  1. No you don't. You have less than 8,000 . . . right? Then you don't have too many!
  2. Impervium-reinforced talsorian blades? https://hcwiki.cityofheroes.dev/wiki/Weapon_Customization#Historical
  3. Ah, yes; there we go. +40% of it, by the looks of it . . . but it also gives +20% strength to Recharge. I'm now curious if Resistance to Recharge has any kind of effect on -positive- Recharge Buffs that aren't flagged as Unresistable. What's the math on that? . . . @Bopper?
  4. Godspeed, @Night. May your thread be eternally free of pointless memes! As for -Recharge Resistance? Does that exist as a thing already? I'm having trouble thinking of an existing Power off the top of my head in-game which does that.
  5. Taunt War? . . . . . . Then they also need Hard Capped AoE Defense too, don't they? Lest they all just go "SPLOP!" from one Nova or Blackstar.
  6. And more equality coming soon, if @Piecemeal gets their way!
  7. Of course, acknowledgement of a mod in that way is potentially tantamount to an endorsement from the Homecoming Team . . . and that doesn't strike me as their style right now. Which is why I proposed going the step further and actually committing to integration. The skill and willingness is clearly present on one end of the equation! Great things are possible. Just remains to be seen if we can actually make the necessary steps.
  8. Hopefully @Piecemeal will be able to use the Dev-level model scalars to REALLY beef the female Warriors up to the appropriate athletic body types.
  9. Develop a more robust language to describe the sorts of teams we're looking for so that people can have more confidence about forming a team which they are comfortable leading and won't feel as much pressure at the possibility of a player saying "I didn't sign up for this." . . . that's quite the run-on sentence, but I hope I was still clear.
  10. Nice, @EmperorSteele. But give those ladies some beef, though! Bulk up them arms and musculature! Reduce the leg length to give the appearance of larger upper body strength! Make them strike fear in to the hearts of any who dare to challenge them in combat!
  11. *resists urge to crack a joke about jerking things* *fails* . . . sorrynotsorry!
  12. I apologize, @Solarverse. I misinterpreted your initial post, allowing our past conversations to pre-emptively bias my perception of what you were saying. I'm sorry. And . . . I'm disappointed too. Not with that particular sound effect, nor with the lack of interest in your mods or @The Philotic Knight's . . . which are both lamentable for their own reasons. But rather I am disappointed by the fact that the Devs haven't worked with you two (and all the other hard-working community members who provide similar services) to integrate such important features as content customization in to the game itself. Now, of course, I understand that there are some mitigating factors which complicate things. Foremost, assumably and likely, due to the nature of this being a pirate operation where there's a desire not to poke the sleeping bear of ncsoft when it comes to revealing what is still legally protected code and assets. Secondarily, and more irksomely, there seems to be a very nebulous and questionable system at play in regard to ownership and rights of original code and assets being created by the volunteers. I've heard some disturbing rumours about how that stuff is being handled, and that's very disappointing to me. I hope the rumours are incorrect . . . but I've seen no evidence to contradict them. Third, there's a limit on time and energy, and recruiting and training members of the community takes considerable time and energy. . . . of course, there are ways to seriously mitigate that cost, which I'm still struggling to find the way to effectively encourage the Team to further explore. And fourth . . . And this one probably applies to me too, so I'm not blind to the potential appearance of hypocrisy . . . The Devs are human beings, with personal feelings and opinions, and generally don't like to be upset. So, even when someone explicitly provokes you, or you misinterpret someone's actions as a provocation, and then respond with an escalation . . . then it very likely makes the Devs disinclined to cooperate and share freely. And that one's on us. We've got to step up and be better. Even if the first, second, and third issues don't or can't be resolved, we can at least strive toward bettering ourselves. Conducting ourselves professionally. Or failing that, courteously. Even in the face of our own personal feelings and opinions. I think the mods you've been working on enrich the community, and I would like to encourage you to continue sharing them. A break from things here might be refreshing, but I hope you consider returning if you do end up stepping away.
  13. Not to be -totally- insensitive, but . . . What are you even doing on facebook to begin with? (Sorry for snarking, but mayhaps the silver lining here is to take this an the impetus to get the hell away from that website with all due haste.)
  14. I read that wrong that first. Very, VERY wrong.
  15. Updated to include @OctoberRaven's post.
  16. Well, they -do- learn! . . . they just tend to learn the wrong things. Edit: The amount that they say about City of Heroes is pretty limited. Around 10:35 the interviewer asks about City of Heroes in the context of XBox, to which the two Cryptic devs seem confused, eventually saying that Paragon Studio took over before anything related to XBox and City of Heroes happened. A little later at 19:00 they talk about rabid fans versus broad appeal, and state that City of Heroes has -the- rabid fanbase, citing the bootleg servers as evidence of this. And that's about it. I was honestly hoping to hear a little bit more on their feelings related to City of Heroes. They spoke at length about Star Trek. Although, they also seemed to be talking as if this was an interview from ten years ago. I suppose I'll be charitable and assume that was them mostly filtering for IGN (somewhat ironic, given the name of this IGN show is "Unfiltered"). I'd be interested in seeing what they'd say down at the pub instead, when the cameras aren't on and they're a few pints in.
  17. I am a bit disappointed you didn't call yourself "The Vahzealot."
  18. Would be great! With the minor problem of Rocket Board/Magic Carpet/et cetera: Those don't have any attack animations tied to them. The board/carpet/et cetera would constantly disappear and reappear while using Powers, OR the Powers wouldn't animate while the player-character remains static on the "vehicle." As usual, I don't mind, frankly . . . but there does seem to be a strong push against that sort of thing on Homecoming.
  19. I mean . . . if someone can get /costume_ignore up and running, then it should (theoretically) not be too much of a stretch to also set up a /unignore_NPC_costume command too. Then set that to default as flagging the NPC costume pieces as invisible/defaulted while worn by a player-character. Hence preventing new players from getting confusing visual information while simultaneously allowing all players the opportunity to finally get what we truly need. More Options is Best Options!
  20. . . . honestly I was looking for a good meme image for Roland and his healing bullets . . . but Dr. Zed says it best.
  21. Robogirls? Clearly I missed that trend. Only one I remember seeing much of was @Latex. Demons (Succubi especially) never seem to go out of season. Or at the very least, they were popular on Pinnacle during the Retail/Legacy years.
  22. I'll do you one better, @Haijinx: I remember when there was -no- prep work, other than making your first costume and arranging your one or two Powers on the Tray. But, yeah. If not a full Null the Gull (as, naturally, we wouldn't be able to have someone changing to the Villain alignment while standing in Atlas Park . . . yet), then maybe a dull Null who just does the very basics of certain preferences. Such as the Server Tray and Group Fly preferences.
  23. Oof, yeah. I didn't click on the links until just now, and yeah. They aren't rendering properly on my browser (Opera). Does one need to purchase a Spotify subscription to gain access to these playlists?
  24. People laugh, but . . . why not? We've had weirder stuff in this universe. I mean, there's a laundry list of Sets which I think should happen first, but if we get to the point where Carp Melee is finally on the table, then Heal of Bullets should be right behind it.
  25. Also (since my other post could potentially be seen as walking a tightrope, and may go "poof") . . . I believe your thread was moved to this board because it constitutes Feedback, @Solarverse. Just a guess.
