I am not sure if anyone is running that way. I have no idea code-wise how much work it would be to remove the incarnate slot requirement to queue for the various itrials. I think the lack of incarnate powers in running them would make support and CC/debuff much more valuable.

And out of the blue accusing me of being condescending is contributing what exactly to the topic at hand? If I am being defensive, it is due to being accused of being condescending to others simply by offering an alternative temporary solution as part of the discussion. I have already said repeatedly I think more incarnate content is needed. I have also suggested that removing the incarnate slot requirement to queue for incarnate trials might offer another level of difficulty and challenge. Feel free to disagree if you like. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

No, I am not saying that at all. You are assuming that. I am simply offering an idea. If they are using it already, great. If not, perhaps they will give it a try.

How is this any different than advertising for either speed or non-speed TFs? All specific AT TFs? All specific AT mission teams? Badge runs? Offering the suggestion of using available tools to find like minded players is a legitimate suggestion to improve the quality of play for someone. Suggesting my response is condescending is condescending to me. As for suggesting other options and ideas, I have done that in this post and others on the topic.

Both statements are exclusionary. I do not see why looking for others to run non incarnate power teams is somehow nefarious or negative.

I completely agree. At least to me, if we had much more content available for incarnates, it would make removing their use from the normal 45-50 content much less painful.

I am not sure I buy this. From what I am reading here in this thread and from others, there are quite a few people who would have no issue whatsoever unslotting incarnates to run a TF. Are they not the target audience? If people do not want to do that, then they do not have to and can find another team that suits their play style. I do not see advertising for no incarnate power teams being obtuse at all. It is no different than people forming all <insert AT here> TF runs. Seems to me there are people here who would jump at the chance to do it.

I can only speak for myself here, but if people want to create their own exclusive groups to run all the content they like without using incarnate powers, more power to them. I would not feel excluded at all. There are people advertising for non-speed TFs all the time and people are joining them. Why is it somehow more difficult to advertise no incarnate power teams? Long term I would agree more incarnate specific content is needed. In the interim, people can form their own groups to run any content without incarnate powers with like minded players.

No doubt. However, there is nothing stopping anyone from forming "no incarnate powers" teams and running any content they like. The perceived problem already has a very simple solution. It just seems some folk do not want to be bothered to do a minimal amount of effort to organize these.

It is not difficult to understand where anyone is coming from on either side of the perceived issue.

What content update is ever a complete "win"? There are always people who will like or dislike a change.

Some people are going to get upset no matter what anyone does. People who do not like the Incarnate system can skip it entirely or go and play something else, that is their choice. Quite clear there are people who enjoy having it in game and want it to remain. I am sure there were other reviews around the web who felt Incarnates were a great addition. There is no right or wrong answer. Yes, this is a small volunteer group and any new major content updates are unlikely. With that said, the problem here as I see it is that people do not want to do any work themselves. For those that do not like it, what exactly is preventing them from using the available tools in game, here on the forums or on social media to seek out like minded players? Form a group, team up together and play the way you want with no incarnate powers at all. The solution to the perceived problem is there, just no one wants to do what would be required to correct it. They would rather someone else do it for them or force everyone to play as they like. I can only speak to my experience here, but I have yet to see any "no incarnate powers" TFs advertised in LFG or any of the teaming channels.

What exactly is preventing you from using the available tools in game and here on the forums? Seek out like minded players, form a group, team up and run all the content how you like. You have plenty of tools available to do as much socializing as you want to. At least to me, this solves your perceived problem and there is zero development time required. You and others like you can play how you like and others can play how they like.
