  1. Yeah, I've often tried to have a good reason for them to have a big aura or maybe one of the Held positions where they float off the ground in a big green haze, to make them easier to spot from a distance. Or the foes surrounding them.
  2. It's the Baby New Year map, because winter time is awesome.
  3. Yeah, instanced. I've done any number of MSRs and, unfortunately, missed any number as well due to my play time schedule. I know we still run them.
  4. I'd be happy to steal the idea, but I just can't with Water, I've tried twice and maybe it was just bad luck or something (sometimes toons just don't "click"), but the look of the set just doesn't work for me.
  5. I'm... not sure what you're saying here exactly, does that make me elitist? But this does raise a question I've been wondering: I don't think I've seen or been on an instanced MSR since I left Indom, and there weren't many there either back like 2 years ago. Seriously, none, not on Excel when I play anyway. How many people actually do them (OP aside, obvs. =)?
  6. Gah! They're as big as her head! They're as wide as her waist! She's got something in "huge" alright!
  7. This just sounds like more power creep to me, I don't think it's needed. If we were free of those effects, we might as well be fighting marshmallows.
  8. Everything in this game is good and viable to play, promise! You'll be fine. 😃
  9. This is just like "Dehydrated water: just add water"!
  10. You're already using it better and more thoughtfully than most of the other people I've PUGed with.
  11. With custom foes in AE, this would be a hard no. I've had some people come back to me after running one of mine who were rather sore that "this was waaaay too hard for my [AT][build]" etc. Plus, with how the AE is used by most players, odds are high you'd just end up in a farm. I don't ,mind the idea of a random mission behind a door though, maybe a nice and short thing like a radio/paper mission.
  12. Nope. I have a couple of stalkers I really like but they play very differently, and one's just as good as the other in their ways. I like how Doms play a lot as of late so I'm doing those, and playing each one is like "playing blackjack vs. playing a piano" different, and they're all great too to me.
  13. This is why I hate Fold Space, it almost always happens to me too when I'm on a team with someone who took that. Look folks, save it for your farm, don't use it when teaming unless you've talked about it at the very least; best to just not.
  14. I tend to respec every toon at least once these days, which I shouldn't ha ha, because yes they are a major production and a PITA. But it's rare that I have my build worked out 100% before diving in to play; and I have on occasion decided that I didn't like thois pool or needed that one slot somewhere else, so... I have more than once understood that I played around with the build as I was leveling too and "maybe I should respect to fix that?... Nah..."
  15. I had problems with this last night too. I though I'd heard it was ten exploration badges from anywhere, so my new toon gets all the ones in Atlas, then a few in Kings... wait why hasn't it popped up yet? Get a couple in Pocket D, still nothing... The Talos hill top... I swear to you had 14 to 16 exploration badges before it finally awarded, I literally counted them on my "exploration" badge list.
  16. I've usually got all that figured out - even the "do I bother keeping this character?" - by the time I've leveled to 50, which is why I prefer leveling normally. Whatever works for you though works, yeah.
  17. The fact that this is the one game that won't scold you for playing a petless MM is one of its strengths. Feature, not a bug. I'll say it again (and those coupla people will drop by to downvote me again, just watch), but I recently leveled a semi-petless MM (lion-only Beast/Storm) and never once got any grief or even a "huh?" for it. Every time I asked to join a PUG I'd let them know what I was running and no one cared.
  18. Huh, I was about half ready to try that name for a Psi Dom I made a little while ago... oh well, I'm happy with what I got.
  19. I would have too. I've no problem with petless MMs, but wow, you do have to know your settings. Some of the most face-planty-PUGs I've been on had to do with the ignorant choice of "OK, so now I'm 10th level, so everything goes +4/+8 from hereon out, right?"
  20. I may be both... or one of those I recently got TPed to the mission door on a redside PUG and the teleporter said "what the hell did I just TP?!" when I arrived.
  21. Thank you for the info, I always appreciate hearing from you. Level 1 makes a lot more sense than PLed level 50s. Now the fun question: how come Devs don't do something about that? 😃
  22. You and me both. It's not real Latin but anyways Illegitimi non carborundum.
  23. For any of that gate keeping nonsense: distance, one-star note them, block them. Life is so much better!
