There were major concerns being voiced over the change in the User Agreement. Muse released an updated CLA (Contributor License Agreement ) after they had already updated the license. And then did the same thing with their Privacy Policy. Because of the wording people had major concerns over privacy and data collection. Thanks for the info on an Audacity replacement. I'm still using an old Audacity that I won't be updating, but I might check out GoldWave.

Sorry, not that I am aware of. At least not yet anyway. It's likely that it is using a sfx file from something else so it's name may be unrelated. I'm trying to hunt it down in PK's Rosetta Stone and have yet to locate it. I lost my Paragon Data Dump when my secondary drive died, still have a couple hours left on re-downloading all the decompressed files. Update @Dreamkeeper try 'V_Explo\explomed2.ogg' after testing about 30 files I was able to silence the explosion with that one. There is still a burn sfx going at the same time, but it's much quieter than the explosion even with game sfx volume nearly max'd out, can't even hear it at my normal audio setting.

I too believe both sides. I don't play Hard Mode for the simple reason that I play to relax, not to get frustrated to the point where I want to chuck my laptop across the room. Some aspects of the game are too easy which is why I love that in CoH you have the ability to scale the difficulty to suit your own particular play style. I disagree with @The_Warpact with regards to Going Rogue, side-switching was a way for players to continue their characters stories. CoH after all is an RPG where I've seen a lot more players dedicate their play style to 'RP' more than any other MMORPG I've played. I actually wish that more MMO's that have 'redsides/bluesides' allowed for side-switching. And I think folks would have a better time with Goldside if it weren't for the broken contact system where you can easily get locked out of content if you don't turn off XP gain.

Fortunately, you don't need the pigg viewer to change sounds, you just need to know the folder location and sfx file name and make those in your game folder and the game will pull the sounds from there rather than the sfx in the compressed pigg files. You can sub silence, or some other sound to your liking. There are so much of hte sounds in the game that I do like so if I can avoid turning it off completely I'm willing to sub a few dozen files.

Yeah the incessant demon roars are annoying, that's why I changed mine to infant giggles. Same goes for the MM Bots constant tromp-tromp-tromp every time they move. They wear rubber duckies on their feet now.

Whelp, folks thought that CoH had sunk to the depths never to return either. I would give further Goldside content as much chance as CoH rising from the ashes and much more than the Titanic seeing the light of day again.

Mine is still Goldside waiting on appropriate content to progress to 50.

There is the XT options available, though I believe you'd have to build the figure from the get-go in that size rather than just up-sizing your figure. You can start with the Half-Giant body, then add the gear to that instead of the Human body type.

I prefer wired headsets since adding a battery to an already heavy headset impacts my neck even more.
