  1. My Praetorian expat, who grew up surviving on the streets of what remained of Tokyo gives zero pancakes about what happens to dirtbags preying on the citizens of Paragon City, or anywhere else for that matter. As seen below, she has no issue exacting retribution for the person that couldn't defend themself, continuing on her way and letting the street sweepers clean up.
  2. I played Morrowind, ...a lot. Scoured every slope and valley, nook and cranny, ruin and cave of that island. Must have spent 1000 hours lurking about. Back when I first started playing CoH and came across my first real cave mission, I think it was the Rescue the Fortune Teller mission in Perez Park. I used to leap over puddles of water in the cave maps to avoid being heard by enemies. It wasn't really something the game did to confuse me, but actions learn in another game that impacted the way I played CoH.
  3. Once we get a new house, I'll be able to unpack my library that I've spent a lifetime collecting. Crystal Singer was one of the first books I bought for myself (outside of Scholastic Books anyway). Spent years buying books through the Sci-Fi book club. I look forward to reading them all over again when they're all unpacked... all 800 of them... Granted I have 4 sets of encyclopedias, I probably won't be re-reading those. <.<
  4. Considering dad's name, I'd have to go with Gobstopper. I take it mom is... Chiclets?
  5. Definitely a candidate for the Punny Names thread. 😄
  6. Sure, I suppose that'd work too. I'm all for options. 🙂
  7. I'm the opposite, I'm glad the Legacy devs added the fade-out on SFX, but then I also modify my own for them to be less annoying. Options would be the best of both worlds, similar to Powerset VFX options, it'd be nice if the Costume Creator UI included options for SFX, to fade or not to fade. I'm pretty sure that such a feature would require quite a bit of work on the dev's part though.
  8. A couple other games I tend to gravitate towards. Stream Raiders - A browser-based combat game that allows viewers to play as the army to their streamer's captain. For those of you that follow/watch streamers. Townscaper - A very zen, simplistic city builder.
  9. I imagine that such a thread would go something like this...
  10. On the other hand... Hail Hitter
  11. Icebound
  12. I brought this up in an older thread. Some of the areas where you'd expect there to be day jobs in Praetoria, like the Precincts, the rail and Studio 55 are absent. We shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get those.
  13. Yeah, this kind of thing is more common than you'd expect. Any one power can borrow SFX from other powers or from creatures, enemy groups, or villains. It may have cut down on the amount of files in the game, but as is obvious, it has it's own problems.
  14. Just a quick gander at PK's Rosetta Stone and the only other file I can recommend checking is 'FireWeapon3.ogg' I'm sure there are others.
  15. You can always go through PK's Pigg Viewer steps, it's pretty quick and straight forward. I managed to do it since your last post and found the one SFX file you wanted. You just have to rename it and drop it into the appropriate folder. FireSword4.ogg
  16. Thanks for the shout out @Wavicle. 🙂 Sadly, I lost my library of unpackaged game SFX files for the game when my secondary drive took a dump.
  17. I am Santa Claus
  18. It would be interesting to hear an inside view on the game.
  19. It's a text file, so you can open it in Notepad.
  20. You can also go into the character's costume save file and decrease their height further. There is a cutoff for the minimum though I don't recall the exact number, it's buried in another thread somewhere around here.
  21. I first thought that too, but then figured this is a wish list, so what the hell. 🙂
