped frostwork. Im on a new character with cold domination now and decided i could use a single target heal/hp boost power so i picked it. Except its not a heal, but sometimes it can behave like one. The power is working as described, i just didnt read and expected it to behave differently. Here is its full details on a defender https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=defender_buff.cold_domination.frostwork&at=defender Basically the power increases your targets max hit points by about 500. The power doesnt heal those increased hit points but instead keeps the target at the same % of hp. So someone at 100% hp will stay there when buffed and get those hit points filled. So someone with a 1000 max hp at 100% will end up still at 100% when buffed 1000+500 = 1500 (500 HPs filled). But someone at 50% hp will still be at 50% hp after being buffed so that same 500 will only refill 250 of the HP while leaving the other 250 empty to preserve the current hp percentage. I read the power wrong and it doesnt perform exactly as i expected and its 'healing' performance drops as the targets hp% falls. I play like its supposed to be reactive but it 'fills' more hp when used while your target has 100%. Cold domination doesnt need a buff so i wouldnt want the power changed to heal those increased hp unless it were a bug. How do u guys use the power? Do you consider it skippable? Ive skipped it in the past and the variable performance makes the power feel kinda bad to me.
  3. AE fills the power leveling very adequately and ouro can be used to repeat almost every mission. 2x xp already gives a ton of xp at the cost of influence. Im confused as to what gap this fills. Despite how AE farming got nerfed trough changes to the mob xp formula, fire melee, and the bug fix from 2x giving 3x in AE, the team isnt actually against farming. They arent even against the fact that farming outperforms other content for rewards. It was just so much better at earning rewards that they wanted to narrow the divide some. The team has also been made aware of several missions that used to be farming missions and had timers added to them by the OG devs for the sole purpose of preventing farming in them. They said they would look into removing the timers so players could farm those missions again but they wanted to test to make sure it wouldnt be extremely over performing compared to current farms. While it isnt exactly what you are asking for, if those timers get removed, it would be fairly close.
  4. The tiny duration is its biggest drawback for me now. Ye olde Moment of Glory was amazing. I get that it was overpowered, but it got nerfed hard. Having the duration increased a bit would help alot. 12 usable seconds is certainly a moment but its likely no glory is occurring in that time.
  5. I like their night costumes. I wish there was a way to make the instanced MSR stay night the whole time, and some glow in the dark costume costume parts for players.
  6. You can hope for the upgrades to apply automatically but the devs said thats not gonna happen. And that has been further cemented by moving the defense and resists into the upgrade powers and making them enhanceable. There has to be some sort of detriment to your henchmen getting killed or MMs would become invincible.
  7. Im not at my computer to look at my setup but i have my powers in order so the T2 attack is the only power used without momentum. The T2 is fairly quick animating without momentum and the rest of my powers are in order to fit within the momentum window. So i press 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 for my AoE rotation and 1, 2, 3, alt4, alt5 for my single target rotation. The 5th attack barely fits within the momentum window and if it isnt 5th then you cant fit them all since its a bit longer animating. Momentum is still a bit janky to work with but also has certain advantages that you can benefit from. I dont need my recharge to be quite as high since animation times limit how many attacks fit within the window and i dont want to end momentum on the wrong attack to get a really long animation next. My biggest gripe is that arc of destruction cant be used while flying close to the ground. My method of travel is fly and i cant use my T9 attack. Foot stomp also doesnt work while flying but if you are flying near the ground it works. The difference i see is the floating text for foot stomp says 'Target is in the air' and for arc of destruction it says 'Must be on the ground'.

  11. Im the first reply on 2 of your suggestions and im about to disagree. I promise im not out to get you. Badges are the incentive for badging. Accolade powers are further incentive, especially the endurance and HP boosting ones. Sure there is room for new accolade powers in the future if they make sense but adding badging rewards just for the sake of badging seems redundant.
  12. Costume requirements were removed so players could get the look for their concept without having to grind levels or vanguard merits or whatever other currency was required for costume parts. It doesnt make sense for HeroMcHeroFace to not have his costume until he reaches full power. 'Hang on bad guys, i just leveled up. I'll be right back with the rest of my costume and then ill really lay down some justice.'

