I havent actually read any of this. I just check in once in awhile to see how many thumbs down poor MoonSheep has gotten after having his post moved and made to look like it started this topic.

I think Null needs a nice place to make his perch. Im thinking somewhere on the long wavelength end of the visible light spectrum but with short wavelength visible light nearby. His perch should be symbolic of the services he delivers.....a delivery truck should do nicely. It may get too quiet at times though so he should be located near a source of music. And finally, his power is too great to be confined to a single dimension, only the space between dimensions is suitable for such a being. Im thinking that he should be moved on top of a delivery truck on the redside of pocket d. Only a location such as this can fulfill all the criteria.

Its not exactly what you want but target them and hit 'F' will activate follow mode to get him pointed in the right direction. -
I guess if level up token PvE characters could only go into lvl 50 zones and lvl 50 TFs then it could be comparable to the instant 50 PvP characters. Im all in favor of instant 50 tokens that cost two billion and one inf.

Let Ms. Liberty train and place BAB as the contact for Statesman task force like it was first intended. Back Alley Brawler once again offered to take over and this time was accepted for the position." *pulled from the paragon wiki archive* With Issue 23 and the aftermath of Statesman's and Sister Psyche's deaths, the Statesman Task Force was to be taken over by Back Alley Brawler, with a little rework done to update the story to reflect Statesman's death. However, due to popular request on the Official Forums and elsewhere, Ms. Liberty was decided to take over, which meant it would instead be renamed after her. -
It took me forever to find that henchmen could stay in bodyguard mode when being commanded to attack my target. The default puts them into aggressive mode while making them attack. It really helped my survivability and damage when i stumbled onto that after nearly 2 years. Ive also gotten alot of use from the goto command with my robots since they like to stand wherever when they are shooting and ignore the fact that they have cone and melee attacks. As for the suggestion, I wouldnt mind some of the enemy groups being henchmen but it may fit better as alternate skins on existing sets instead of totally new sets. Like necromancy could have ghouls as an alternate skin and Thugs with hellions or skulls. Demons would have Circle of Thorns baddies, robots have a ton of options for alternate skins, mercs have malta or D.U.S.T. or many of the other 'normal' PPD types. Not that every MM set needs alternate skins but those are some possibilities. And i think it would be an all or none for the skins, a mix and match situation probably isnt appropriate when using ingame enemy groups.

As an update to this, I was able to get dual blades to disappear on a brute, tanker, stalker and scrapper after creating them on brainstorm. However, i did have 1 scrapper that wasnt affected and had to make a second to get his weapons to disappear. The unaffected scrapper was DB/energy aura with a Black knight sword and fire sword. I switched him to scimitars, that I confirmed to disappear on the second scrapper, and they still did not disappear. I gave the second scrapper (that was affected) with DB/electric armor the same swords as the first and they did disappear. I checked Power Surge from electric armor and the weapons were not visible for its duration although they did appear normally on the character after the power expired. I dont have an electric armor character with weapons on the live server to check if this is the current behavior though. Using Granite armor on a brute had the character wield the weapons normally but they did not appear while sheathed. I imagine that this is the proper behavior though since granite armor is replacing the character model and probably doesnt have costume options. Also, my apologies Cobalt. I was originally trying to break temporal warriors to give Faultline more work and i stumbled onto this and gave u more work instead. 😛 -
City of Heroes had legal troubles back during the retail run. CoH won the suit but im sure the team here would prefer to avoid such issues. An example would be Thor from mythology with red braided hair and Thor from the comic books with blond hair and all the other comic book features. While it wouldnt be a violation to make Thor from mythology, making Thor from the comics is so they blocked the name anyways just to be safe. I have a character named Copyright Infringement Man (condensed to fit in 20 characters) that has a single costume piece that would be attributed to Iron Man, Captain America, Wonder Woman, Batman, Aquaman, Superman, Star Wars and a few others all mashed into 1 costume. But since no such character actually exists, its not a violation. I would encourage others to not purposefully make a character that could cause problems for the homecoming team.

I want to say this happens on my broadsword tanker because as i was reading i wasnt thinking 'nope never'. But i havent played him for awhile so i dont remember a specific incident.

Ill fiddle with it some more tonight with different primaries and secondaries. Last night i was just doing that before heading to bed and wound up spending 20 minutes as a gull. -

I use sprint only to get through alot of chain link fences. Just stand right on the fence and double tap forward. Your extra speed might be what lets you through without the extra steps. -
Those previous were its internal name and its internal full name. The display name and display full name are Critical Strikes: Recharge/+50% Critical Hit Chance Proc (Scrapper) Boosts.Attuned Critical Strikes F.Rech/+50% Critical Hit Chance Proc (Scrapper) Im not able to hop ingame right now to check if either work though. They both have the special characters where the internal name does not.

I went to get the gullible badge on my temporal warrior brute that uses titan weapons. After returning to normal, my sheathed weapon had disappeared. Drawing the weapon left my character in the ready stance with no weapon. Returning to the sheathed stance had no weapon on my back. Changing costumes or zones fixed the problem. A second attempt had the same result and a 3rd try with a non-sheathed weapon had the same invisible result in the ready stance. I tried on a regular scrapper on the live server and the weapon never disappeared whether it was sheathed or not (im very gullible at this point). Then I copied the scrapper to brainstorm and the weapon also did not disappear whether it was sheathed or not. I tried different self transforming costumes and didnt have any problems but i didnt have time to check other powersets with abilities that change the character model.

I would love an aura on my sheathed weapon. Just with already existing auras on a weapon we could have flaming or frost weapons, spirit blades, dripping 'blood', electricity blades. An enchanted weapon that animates an empty suit of armor.... ...i also need some armor pieces that are hollow please =D

I would not want to see an account wide activity update from a single login. That would defeat half the purpose of this system - to free up names from those who made a bunch of lvl 1s and sat on them for months. The other half being to free up names from those that havent been used in over a year and arent lvl 50. Use them or (possibly) lose them.

Make a character on the test server and at least half of the questions would have been answered. There was a trainer in RV (Castle) and there is one in PD. You have to level up to 50 with the trainer. You get the free respecs when you train each 10 levels, same as a regular character. I ran out of time but i think the transit in RV goes to the other pvp zones since it had a marker on the minimap. There was already transit from RV to PD from before this addition.

I like this idea. Now we just need to convince players to hit these zones at the same time. Perhaps bonus rewards for an hour that rotate through each zone to get people into the same zone at the same time. But 24 hours is divisible by 4 so it would be the same zone at the same times each day. Throw in the arena as bonus for an hour as well in the rotation and it will ensure that each zone will eventually be on bonus during someones regular playtime.

Vet XP has been restored, this is excellent news for most of the people in the previous 20 pages of comments. Now we can give a go at testing the rest of the AE changes. -
The farmers wanted their vet XP back in AE because they didnt want to farm outside. They got it back but had emps to reward merits taken away from everyone instead. I am happy with this change. I dont think ive ever converted an emp to a reward merit. Emp merits should be used for incarnate abilities, not for farming in AE to convert into reward merits.

See what level I selected character powers?

If you exemp down and see whats grayed out and then exemp 2 levels higher each time and note what becomes available. Your enhancement screen will show your primary and secondary powers in the order that you picked them but that doesnt mean you will know the specific level. It just shows your power picks in order for that set, not how they related to each other between the primary and secondary. I usually just respec at 50 to get some powers in an order i like so im not totally gimped when i exemp.
