I didnt mean that other areas have to be rebuilt first before they could fix galaxy city. They city can run as many construction projects as it wants in any order it chooses. Im saying its still full of shivans. You dont leave the tutorial because you won and there is nothing left to do. You are evacuated because the area is lost. The giant shivan was pushed back into the pit at half health, not defeated. We never reclaim galaxy city from the shivans during gameplay after that either. Im good with contacts being restored in echo galaxy city though. The mobs are still there so i dont see why a few contacts telling you what ones to kill and where would be game breaking. And ruined galaxy city should have something to do with actually clearing out the shivans before its rebuilt in any way.

its still full of shivans. from a game progress standpoint, the construction in boomtown should move forward before they rebuild another city.

if the character is capable, try and do it with no pets. might be able to narrow the problem down a bit for a character that was confirmed to not earn it

Certain zones are prone to becoming full during specific times of the day. Specifically the Hive during a Hamidon raid and Rikti War Zone during a Mothership Raid. Once a zone is full, you are given a popup showing that it is full with an option of entering a second instance of the zone.... or 3rd or 4th or however many your server has managed to fill plus 1. But when you are trying to join a raid you don't want to enter those other instances, you want to enter the one that your raid is in. So you stay at the entrance and move back and forth to keep getting a refreshed popup while you wait for a space to open up in the hive or keep clicking the portal to check the rikti war zone. This works great if you are the only person but sometimes you are the only person for 10-15 minutes and then several people start to show up. The first person to attempt to zone in when a space opens is the person that is allowed in. Often the person that was waiting the longest doesn't make it in when only a space or 2 open up. I suggest adding a 'Enter Queue' button for zones that are full. When a space opens in the selected zone, the player with the longest queue time gets a popup that allows them to enter the zone without having the space taken by someone lucky enough to have just shown up at just the right moment. If the player ignores or declines, the now new highest que time gets the popup with an offer to join the zone. This shouldnt be an afk space saver though and there could be more players waiting so I'm thinking the popup should only last 10-15 seconds. Full zones should still discourage players from being afk and the full zone queue should reflect that as well. This could also help for players who don't go to an event because they feel they cant get in anyway. Your turn will come in the order you arrived and not to the player that happened to cross the loading zone at the right time. A small display showing how many players are in que would be good as well so you know how many people are in front of you since you wont have to stand in the doorway while waiting for your space to open. You could move around the zone and battle some enemies or grab some explore badges while you wait.

i went ahead and ran all over the map to reveal the player accessible portions. 2 screenshots here, before and after reveal is used. i turned the map mod off for this but the results are the same with it on. nothing is rotated, look at where the markers are and the uncovered portion of the map before reveal is used. its is just a scale issue, no new map, nothing is rotated, nothing to do with vidiotmaps. although i suppose if you remade the map to fit in the tiny corner of the first image then it would 'work'. you feel like its 2 different maps because when you start, the map isnt zoomed all the way out and it looks like everything is correct when there is fog. when u use reveal and it automatically zooms everything out and suddenly looks out of whack when in reality it was like that the whole time.

a blaster nuking several hundred mobs at once back in the day, and waiting 2-5 minutes for the lag to go away after. sometimes your game just straight up crashed. agro cap of 17 wasnt them just picking a number from nowhere. the max spawn size was 16 and if there was an AV as part of the spawn then there could be a max of 17 mobs in a particular spawn. Most abilities had their target cap reduced to 16 10 or 5 to prevent multiple tanks with the agro cap of 17 from pulling a large group and still having the blaster nuke it. they still tried for several weeks after the change but other methods of farming were found that replaced this one soon enough.

