  1. Interesting. For me, furylock was nothing but an extension or lovechild of scrapperlock. And it never worked quite as well because I always take taunt on my brutes where I NEVER take confront on my scrappers. That said... I'm fully happyfunkilltime on all my scrappers, brutes and tanks.
  2. heh. doh. exact same slotting I do.
  3. I'd go with this. I take taunt on my tanks and my brutes because I like the power. I like an easy "save the squishy" click at my disposal. Is it necessary when you've also got taunt auras and punchvoke? No. Edit: Unless you're playing with REALLY bad players.
  4. I just sat at max aggro at max diff to figure that one out. 🙂 And 30% is too low when the tank AT +damres and scaling damres IO are also taken into account.
  5. The eyes also show up in the big forest map for instanced missions. I've noticed that on kill alls the marker for the last enemy shows up near the eyes instead of wherever the enemy actually ends up being.
  6. No steadfast +3% def? Dooooooom! We have some slotting similarities. Fiery Orb in Stone Cages is MUST!
  7. I've got a staff/bio scrapper. Or maybe she's a brute. Either way, she runs with both +dam forms and it works great.
  8. Stalagmites... what an incredible alpha strike power. Wherever my final build ends up, getting as much recharge as possible for that one power is my main goal. I went with primal forces for conserve power and temp invulnerability so unsure on your ice questions. As for mud pots, currently on the fence with it. I suspect that I'll keep it in the end cuz moar damuge.
  9. O.o $%^& me. You haven't even posted the builds and my brain went "why the *&^% didn't you think of that?!?!?!" Edit: I'm not sure about dumping fighting pool. That's a lot of S/L resist you're leaving behind. But I will be watching. Edit 2: And lose afterburner on my scrapper? Hrrm....
  10. If that was the goal, then cool. Would I agree that my Claws/SR brute has 90% the survivability as my SR/Claws tank? I don't know. They're both pretty damn awesome.
  11. It depends on the goal. If you want to be tougher, you go Inv. If you want your damage output to be up in the "unholy frell" range, you go bio. I've got a DM/Inv brute that just doesn't die, but I would never bother going to check his DPS. How expensive are my builds? I'd go with "standard expense for 5 purple sets and a properly considered Mids build." That said, I've run a LOT of Bio users. Some at lowbie levels, some in the 30s with nothing but basic IOs and a Perf Shifter set, some tweaked hard at 50. Bio is pretty dang solid the whole way. Will it ever be as "fark you, you can't kill me" as Inv? No, absolutely not.
  12. I'd like to throw something that wasn't combined by the others. Claws and Bio on a scrapper. Everything dies so quickly that the extra mitigation from Inv becomes unnecessary. When you couple everything mentioned by the others into the mix, and tack on the Scrapper AT IO procs for even higher critical chances, you end up with a beast that can take down a pylon in under two minutes and has an AoE chain that will melt spawns at max diff.
  13. Figured I should ask this here. Claws/SR Brute: 4:48 Fire/Bio Sent: 5:15 (Attack chain is not optimized.) Claws/SR Tank: 5:22 Tank and brute builds are damn near as identical as can be. Did tanks get overbuffed? Late edit: Swapped out assault radial for assault core and improved by 6 seconds. Thought conventional wisdom was that radial was better for those with AT mods under 1.
  14. Some, sure. Others seem to just have a low tolerance for fools. I ignore racists, zealots and spammers.
  15. I love me some gravitational lensing. I also use this one regularly.
  16. Nihilii already covered it perfectly but as a guy with claws/sr in all 4 melee ATs I just have to jump in with a big ol' "THIS!" Claws is awesome. I've tried Savage multiple times but it just doesn't feel right and maybe it's *because* I've played claws for so long. Hell, now I'm even thinking about cranking up a Dark/Claws tank. You know, to go with that new Dark/SR scrapper I need to build.
  17. With the SM and DC changes, I'm seriously considering revisiting DM/SR on a scrapper.
  18. Back before the snap, I had a grav/nrg dom. She was fun but I'm not even sure I ever got her to 50. She's been recreated and still not 50. But then I did a 100% ranged earth/fire dom. She's 50, she's fun but she's in dire need of a proper respec. And while she is effective, there was still something just not quite right. Now, I have an a 100% melee earth/earth dominator and holy hells below, I love this combo. The sounds, the visceral smashing, the pure unbridled melee domination of large spawns. And she's only 37. I can only imagine the freakishly raging beast of destruction that she's going to be at 50 and properly built. So ok... add me to the dominator love crowd. I'm gonna be playin this gal a LOT.
  19. I love seein all this SR love.
  20. Actually, I bet Siphon Life will keep you standing without issue.
  21. Just so ya know, Werner, when I soloed the max diff ITF, I HAD to use ultimate insps. Otherwise the autohit fluffy would tear me to pieces before I could kill it or final Rom. So kudos, mang. Well fought.
  22. Truth. If I really want to, I can go 1 to 50 in two hours. But right now? I am soloing my new earth/earth dom in radio missions at lvl 26 and loving her. As for EA, it sucked REALLY bad when it was created. Then it got fixed. It's pretty damn sweet now and I would also love to see it on tanks.
  23. It's 45 for regular content but 58 for incarnate content. Either goal is fine, I just prefer that extra bit to help when I'm farmin DA repeatable missions. Edit: That and barrier go a long way toward keeping me up and scrappin no matter what is coming at me.
  24. Supremacy is MINE! Muuuhahahah!
