  1. Well now I want to solo the ZTF in hard mode just for the extra boss fights!
  2. I did a few loops around the Zig in Brickstown, and was able to get the badge within an hour, and that's with multiple people doing the same route. Now, killing said Winter Lord by yourself is a different story. 🙂
  3. They recently moved the Defense and Heal enhancements to the equip/upgrade powers instead of the pets themselves. You probably had it slotted before the patch.
  4. Were the normal salvage drops in addition to candy canes? They are 'even-level' mobs now, and should drop normal salvage in addition to candy canes.
  5. This has been fixed and resolved for quite some time now. Pets no longer despawn/respawn when going up/down elevators. They do when changing zones, but the buffs still remain using what can only be described as 'code magic'

I've been playing in MIDs a lot and building different characters (mostly Blasters, Brutes, and Scrappers) and I notice that 1) Mids doesn't really have a tooltip on the various ATOs procs and 2) I haven't been able to find good information on them to see if they are worth their salt or not. With the fact we can get the ATOs with reward merits (and the AH has them for pretty cheap anyways) are any of the ATOs NOT worth slotting in any archetype or combination of powersets?

  8. IIRC, Patrol XP only affects experience earned from mobs, not from mission completion (or even story arc bonuses) but i could be mistaken.
  9. I'm currently playing an Energy Melee/Stone scrapper and loving the durability it has. I have a build set up that its softcapped to just about everything, and its already miles ahead of my /willpower scrapper in how much damage it can take (though i think its just by virtue of /stone being defense based where willpower doesn't shine until it gets IOs.
  10. I solo'ed this on my bot/traps the other night, and I gotta say I really appreciate the work and effort that went into this TF. I wanna run it again to get all of the badges.
  11. GM-scaled? You mean level-less so they react and spawn at your level regardless of what your level actually is?
  12. This is a known issue, and is being worked on soon(tm), The rewards table was expanded to I think level 60, but for some reason isn't rewarding extra rewards for mobs past level 54. Its on the radar is fix though, and should be available here shortly.
  13. I tend to throw endurance reduction into the base slot of my armors, and get at least 1 acc/1 dam/1 end reduc in my attacks as a priority. At low levels, endurance is an issue, and you can always use Orange or Purple inspirations to fill the holes in your build. I lean hard on inspirations when soloing at the low levels. Around level 14 or so I will open up MIDS and start tinkering with a long-term build but even then I try to match the slots and powers I already have so I don't have to do a respec.

  16. Increased Density from the Kinetics powerset gives you the ability to better control your inertia like Combat Jumping. I'm not twitchy enough to get these badges on my toons but I know the physics behind how to get them.

  18. I think the OP is conflating the differences between Blasters Manipulation powers with a Dominators Assault powers. Yes, they occasionally share some powers between the, and yes include both melee and ranged attacks, but they overall have different use cases, and different playstyles. If you want to play a 'ninja' Dominator, first of all, what primary do you pick, as none of the primaries really support a 'ninja's hide in the shadows' playstyle without dipping heavily into the power pools, and secondly, Martial Assault already has the Shuriken ranged attacks, and 3 melee, non-weapon based attacks, two of which are AoEs.

I'll second this but also add that I solo'ed the ZTF on my bot/traps MM and while it wasn't in advanced mode, I was able to complete it in a pretty decent time (about 2 hours) and that's with clearing all of the maps and looking for hidden easter eggs (also reading each of the new mobs 'About' sections because I like new stuff) I did not experience any deaths until the last mission, where there is a LOT of AoE from long range snipers in hard to reach areas. This seems intended and I loved the use of actual 'Sniper' mobs being placed in hard to reach areas as it really leveraged their AI. I think I died a total of 4 times, but one of them was due to the 'CRUNCH' cuz I just walked off the edge without thinking about it. I did notice the pets are immune to CRUNCH already which is a nice bonus.
  20. For what its worth, the rewards tables should scale up to 57 (or maybe 60?) its just not implemented 'yet'. Its on the radar of the dev team and should be implemented Soon(TM)
  21. The exploration badges are located on VidiotMaps already, its just in the latest latest version. You can also run the tip missions to get all of the explorations badges pretty easily.
  22. Re: 'healer' mobs that give no XP. I know there is an issue with the AI that priorities attacks over heals, and that is why certain mobs (Immunes Surgeons and the new Blackwing Medics) don't have attacks, but I noticed that the Longbow Menders, and the clockwork Menders also have a heal that they use pretty regularly in between attacks and they award XP/Inf. Could the 'pure' healer mobs be given a long recharge attack s they can rewards XP/Inf but still be a 'healer' mob for the group? Its a little disappointing running into a level 54 'healer' mob, taking longer to kill it dur to the purple patch kicking in, and it awarding no XP/Inf at all. This is compounded by the fact that they count for the 'group' that a end mission boss has, so you sometimes have to hunt down a teleporting rewardless mob to finish a mission.
  23. You mean there are those who don't have every connection memorized by heart and hated the muscle memory change when the trams go merged together? Basically if it isn't reachable by tram or O-zone, does the zone even exist?
  24. If the incarnate salvage change was the only thing that 'fell through the cracks' I would whole heartedly agree it was just overlooked. But it's not the only thing that was changed and not documented. I think the larger issue at hand isn't Discord vs Forums, or even large vs small updates, its that we're closing in on the holidays, and our volunteer staff is probably limited to those who want to work (for free!) during that time. Things happen.

    One thing to consider is that +0 to you USED to be +2 to your T1s, and +1 to your T2s, but now its even level across the board. So, +0 to you is now +0 to all your pets. This makes the math kind of finicky but as others have stated, its about the same damage wise, and BETTER survivability.
