  1. This is likely due to the easy access that we have to the Invention system we currently have in this game. As someone that converted over completely to Store-bought Origins (what you call Attuned nowadays) and actually paid money to avoid that old, completely craptastic Invention system, I could daily give thanks to whatever imaginary deity of your choice that the “old ways” are dead and buried. If people want to be Demi-gods, let them. With time, I’m certain the content will evolve along with us (so long as it’s more story content and less “Trials until we puke”).
  2. Any of the eight current actives that I play.
  3. I am in complete agreement with this for testing purposes. It will save quite a bit of time in the building process for different setups, particularly when there is a lot of variation to test (as I27 definitely had). We can call it the “Auto-slot” feature.
  4. Here’s one. Open Super Packs until the first ATO drops, then play the corresponding AT.
  5. Agreed. If you like the play style of either a Tanker, Brute or Scrapper, then make the said choice. The defense rests.
  6. Well, if you ever run a Rad without the debuff toggles (or mention “send a tell” while gathering a team in LFG and then not answer said tell😡), that is highly likely to induce a negative response.
  7. When HC first released The Snap, I was firmly in the camp that there was no reason to ever play a Tanker if a Brute exists. The following are the numbers of each melee AT that I posses both Pre and Post-Page 4: Tanker: Pre-1 (only to run at Tanker Tuesday), Post-9 (including a Fiery Melee retired until that set gets an update) Brute: Pre-9, Post-6 (including an Elec/Shield retiree and two converted into Tankers). Stalker: Pre-2, Post-4 Scrapper: Pre-2, Post-2 (including a Dark/Dark that was my very first character and never made it to 50 before HC and a Katana/WP for my Willpower complete set). It looks like it’s “why roll a Scrapper” from my side of the spectrum.😁
  8. Willpower - Steve Austin Bio Armor - Maskatron
  9. *Laughs in Willpower*
  10. We already have that. Just take T1/T2/T3 in Kinetic Melee and pretend you’re waving around a wiffle bat.
  11. Well, the “Brutes Sux!!!11!!” threads have shown up much sooner than I anticipated... The issue is simple: nerf damage procs. You’re welcome.
  12. And that was a weekly occurrence.🤣 After reading this thread, it’s clear that I will have to change my usual play style (full attuned IO build in trays/storage ready to go at level 1 to slot while playing) and go full SO Masochism to work on any future mission testing.
  13. “Ki Push-Kick of your choice-lots of bullets” is the preferred method, yes.😁
  14. Most Blaster melee attacks are places that Kinetic Combat goes into to finish capping Smashing/Lethal Defense. You’ll infrequently use them on teams (because almost everything is dead), however, then can come in handy while solo. Martial Combat, on the other hand, is so much crazy fun that you may find yourself sometimes using your range attacks as a secondary.😁
  15. This looks like a drinking game that leads to alcohol poisoning.
  16. No truce with the Circle of Thorns.
  17. Go out an buy a lottery ticket, because you just might have used up all of your bad luck with that one.
  18. And now I want to sell 32 hero merits worth of converters.
  19. I would be happy if the Day Jobs would sort in alphabetical order.
  20. Someday, there will be a “I have 1,000 characters!” post. Mine would be my namesake, a WP/KM Tanker, vet level 2,000,000.
  21. So, we rework Rage in Super Strength and just tell the Rage junkies to roll a Brute instead. Ultra, you’re a genius!
  22. Why roll a Scrapper? To have one for your full level 50 AT set.
  23. Nowadays, its so easy to foretell the future that anyone can do it.