A team member gave a pretty good reason why AE missions probably wouldnt become official content, the author would have to give up their rights to what they made and accept any changes and not be able to take it down if desired, among a few other reasons. But for everyone that has made a few missions in AE would notice, radio missions are one of the more basic things you can make. The mission variety could really be increased by cranking out a bunch of them, especially for unrepresented enemy groups. The team could source it to the players even if its unlikely as i mentioned above. But if they did ask for radio mission submissions that followed the format of current ones and said all submissions belong to homecoming and may be altered or not used, then authors wouldnt be blindsided with their previous material getting jacked and altered without permission. Still a longshot but its possible. But in the end im not sure how big a priority more radio missions are. Alot of people just take them against council and reselect if council isnt on the list. Then they abandon the bank mission and select council again. Why make more radio missions if the players are just going to skip them. I know not everyone does that, but it probably helps in convincing a dev to make more content if people arent going to skip it.
  14. Im not sure about arachnos, but i got to keep my military uniforms after i was discharged. And those who served in 2 different branches get to keep both sets. True that you dont wear your old uniforms while serving in a different branch, but you have them and could technically 'cross dress' even if it would get you in trouble. I guess sometimes people are more options are always good, until its something they dont want and all a sudden more options are a bad thing. Potential technical limitations aside, if its possible to mix then i dont see an issue with it. Maybe a widow went rogue and killed a bane and stole his pants. Or a crab lost a bet and has to wear a fortunata helm for a week. I dont see someone elses creativity forcing anyone else to make a mixed costume.
  15. I dont think they are manually placing decorations. Turning on the halloween event should swap over to the decorated buildings. Wanting more decoration is fine, but i think its the same amount as previous years. I could be wrong though. If they have to swap out building IDs or something else that is manual, then its possible that some were missed.
  16. My guideline is if he has called lightning down twice then its probably been long enough. Only once and you run a higher risk of the bug.
  17. Im down for more content but it would be a small desert if it was a single zone. It would probably need to be like zoning across praetoria with the desert spanning 3 zones. Then there could be a desert between the the major landmarks instead of a sandbox.
  18. History is great but there is also the future. Because something was doesnt always mean it must be forever. Im not saying throw the lore aside and do whatever but if CoH never added to the lore then kheldians wouldnt have ever existed either. I like the gray idea but would prefer it to be a bit more involved then just black/white or white/black. It would probably mean branching paths like arachnos and i see that you want to keep it more easily implemented but im thinking if the time is to be spent, then the extra to make it top notch would be worth it.
  19. The shield is attached to the arm and already goes where the arm goes, alot of left handed stuff would look just fine. Animation changes based on costume pieces would be way out of the scope of the benefit provided by shields as a costume part. It would have some clipping but there are plenty of costumes that clip. Shield defense already has some clipping with itself. The team would have to determine if its acceptable or if certain powersets arent compatible with shields. We can test some of the animations already with a shield. Grab some temp powers with a shield defense character and fire away. The game doesnt mind that your arm has a shield on it at all. Its also possible to do the 'forbidden for shield user' emotes with a shield. Just do a usable emote first and without moving do a forbidden one. Yes they clip but none of it bothered me. If i can stand with 50% of my character inside a wall, i dont care if my shield clips my body for 4 frames of an animation.
  20. I feel like DFB was only added so people could actually see the hydra head since sewer trial was hardly ran back in the day. My guess also is that more hard modes are a good possibility since they already hit up an existing TF. I wouldnt ever participate on a synapse hard mode though unless it was split into 2 or shortened. I dont have 7 hours for a hard mode synapse in its current form.
  21. If the extra toggle made it a no and just use an extra costume slot was a yes, then i would go for the change costumes option. Just in my non programmer head im thinking 'just clone a shield defense toggle, strip all buffs, change the end cost to zero and rename it'. Thats probably not how it works but its where im coming from when i hope for a toggle.
  22. With current shield defense, the shield will disappear if you turn off all shield toggles, and there are times when that is appropriate. As a costume piece i wanted to keep that functionality instead of 'always on'. So basically just a on/off button for non shield defense users to have with their shield. I tend to leave my shield toggles on while out of combat because it still looks good.
  23. Add shields as a costume part for everyone, not just shield defense. I have alot of characters and concepts that would love to have a shield but not shield defense. Many of them arent even melee characters and could never have a shield currently. My other reason for the request is there is only so much shield defense before its time to play a different set. Pretty much all melee weapon sets look great with a shield but that is alot of shield defense just to complete the costume. It would be great to get the look without being locked into shield defense every time. Obviously the shield only appears when a shield defense ability is used so other sets would need a way to turn it on and off. A zero endurance toggle with no stats for 'shield on' would be adequate.
  24. Speaking of shadow shard TFs, a potential future topic could be about the under utilization of the shadow shard zones. The contact missions just kinda end and leave you hanging with the TFs left to inadequately fill the gap.
  25. Infinitum is over here buffing nerfs. Clearly we have found the one who would fix regen.
