TBH I think anyone saying power creep in that instance is trying to prevent FURTHER power creep. Not that I agree with that sentiment at all. I agree more with Luminara's points, after giving it some thoughts. The OPs suggestion could be tweaked a bit.

This would also effectively mean I wouldn't bother with incarnate content. It's already limited enough with some powers not being available below level 45. No thanks.

The two bolded statements above are where they should take any inherent for such an AT.

I would not like an inherent that required team mates to be around. If I'm having end problems playing the game on my own, say "go get some teammates" isn't very appealing to me. A "team most of the time" AT just doesn't sound interesting if it has inherent problems soloing.

I really wish all the folks posting the various "devs change the game to be what I think is the best playstyle" posters of the last month or so would read the bolded.

If you want to play like a assassin, solo. Hell once stalkers get their special Stalker IO they barely play like an assassin anymore.

The tier 9s should just have their crashes lessened or removed. I do not think any of the other changes the OP posted are needed.

I think we should have MORE inf sinks not less. To me , more things like the amplifiers are the perfect things to take more inf out of the economy. I would reduce how powerful they are or increase how much the cost before removing them. Removing them should be a last resort.

On some builds the concealment pool DOES get me excited.I have the concealment pool on several of my characters that I focus on recharge over defense. I use the pool as LOTG Recharge mules.

I and many others find Ouro very unwieldy. Which is why I hardly ever exemp to run old story arcs.

I think the OPs idea might be easier to implement, but I would not be opposed to either his or the one quoted above.

For building a character. Goes back to the idea that pools (origin or otherwise) need to NOT suck compared to other primary/secondary powers or other pool powers. They don't need to be overpowered (and surely not equal to every primary/sec power), but if I look at them, and look at another power, then look back at the origin/pool power and go "nahhhh" SOME improvement IS needed. EDIT: The more we have good powers across the pri/secs, pool, epic pools, and origin pools the more we have to make hard choices for builds. That leads to MORE build diversity, not less.

Hi, I just leveled up my 40th level 50 last night. If HC didn't exist I would not have been able to. It was my biggest pleasure in my adult life to learn that the game I love returned. So despite all the passionate disagreements in various threads in this community, of the last few weeks I have one think to say to the HC devs: Thank You THANK YOU THANK YOU For bringing back the game we all love. Despite what we might say from time to time we truly appreciate your efforts. That is all. (Carry on with the usual forums argume--errr, discussions. 😛 )

If the idea that origin pools were created for theme and there is an expectation that only those folks who pick that theme will want those powers no matter how lackluster they are, then I'd rather they not create any further origin pools and just create generic ones that work with any theme. It will just be a waste of time.
