  1. This is not universally true. Whatever is Meta today can and will change tomorrow.
  2. It also rings true that an experienced, hardcode PvPer without a Meta build can defeat others with using a Meta build. Since that is true, it negates your point entirely.

I will absolutely guarantee you an experienced, hardcore PvP player will outshine and dominate any new player regardless of what AT and power set combo they are playing at the time. You are also neglecting that building "meta builds" is something only a select few can do. Everyone is able to make them if they want to.
  4. Hardcore PvPers will always have an advantage over less skilled players. Homogenizing everything will not correct that.

  6. Saying the game is imbalanced because one set does more damage than another without taking into account other factors such as mitigation and secondary effects does not make it true.
  7. And what is the DPS for them when they are mezzed and/or completely drained of END? I grant you I am a novice at PvP, but I do know for sure there is more to it than straight damage - especially in a team setting.
  8. If this were true and following your logic, we would only ever see Fire blasters. This simply is not the case and people are indeed choosing what they want to play based on theme.
  9. I have no idea what server you are on, but I can say with confidence there is a great variety in ATs and power set combinations running about in RV here on Torchbearer. I do not see this great imbalance you are referring to.

  13. Why? It already has quite a lot of various symbols available. Flags are no different.
  14. The game should never be balanced around the needs of PvP in my opinion. Each set has its own utility and some combos will work better together than others.
  15. It seems to me you are neglecting to take into account different forms of mitigation. Fire is going to be more DoT whereas Electric is more END drain. Making everything the same makes everything less unique and bland in my opinion.

  17. This is just my own personal experience here, but getting rid of Null the Gull would still not entice me into playing villain side. Increased rewards would not entice me to do it either. I play this game to be the hero, not the villain. That is something which nothing suggested thus far will correct. It is not that the story content is horrible or the rewards not sufficient. I just do not want to play the villain. Most everyone I team with regularly feels the same to my knowledge. People seem to forget this was the case back when the game was live as well. Apart from launch of CoV, villain side was always far less in population.

  20. Coordinated teams can do multiple Kronos Titan spawns at the same time. As I heard it, there were 30 something of them in Boomtown at once last week.
  21. This, coupled with a Wind Control powerset would make my Le Petomane homage character truly complete.
