I took Provoke on my Arch/Temp Blaster for shits and giggles, even though I knew it was considered wrong, thinking it could be interesting. But Provoke sucks and I can't pull aggro from the Tanks or Brutes for anything. The only time it's really worked is when I ran an all Blaster ITF, and all it really did there was get me debt. I was very disappointed in myself.
The lack of taunt aura does indeed cause them to run out of the burn patch. For that reason my personal experience is that my Ice/Fire Blaster is significantly faster than my old Spines/Fire Scrapper. Sure the scatter from my Blaster too, but Hot Feet and the Ice rains help slow the mobs down.
What about simply giving Tanks most/all the ranged attack sets, similar to Sentinels. Sure they'd do less damage Sentinels, but they'd still be Tanks with all the res, HP, and aggro management. That would put them in a unique position. Not sure how well that would work, or if anyone wants this, just throwing it out there.
Your reasoning can be summed up as since you don't like it, it should be removed despite the fact that there are people that do like it. That is a terrible opinion and one that should not be entertained by anybody, especially people that make decisions on the future of this game.
If such a toggle is made, I think it should be a pool power of some type. Powerset changing options having a cost(in this case a pool and power choice) is consistent with the game and the way it plays and is designed.
What examples do we have of this happening? Don't get me wrong, I'm not pushing for an instant 50 button, but I'm curious what games have actually tried something like this.
Ice/Fire Blaster
2:09 for 425 DPS, hit this number three times in a row
T4 Assault Core Hybrid
T4 Musculature Core Alpha
T4 Degenerative Core Flawless Interface
T3 Cryonic Total Core Judgement
T3 Ageless Partial Core Invocation
Chain used was Bitter Ice Blast - Freeze Ray - Fire Sword, with Blizzard thrown in when it was ready. Hot Feet and Cauterizing Aura toggled on.
Do yall think Burn would help or hurt the time?
I'd absolutely play this set and I also prefer knock up and knock down over knock back for the obvious reasons. But..................I'd love just one KB power to really send an enemy flying.
Good suggestion. But I have a question, why is /ah disabled in PvP zones? I feel like having the auction window open would just hinder the person playing, and that would be their fault. I'm not against it being disabled, just curious as the reason.
If most people are perceiving your comments that way, as appears to be the case, then that means you did a poor job communicating. If you want people to perceive your comments in a different way, then present them in a different way. That is 100% on you.
Moving on to a non ridiculous subject, Wind Power looks cool! But................NO knockback powers!?!?!?!? Hey I get people aren't a big fan of KB, but I feel at least one KB power makes sense.
This is a great suggestion, and a buddy and I have done both, the Time/ versions more recently. Very powerful, but doing this with Time was more click heavy than we liked. We enjoyed our duo Cold defenders a lot more, but it's been so long that I don't recall how click heavy that duo was.
It should take shorter working a niche, but it doesn't for me because I don't bid on salvage until I have the recipe. If I start bidding on both at the same time, then yes it likely would take less time. Time to rethink my approach.
How well or poorly one person handles anxiety/worry/stress/etc is in no way relevant to how another person does or can.
I have no opinion on the argument at hand, but I feel I should point this out because it is important.
