Having hundreds of characters which somehow always get their places scrambled for some unknown reason, is it possible to add a sorter to the Character Selection screen after server login? You could make it sort by AT, Level, or Alphabetically perhaps? I think this would be welcomed by all players, but especially by we few, we happy few, we band of altaholics.

I've changed my mind. Comic book stories should never change at all. Ever. Put all characters in their appropriate stories, without changing any of the dialogue, costumes, or characters involved. Let's get back to legitimate, historically accurate comic book stories for every movie. Marvel can present the new "old" X-Men!(I just know that yellow and blue look will be a fashion trend in the late 2020's for sure!)

There will likely never be another phenomenon like the Iron Man through Avengers Endgame movies ever again. No matter whether you liked, loved, or hated it, you've got to admit that much at least. There are far too many grown men these days who seem to make a living out of crying about comic book stories and how they have suddenly become political. I would counter that argument with the cover from Captain America #1...

I guess you're right, it was actually a good thing that they shut down CoH as it's been a dying game for so very, very long. Almost makes me wonder what any of us are doing here...

A good leader informs their prospective teammates what goals they have(increased level, speed, casual, kill most, etc) while recruiting for the TF. Even then, most players just read "<whatever TF> lfm", ignore everything else, and do what they will do regardless. If you call out said player, you will be called a poor leader. If you don't call out said player, you will be called a poor leader. If you boot said player, you will be called a poor leader and then panned in General chat for it. If you don't boot said player, other players could quit the team. If you do boot said player, other players could quit the team. The only way to truly "win" is to just have as much fun as you can in spite of those inevitable uncooperative players.

Scene: Summer 2012 Event: The Avengers just broke $1 billion in box office sales, a record for a comic book hero movie. Soon after: NCSoft announces CoH sunset... There is a business lesson here just waiting to be taught, I think?

Bought it, played it some, forgot it. Other than those eyes. Those insane NPC eyes still haunt my dreams. Baldur's Gate 3 makes Starfield look like fucking Sesame Street.

The Influence really doesn't start pouring in until lvl 35+, until then it's fine to use double xp with no influence. You'll still get recipe drops, and the lvl 50 ones vendor for 100k+. Want more Influence? Play your level 50's for a month. You earn more Influence in a single day at lvl 50 than you'll ever earn from the whole trip from 1-50. If you keep double xp on from 35-50, you'll hit 50 faster, but lose out on about 100 million Influence.

This whole thread just put its boot in my asymmetry.

I'm not sure how to answer this... I love City of Heroes, but I've never played WoW. Plus, I'm also a horrible person.

I've always found that October is the one month were it's damn near impossible to find a team, unless of course you want to mindlessly gorge your character with the all-you-can-collect Inf/XP buffet that is the Halloween Event. It's possible that next year everyone will do their very best to be well behaved and participate in this game just exactly how you want them to, but it's not very likely.
