My understanding from prior threads about this is that converting all the lower level NPC to scale from 1 to 50 would be a monumental undertaking. However, I personally think it would be worth the effort in the long run for the reasons @Zeraphia mentions above.
People standing at doors getting PLed was being done long before AE was ever introduced. Certain maps - like the Council portal map - were (and still are) used for farming and PLing.
This depends on your definition. Is someone who is level 35 to 40 joining a level 50 team for a +4x8 ITF run leaching?
I heartily endorse this as well. I wholeheartedly endorse a minimal/no FX option for all powers, including buffs from others. FX spam is out of control in my opinion.
Yes this is a problem sadly and an annoying one at that. You should be still able to select room sections by zooming in as far as possible right above them. I have had this problem before and zooming in or selecting the section from underneath can work.
I was thinking something along the lines of a proc chance on a couple of the powers. Something along the lines of the discussions of adding an Absorb proc into Resilience over in the Regen set.
Interesting idea. I wonder if something like having incoming enemy fire be reflected back at the attacker? Reflection may make for an interesting mechanic.
Depends on what other changes are made to the set before porting it over. The post I was replying to suggested SS would be OP due to stacking Rage. I simply offered a suggestion to possibly eliminate that concern. I was not saying this solitary change would fix everything.
Just my opinion here - this is a very pervasive problem here on these forums. It seems many people here have either lost or outright abandoned the ability to engage in discussion. Anyone disagreeing with a certain point of view are vilified. Not pointing out anyone specific here so please do not let that be taken as such.
As for the topic at hand, I agree with @Vanden - Paragon Dance Party was replaced with Pocket D and the old map should be left alone.
You could only have a level pact with 1 other person at a time. To my recollection, it was far, far less efficient a method to power level someone as well. You are much better off doing it the "old fashioned" way.
Same for me as well. I recently finished my main (Street Justice/Nin scrapper) and she can handle anything the game has at +4x8. However, as @Olly says, I do not run it all the time as it takes too long and becomes a chore after a while.
