  1. Okay, here's my take: Staticat, a cybernetically enhanced felinoid whose electrical powers make her fur poofy. staticat.costume Also, did they shrink the max total file size allowed? I kept getting a message that said only 774 kB, and I could swear it used to be more than that...
  2. Have you chosen an origin? An alignment? Anything about the character?
  3. Sticking pretty close to what you did and taking some inspiration from Erratic's take, here's my version. I really wish there was a two-color version of the Imperial Dynasty top under "Tops with Skin" where you could choose the second color, but I think it turned out pretty nicely. silk0.costume
  4. Any more detail about the character (personality, backstory, even playstyle) would be useful. Otherwise, I'm not really sure where you want to go with this.
  5. Well, I just got it today with a group using the Arrows of Jealousy from the Valentines' Day event. Those seemed to work just fine.
  6. That's just unfair! 😞
  7. Although it WOULD be helpful to have the graphics area of the beam's damage patch cover all of the area that does damage so it's easier to avoid. I can't believe that that was purposefully not done already. Also, does the Golden Throwing Wrench actually work? I've tried it several times without it having a confuse effect. And does the Dimensional Grounding Ray actually confuse him? I also can't help but wonder if there's some bug with the fix-it patch after the new release, because I have a friend who got the Unfriendly Fire badge 4 times after the release and 0 out of 7 or 8 times recently (probably since the fix-it patch).
  8. Really? I tend to put it in either my T1 or T2 blast power so I can de-mezz myself if needed.
  9. There's currently no other way to get Legato, right? I've looked for "Incarnate level Cimeroran Traitors" to no avail.
  10. Crey are available heroside in the lvl 40-50 tip missions "Scrawled Bark" vigilante option and "Shattered Jar of Flesh" vigilante option.
  11. It seems to me it's less "what's OP and what's UP" versus "what works with my playstyle and what doesn't". For example, I personally don't really "get" blasters that well (waaaaay to squishy for my playstyle), but I've seen other people play them amazingly well. I've found, to my surprise, that I tend to prefer Defenders over Corruptors due to the Defenders' increased buff numbers helping with survivability (when I screw up, I tend to screw up badly, and I like to be able to get out of it without dying if possible). Also, the few times I've tried a WS or PB have been... less than fun for me, but some people can absolutely destroy with them. It's more a matter of what's OP or UP for you than for general game content, and I think that the way the original devs made the game so that so many playstyles can be successful is nothing short of brilliant.
  12. As a fan of the books, I will not be watching the show. From the spoilers I've read about, they changed too much about the characters from the get-go, and I think watching it would just make me repeatedly yell "did they even READ the books?!" at the TV. Detailed gripes in the spoiler section, if anyone wants to read a stranger's complaints on the internet 😛.
  13. Eagerly awaiting this update. Thanks so much to whoever makes Mids' for this amazing tool!
  14. Also, do the Goldbricker Smelters occur in the wild, or just in missions (or just in certain missions)?
  15. Where can I find Incarnate Cimeroran Traitors for the "Legatus" badge?
  16. The zip file maps are updated too, right?
  17. Yeah. I just ran an arc with 2 friends and didn't get it (ran Sister Solaris' arc for the Minotaurs and Cyclopes). What gives, devs?
  18. I've gotten some compliments on this one recently, so I thought I'd share; my ice/bio stalker Arctic Mist. Screen selection shot: Night-time shot so you can see the glowies 🙂: I can't wait for the winter event so I can get her a proper badge title (still enjoying the Halloween event for now)!
  19. What's your character's name? Is she a hero, villain, rogue, vigilante, don't-care?
  20. I should probably reply to you directly, though, right? I don't want to hijack the thread or start an unrelated side-topic.
  21. As you may have suspected, I was hoping you'd say something like that. 😛 The main thing I was thinking of was Decay/Rot (powerset suggestions: rad, zombies, dark [colored like dust or fungal spores], plants/thorns/nature and/or bio armor [colored a dead brown/black]). I thought about suggesting Madness, but you've kind-of got that covered with Night (esp. the Princess of Night *shudders*). I also thought of maybe a Wildness/Wilderness court (powerset suggestions: beasts, plants/thorns/nature, savage). If we had the wind control powerset, I'd suggest Tempest, but it feels a bit too limited without that (you could use storm, elec, maybe water, but there's really not much that fits thematically, although I suppose you could get creative with colors). I was also considering Dreams/Nightmares/Terror (powerset suggestions: psy, dark, illusion), but again the thematically-appropriate choices seem limited (ill/dark controller is AMAZING, though. I was thinking that and maybe psi melee and dark armor for the other one...). Mostly, I'm trying to work out a way to fit in as many powersets as possible (although you didn't say which ones you're already using or if there are others you'd like to work in).
  22. Agreed! Are you going to add more courts as you go?
  23. Oddly enough, I'm in the "accepting" category for brutes, but have a hard time figuring out why corruptors are a thing anymore... As far as "the brutiest brute", I'd like to recommend a rad/bio with damage and debuff procs in the DoT auras. You basically jump into the middle of a huge mob, beat up on the bosses, and by the time they're down everything else is dead. Seems pretty brutish to me: jump right in, kill EVERYTHING, repeat. I tend to view brutes as in between scrappers and tanks; less dmg than a scrapper (although that seems more and more dubious the more I play my scrappers) but tougher, and squishier than a tank but more dmg. That's one of the reasons I like /bio on a brute; you basically have a "tank mode" and a "scrapper mode" with the different adaptations. Brutes, to me, are a bit more jack-of-all-trades when it comes to melee, which I find quite enjoyable. If you need to tank, you usually can. If you're free to just go hit stuff, you do a respectable amount of dmg.
  24. Ha! I actually got to donate this time! Keep up the good work, HC team! 😄
