  1. Not trash. Can be complex but that's what I like about them. The options. On Live Kheldians were accessed only after lvl 50. Not so much as a reward but by that time you're familiar enough with the game and know how to play. Using Mids b/c ATM I can't access the game, You're Primary Set has 14 powers to choose from. Secondary Set 13 powers to choose from. Available slots is 80. If you go WS Dark Nova (the flying squid/blaster-mode) that's one power selection but it open 4 shooting abilities and each ability can be slotted. Dark Nova (the lobster/tank-mode) is one power but opens 6 melee abilities. In total it's 37 power OPTIONS but in the finished build you only get 24 powers. (It's minor but because travel powers are inherent (Teleport/Fly) the respective Travel Power Pools are greyed out ingame but available on Mids.) In the story arc it's explained how Quantums and Voids are you're arch enemies. To them you're nearly a one-shot kill; if not in Dwarf form. Whereas using all 3 forms is an option I'd recommend it. If you want to tank, role a tank. If you want to shoot, be a blaster. If you want to be a versatile Swiss Army knife of talents, role a Tri-Form Kheldian. I prefer the WS. EDIT: You can do all human. Human+squid. Human+lobster. Or human+squid+lobster the "tri-form". Find builds on the site, use the form shifting binds, but by all means Read. Read. Read
  2. Start with Frosticus' guide. Very informative about the set, your role, and potential like soloing Lusca with Poison/Fire Def. I was going to do Poison/Sonic but I have a ton of Sonics. Poison/Rad Defender started as an experiment but one of my favorites.
  3. THIS. And the Atlas Park music as you approach Ms. Liberty; it got to me.
  4. Old school Spiderman, straight A student, made his web fluid in his bedroom lab but it could run out and at the worst possible time; drama. But no kryptonite. IDK if I would consider it a "weakness" but when he got his spider-powers he was an awkward kid in high school and there's that FEAR someone might learn his secret identity. And on prom night! Oh Noes.
  5. It would help if we knew your password 😉 (Don't give out passwords to strangers via the internet.)
  6. Can I have one? 😁 EDIT: After being away from any computer and the internet, for several hours, it dawned on me how improper I worded it and how I can't change it for another few hours. I should have phrased it, "In addition to the ones you bought for the kids, can I have one of my own?" Original post sounds like I'm a Grinch taking something intended for the children. Never my intent! I'm one of the "Heroes"; on occasion a Vigilante, Rogue, and a game-Villain.
  7. Only 3? Warshade - couldn't get to 50 on Live. But when I'm on my Peacebringer now I keep thinking I have the WS abilities. Street Justice/Invul - a Colussus theme; Tank or Brute haven't decided. EM/Elec brute - another throwback character I never finished on Live. But with the I27 improvements I'm very curious.
  8. tl;dr with histories of whatever. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
  9. Thank You Everyone Involved!! On your deathbeds may you all regain total consciousness.
  10. <-- Dark Melee/SR 2 things about SR that stand out: 1) it's a late bloomer; 2) you need about every power in the set, some people some love Elude, some hate it. DM/SR is "a very safe build" someone once said. I don't have a completed build to post, I'm only in the 40s, but I love SR. It's Defense but turn it on and forget. It's soo minor but SR isn't shiny like Invul, or have props like Shield; good for thematics. Is SR the best? (shrugs), define "best" all sets have pros & cons. I like Dark Armor too fun, lots of tools, can be tight on End. Edit: I never made Bio, Firey, or Regen so I can't comment on those

During Live there was a joke either on the official forums or our SG's website, Office Workers. Secretaries are the T1, like Propel in Gravity Control they could hurl typewriters, hot coffee, pens/sharpie markers. Then T2 Managers use neck ties to strangle and dazzling schedules to Confuse, Sleep/Mez. T3 would be Supervisors Holds like a ball & chain to the desk. Strictly a joke.
  13. In the comics at least, I don't have Netflix, sorry, but part of his heighten senses was enhanced reflexes. He COULD use the cable wire in the club to spin in front of him like a propeller and block a bullet. But not a whole clip. For a while he had amnesia, was a blind folded boxer, and had an African American girl friend (Nyla Skin). But he admitted to her something about how whereas he can sense and be aware of things around him he can't see colors. She panicked to herself, "He doesn't know I'm black!" Moving silently, taking out the lights, and fighting in the shadows/darkness are his advantage being blind. Which is like invisible to his enemies but if it's daylight and/or the lights are on he can't turn invisible. And because of that I always thought he was MA/SR, or StJ/SR Scrapper. EDIT: he does fight with the club, but he's a fast fighter (good reflexes) and ingame imo maybe Staff but WM and TW are too slow.
  14. Yes. Once. I buffed a Tank with the /tell, and the reply was something like , "Save it for the damage dealers!" I said, "Check your map hun. WE are the damage dealers." The rest weren't moving, just spread out all over, like they're watching TV. AoE buffs I'll only announce if they're new, or out of range.
  15. First I go through the Team roster, who needs it, who wouldn't. I've had players tell me they don't need/want it they're a Def. They're still shooting, I give it to them. Usually everyone gets Forge. ANYway... I use a macro because I noticed: A) a lot of players aren't familiar with Thermal; B) players would stand around after the buff thinking it's just another shield; C) the /tell's signature-beep kinda wakes them up; D) I got tired of explaining what "Forge" does, and to announce in Team Chat isn't always necessary. Similar to the above but my /tell: /macro FRGE tell $target, Granting you FORGE! +Dam +ToHt.$$powexecname forge Player sees, Granting you FORGE! +Dam +ToHt EDIT: at first I was asking players if they even noticed a difference with Forge I wasn't sure about keeping the power. They say things like OMG Absolutely so I kept it. It's a party favorite.
  16. 47 We had the Magnavox Odyssey (older brother's), and the Atari 2600. Edit: Found where someone hid the old Atari and the games; still have them.
  17. Elizadeath Surcharges Komit Shugah Drizzel Cheshire Brat Blitz N. Ere Libbertay Liesalot Sweet Vengence Hard Candi Dark Valli Alli Oop Instead of using y's I prefer using i's. Just a quirk. Edit: In mission I was on "Shugah," someone in the Team asked "What's with all the dark folks around lately?" Shugah is African-American girl, "Excuse me??" He clarified how he noticed there's a lot of players using Dark powers.
  18. Character-depending I'm proud to wear the Isolator badge from the tutorial. Takes a while to solo it. Wear it until something more challenging/memorable comes along. Character-depending I skip the tutorial completely.
  19. Yonder "It's over on yonder."
  20. People that want an entire book summarized in 2 words, or a comparison made to a movie they once saw. Pet peeve #2, using that limited info to proudly claim that they read the book.
  21. Not to be difficult but what about Thundercats' Lion-O? He uses a sword but said sword is Magical; changes size, etc... EDIT: Personally I glance at the different Origin-titles to influence my origin.
  22. My current Villains are still in teh 20s. Contacts I wouldn't skip: Radio, Willy Wheeler, and Doc Buzzsaw. And back on Live I remember I liked The Television contact level 45-50 but knew not everyone would get all the TV references. With altitus I sometimes forget which contact H/V had which arc but overall I liked the stories on V more.
