  1. I would say that x2 should be expensive as well but its probably waaay too late for that. I get that the transact4victory stuff is mostly inexpensive and was made available so that the whole game was free to play, but my opinion is that the amplifiers and 2x should always be the cost of a lvl 50 amplifier. It would make using 2x a decision instead of being nearly automatic. 5x im thinking would be almost pointless. People can farm up a lvl 50 in under 2 hours, 5x would let them do it in under 40 minutes. Im sure there are several people that could do it even faster. At that point it may as well be purchase xp with inf. 10 inf = 1xp, 100? 1000? I dunno. I would prefer an inf sink for something other than earning xp faster but thats difficult when there is nothing else players want in large quantities.
  2. In a instanced version, they have to be invited to the league to get in the instance. They could still grief at that point but kicking them from the league will also remove them from the instance. Not inviting a known griefer would prevent them from doing anything to an instanced run while anyone could come to a hami raid if the zone isnt full.
  3. Its dependent on your team doing enough damage to every bud to get xp in the first place. The same thing happens to me. So i cant say that we missed a bud with this method but i can say when we got them all. I think its the system channel that reports 'so and so has defeated hamidon bud'. Using that may be more reliable but i havent checked since i have those messages mixed in another tab.
  4. Yes many sets have a +to hit that gaussians could go in but they are click or toggle so its not auto firing for free. And im not saying you have to change anything, im just taking a look from a different gameplay prospective and offering my take on it. I have several characters that take tactics or the epic power pool toggle to put guassians in at a cost of .78 end/sec. Its a similar story with my super reflexes characters that could get a resist power without taking boxing. Thats why i said its very passive. Like i said, there is also potential here for it to be the technology origin pool. That would allow it to be slightly stronger than a regular pool but probably would need a bit more variation. Overall i like the concept though.
  5. Same for me, i cant usually commit the time in 1 session. The character is able, but the operator is out of time.
  6. If a dev feels so inclined to add a no patrol xp option then i dont see why there is a problem. I imagine it would be easiest to do as a temp power through p2w and revoking it to restore patrol xp.
  7. What would be considered bad load times now? Back in the retail run, some of the worst load times i saw were around a minute. Mine were in the 20-30 second range i think. At this point, a potato with some wires sticking out should get reasonable loading times. I wouldnt mind some of the tedium being trimmed from the long task forces to put them into the 45-60 minute clear time range. Often i cant guarantee that i have 2 hours, so i dont join Dr. Q or Synapse and the few others that are very long.
  8. It seems very passive. The fitness pool was full of passives and it was moved to innate fitness because it felt required. I could get the gaussians proc in that passive to-hit and all the resist set and defense set IOs muled into the other 2 passives. Neatly packed into a single pool with no endurance expenditure like those from leadership or fighting toggles. I do like the feel of the idea, but i think it needs to lean into a bit more endurance usage. It could be a good candidate for the technology origin pool powers as i think right now only magic, science, and mutation are represented. And i mean that in the way that you are locked out of the other origin pools after choosing a power from one. Being the technology origin pool could allow it to have a bit more oomph over a normal pool power set.
  9. I think the change is mainly aimed at power leveling a farmer to vet lvl 50 and then converting all the merits before deleting it and starting over. If thats not how you play then the increased rewards from other activities should keep the gaps filled. Just send extra emps to your new alts for quick crafting of incarnate abilities. You will probably end up with more emps than you need but if we arent farming for emps anymore, it shouldnt be too much over what we use.
  10. Legend has it that a Hamidon once invaded pocket D. Its defeat rewarded each player in the zone a level appropriate hami-o. Supposedly there was a lvl 6 hami-o in the game for some time after.
  11. Being the minority in a group of 3 isnt much. But you are right, whenever the devs drop a fix for something, a short time later there will be someone saying that it was great but they need a little more.
  12. Select your henchmen and attacks seperate, i like it. Picking the henchmen would give the 6 powers and the 3 attacks are chosen as a mini set within a set.
  13. Appreciate it. I feel caught up. Who knew so much could fit in so few words.
  14. I havent read any of this. Any chance someone could sum up the last 43 pages in a sentence or 2? 🤪
  15. The earth controller conspired with a mind controller to erase your memory.
  16. It may be helpful for someone to know that there is a maximum 16 buds spawning after killing hami - 1 bud per player up to 16. I have a chat tab that shows only xp gains and i count out how many times i get xp while we are clearing buds. It should work with the chat channel for so-and-so has defeated hamidon bud but i dont have that on its own tab. And once i count 16 xp gains, i let the leader know that all the buds are dead. A bud counter would be alot easier but its nice, at least, to know that a slow spawning hamidon isnt because of a missed bud.
  17. It can be done but its not quick.
  18. i sent you a message with the needed file from Bernard The Beast's Mod. It isnt silent though, just toned down. ill shoot you another with a silent one and you can pick what you want
  19. Appreciate it. It sucks trying to search with my phone. I actually dont have a demon MM so ill have to roll one soon and give one of those mods a try. Several people dont like their noise but im sure several do and most probably dont care so i wouldnt expect an official change any time soon.
  20. I'll advocate for a bio armor tank. I use bio/dark melee as my most played character. Give it a top of the line build and turn on offensive adaptation for extra damage on top of a tanks increased AoE size. You can even proc out DNA siphon into a decent AoE along side shadow maul, dark consumption and soul drain. You could also save some money on the build and run with efficient or defensive adaptation instead of building out the extra survivability to run offensive. Overall though, PI radios arent the most difficult thing in the game and nearly any power combination will work if you are willing to spend to build it out. I dont think PI radios will rise in popularity above what they are now either. The AE nerf was quickly reverted on the beta, some farms will need their enemies adjusted to once again give full xp but thats about it.
  21. I could have sworn there was a .ogg for silence floating around the forum already. I dont have it since i dont use sound mods. I did find this toned down sounds mod though and the people were happy with the demon MM sounds being reduced.
  22. With an alternate skin of clowns....oh the horror !!
  23. Put Manticore in charge of the TF against council since he has a thing against them. Put Penelope as the clockwork task force because the clockwork king and Penelope have a dialogue going. Put Synapse on the Crey TF because he was experimented on by them and would like to dismantle the organization. That leaves Citadel with sending you to stop Clamor from blowing up the power plant. It seems like a very Citadel thing for him to do. Except give him back his original name, thats a very Bastion thing of him to do.
  24. 1. Lawnmower 2. Abuse the Force 3. Misfortune-ata 4. Lightning Rod 5. Reef Smasher 6. For the Horde ! 7. Black and Blue Ink Men 8. It was the One Armed Man 9. Counting Crey 10. History is History
  25. And then the people that are working for free would wonder why they work for free when that other guy is getting paid. And someone getting paid means someone is profiting from the game. We dont need to wake up the sleeping dog that is NC by having them miss out on more money. But even if NC doesnt care, how much would this 3rd party get paid before people on the team get irritated that it isnt them? Paying a few but not all is a recipe for disaster. It doesnt bring in nearly enough money to pay the entire team so it has to stay volunteer with capped donations to stay fair for the whole team.
