  1. This is my experience as well. Regen is a rarity at level 50 running TFs, Hami Raids and iTrials and such. I honestly cannot remember the last time I saw one on a league.
  2. Even with IOs and turning IH back into a toggle, Regen is still weak to overwhelming spike damage, DoTs and Recharge debuffs.
  3. Instant Healing as a toggle is never what overpowered the set. Regen was overpowered back in the day prior to ED when one could easily stack Dull Pain, perma MoG and six slot heals. What most people either forget or neglect to mention is that slotting this way gutted your offense. Putting IH back as a toggle is not going to overpower Regen again.
  4. No apology necessary. Pointing out and correcting inaccuracies in what was put forth in the original post is part of moving the discussion forward, especially since it seems like the OP was suggesting due to it being an unpopular choice. Regen needs work. This is my experience as well. Regen is still easily overwhelmed by incoming damage. Recharge rate debuffs are also quite deadly to the set that relies on click heals. I am not sure it really needs any -Regen resistance as it was pointed out earlier that so few enemy NPCs have -Regen in their arsenal. Personally, I think turning IH back into a toggle would make the set play much better in solo situations. I think you describe the main problem rather well - it is too busy a set.
  5. I was not trying to prove or disprove any premises. I simply stated that I believe the poster I was replying to misunderstood something. I see no reason to attack me for it.
  6. I agree with this. Having played a Regen scrapper prior to and post ED and the great Regen nerfs, I can honestly say Regen needs work. In my opinion it has become far too clicky a set. Putting IH back as a toggle would be a step in the right direction.
  7. No offense meant to you, but you are very much misunderstanding and misinterpreting what @Snowdaze posted. The OP made the claim implying that Regen is unpopular outside Sentinels. @Snowdaze linked to actual data from the Homecoming team showing that Regen is also very popular among Scrappers. This was done to show the OP is incorrect in their opening statement as the evidence clearly shows. It was not a claim about Regen being popular so therefore it must be good.
  8. Oh for sure it would be difficult. There are many bases pushing the item limit as well that get very laggy. Would be an interesting way to expand the city though.
  9. Following this idea, I wonder how difficult it would be to convert a base into a map that can be used for missions in AE?
  10. Good one! Vanguard Robots in RV are horrible too. They seem to love to get themselves stuck running into buildings. Scientists in Warburg are horrible as well.
  11. I agree. While Unstoppable is totally optional and from my experience most people skip taking it, there is a reason for skipping it and that is that it stinks as a power. By the time you obtain it, you do not really need it (if built well enough). Overall I think INV is fine. I would disagree it is a boring set that has little value.
  12. Seeding is not keeping the prices down though. Read the post from @Nanolathe. Seed price for white salvage is around 10,000 inf. Right now, most white salvage on the market goes for around 100 inf. That is not seeding making prices go down.
  13. I agree however there is no way to know what every individual would do for certain. Given that seeding is dependent upon players to keep prices reasonable, I still do not think it is a good idea unless everyone is willing to go back to the insane prices we had on live.
  14. Seeding does not keep prices low for salvage. Players providing white salvage to the market is what keeps the prices low. See the post here that @Nanolathe posted earlier in the thread. Saying that this will not affect the market is not accurate.
  15. Completely agree on both counts. EM was always a heavy hitter and personally I would love to see it return to that. Leave gimmicks to other sets.
  16. Could not agree more.
  17. Having leveled a Ninja/Dark MM to 50 recently I have to say I agree Masterminds stink lol. 😁
  18. Perhaps a silly question but did you place the active Pillar? I seem to remember there is an inactive one as well.
  19. Someone can have the opinion your idea is not worth the developer time while acknowledging it is up to the Homecoming staff to decide. These things are not mutually exclusive of each other. There are many ideas and suggestions posted on these forums that can benefit everyone. That does not mean all of them can or should or ever will be done.
  20. I like this idea. Star Trek Online has a similar system with re-engineering. Not sure how feasible it is to do here, but definitely could lead to some interesting combinations.
  21. Apologies as my comment was not directed at you personally. I should have clarified that. It is more a general statement as there are quite a lot of people here lately who seem to forget that people have different opinions and only want to listen to people who agree with their ideas.
  22. Part of that game is also people berating and criticizing others who dare to disagree with their idea. That door swings both ways.
  23. Nor does stating opinion.
  24. This is still reliant upon players adding things to the auction house.
