    I don't like leading very quiet teams, that's a big thing for me. I chat a lot when I'm teaming, and if I'm leading the team and nobody chats with me my brain shortcuts to "well clearly everyone on Earth hates me." I find I have an easier time chatting when I'm soloing.

    Oh right! So I guess we're looking at the right-hand... handy bit with the... thumb resty thing on the inside. Ok, the geometry is making some sense to me now. There's a swirling shape just left of the middle of the icon that's catching the light, which is what's really throwing me off. I don't think it's where the cover pivots, because that's a circle on the cover itself. <time passes> OH! Is it another button? I was reading it as one continuous swirl! I coloured it and adjusted the light so that the geometry made a little more sense to me: (It would also help if the cover didn't tangent with the border of the IO)

    I didn't think they were particularly good gears. Incidentally, I still can't figure out what the shapes bottom left of Gaussian's are all about. It just doesn't read box to me.

    I'm really happy to hear that the PvP community is getting traction. And it's really nice to hear people's good experiences.

    Yeah, I wondered all the same things. I'm hoping to replace the halloween tarantula with a little robot arachnos spiderling, because <-- Arachnophobe. Or heck, even just anything, I just want it gone. I think the model I want to replace shares animations with one I'd end up with. The tarantula isn't targetable, so anchors and hitboxes shouldn't matter. I'm fine if animations and textures look janky.

    Has anyone figured out if it's possible to locally replace 3D models in the same manner that it's possible to replace textures and sounds? Especially looking to replace certain enemy models.

    I think closed testing is essential. Open testing everything would way too much to handle, especially when a whole lot of stuff could end up on the cutting room floor anyway. HC just gotta work however they find works for them.

    I struggle leading high level teams, for similar anxiety/preference reasons others have stated. I think I'd run more mission teams if arc rewards were better distributed around the team. I feel a bit selfish when I'm not soloing them... weirdly.

    Funny - I was playing a lot of Satisfactory with a friend recently. Satisfactory, a game about automation, gives you milestones to meet. My friend was completely goal-oriented and was happy to manually craft each and every individual piece needed to reach that goal rather than build a factory to make them. I, meanwhile, would be happy getting the tier 1 machines working and looking juuuuust right. We were playing the game at far too different a pace to be sustainable. I think that carries across into CoH and other games I play. I watched my Dad play through a bit of Bioshock, and he just bull-in-china-shop hopped it as quick as he could to the end of each zone. I'd try and take in every detail of that amazing world design. It's why I get frustrated on speedrunning/ghosting sort of teams. I'm in no rush.

    I suspect that currently the hats and their hair are one single, inseparable mesh at the moment. Until the 3D editing nut is cracked, they may be stuck that way.