Usually the first thing i say is do it without mods to make sure its a problem on homecomings end and not with the mod. And i just gave a possible explination since the game achieves alot of functionality through methods that werent possible with the original code that feel unintuitive. Like how a league cant actually exist with the original code and they did some janky spaghetti code to make it work. I went ahead and disabled my map mod and ran the safeguard. The map is always the wrong one and since it hasnt been revealed and zoomed out yet it just looks like you are being tracked properly. You can verify this by running along the force field boundary and not seeing the blue line for the edge on the minimap. The player marker along with the bank marker and the marker for the exit van are correctly spaced for the portion of the map that the player can move around in. To me it feels like the entire map was enlarged and all the markers along with the boundary were placed in the bottom left 1/4 of the minimap. So there is a problem but its there from the start and just becomes easier to see once you use reveal.

edit: ignore this, it was a guess based off of incorrect information. Probably because if you zone out the map is covered when you come back. They would need to replace the current map with a new one or it wouldnt be able to make the fog come back when you leave the map.

I always get a laugh when people ask and ask for more challenge and then find a mission they cant solo at max difficulty and request it be made easier. Theres at least 12 easier settings dude 🤪 I think more of the existing game will be balanced around IOs but never all of the game. Specifically the ASF difficulty settings being applied to existing TFs and SFs. I dont expect it any time soon but i imagine it is on 'the list'. -
A little popup toggle button that places escort npc's into the player version of follow would be great. 'Target me and press F. I can rescue u faster that way.' Maybe street rescues could do the same by default and they only use beacon pathing if they are no longer closing the gap with their rescuer.

In my past experience, including the use of racism as part of your counter point usually doesnt end well. If he meant a duck or a bad person instead then i highly recommend going that route first. And maybe he was replying to everyone at that point but it was after quoting me so im here scratching my head as to how the jump from cease and desist to might as well call someone a racist came from. And a gm doesnt have to do something just because they were pinged. But there us alot of forum to cover and its easier to stay informed if things turn southward by reading it in the first place. I also cant un-ping him. Im also more than happy to be incorrect about this. Discuss away and ignore that i ever said anything.

I did kinda put words in someones mouth but it was NC, not you. They still hold the rights for the game and if they feel the IP is being infringed on for profit and dont sue, then they risk losing the rights to the Property. Im not sure why we should be calling you racist instead but im thinking maybe @GM Impervium should take a peek in here and make his own determination.

Going above cost to pay for extras is still a profit model and has a greater chance to incur the wrath of NC with a cease and desist letter. I prefer the safer path.

The chance for double hit works for the pets if you click the hybrid first and then summon the pets. If the pets survive then the next time you click the double hit hybrid you dont have to resummon. But changing zones or exiting a mission means you need to start the procedure from the beginning again. Its high maintenance but good for long missions.

They have tiny gravity controllers in their fingers that cast wormhole to bring in ice from the north pole. Then they force the gravity controllers to use propel to move the ice. The gravity controllers are applying the slows and holds as well. This perfectly explains why ice blast has so many control powers and no snipe. In reality ice blast users are mind controllers in disguise.

I made a bind load file that switches what power is on auto every time i press forward. Turns out i press forward quite often and it keeps both powers active almost all the time.

back on live i had to request GM assistance for a glowie that was inside the map geometry of an Oranbegan map. its entirely possible that the last guy wasnt in a player accessible part of the map at all. -

In atlas park, some of the sewer grates already have vahzilok come out when you get close. Maybe they come out of some of the doors also but for sure they come out of the sewer grates. If appropriate doors had appropriate mobs come out of them, I would be ok with that. Not every door all the time though. But there are plenty of doors that are never mission doors that would totally make sense if some mobs came out. Some warriors come out of a building in talos for example. It is completely reasonable that mobs would be looking out a window and decide to exit their building as a hero approaches or just as an every day event that people exit buildings that arent about to fight you. They shouldnt automatically agro to you and it shouldnt be a 'suprise, you clicked the wrong door, heres some mobs'. To fully flesh it out i would like to see mobs come out of a building, walk to another building, and go in. Maybe they con yellow since they 'arent looking for a fight' like their peers that just hang out on the street all day. -
Sorry, i meant for someone to mean anyone. Wasnt intending to direct it towards you. Ive gone solo on this mission and it was really hard and a team of 3 was hard. Several deaths but the hospital is in the mission. I cant see a team of 8 having any difficulty at +0 though. And mission difficulty is meant for +0. So on a mission that is supposed to be hard, going above +0 will make it very hard. I would say -1 exists for this purpose.
