  1. Wow. I thought this was going to be one of those where someone claims 15 min and it takes twice that. I burned through in 10 on my brute once I got the missions down. I have been starting my own collection of lore pets now thanks to this.
  2. Simply put because you can't build them the exact same way. If I built Havoc Punch into the rotation (the single best melee attack except maybe Knockout Blow), I'd get about 15 DPS extra max. Because Fire's highest DPS attacks are both quick animating/recharging and a good deal stronger than the analogous ability in Energy, and because Fire's attacks only have access to the ST ranged damage IO set pool (which has a dearth of procs, let alone good ones) if it wants to find a PPM mule with a slow recharge, it needs to go into an epic pool. It's worth understanding that just like Focused Power Blast, Dominate is not actually a high DPA move naturally but can be frankenslotted up there on the strength of its recharge and then made fast recharging through global recharge. This person's fire build without the melee attack is still 300ish DPS on the pylon. Thank you for the clarification. That makes more sense with all the information.
  3. Why are you including 2 high DPA epic/patron powers in the Fire attack chain and not in the Energy attack chain? That makes it look like you are padding the numbers for Fire in order to make your point when they are closer than you make them appear. Not saying I don't agree, but that is not the best way to prove your point.
  4. Working as intended. After around 65% it drops just as fast as it is added for the most part.
  5. Rad/Sonic or Dark/Sonic are both great AV melters on teams. Sometimes people forget you don't have to have dead teammates to use Howling Twilight which is -500% regen. Your heal is stupidly OP so you can spend more time attacking but if you do need to cast a heal that is another -50% regen and then you have your Dark Servant around also casting the same heal. Then with Tar Patch combined with Sonic attacks you can have a solid -70 to -90% damage resist debuff running if you are attacking full time.
  6. The hard part for anyone else on the team would be staying alive. If they are leveling as well, they are probably not going to survive long if they grab aggro. And on fire farm maps with stuff wandering everywhere they are going to grab aggro eventually even if they are careful unless they are just guarding the door (even that is not always safe). They could do something crazy like Ill/Dark controller I suppose and stay invisible for the most part while throwing out a big tar patch once you have everything in a big group. I know you can attack while using superior invis but not sure how well it keeps aggro off of you once you start attacking.
  7. Wow SenkanYamato. That is a very creative way of coming up with capped fire defense. It is a bit of a pig on the endurance side but Ageless should be able to take care of any issues there. I would hate to have to take this outside of AE content as there is no travel power and no knockback protection, but on fire farms it looks like a beast.
  8. I like the idea of stacking resist debuffs. As long as it is set to a reasonable level, it would make multiple tanks more attractive on teams. Right now if you have 2 tanks on a team and have 7 people ready to go on a TF, the last thing you want in that last spot is another tank. But if all 3 of those were constantly debuffing resistance by around 7-10% each (average, not per hit) then suddenly it's not so bad. I would also like to see the -range on taunt increased on tanks to force mobs near melee range instead of just somewhat closer. Basically their taunts are so powerful it causes the enemy to be so focused on the tank that they are not able to defend themselves as well against other attacks which only magnifies when there are more tanks.
  9. Display error. I've had bids for things that are 25 mill normally and I just throw up whatever amount I have and go farm some more. I come back and see some say they were sold for hundreds when I had a bid in for several million but did not win the bid.
  10. Outside of fire farms, fire armor is pretty squishie while leveling up. In fire farms you defense mostly comes from inspirations. Once you get to 50 and can get some set bonuses for fire defense you can use fewer lucks. A duo in a fire farm would likely be another /Fire as most everything else dies quickly without capped fire resists.
  11. The aggro cap cannot be changed for different ATs. And no. It's fine as is. This is coming from someone who farms frequently and would benefit from it being higher.
  12. Capped Fire Defense, perma Hasten when you factor in Ageless. I'm sure there are better builds out there that make use of -resist procs but this works pretty well for me to get into the 4-5 min mark per run while being lazy and not totally focusing on doing max damage with every Throw Spines use. Went Agility vs Musc because if you use a macro to combine and use inspirations you can get at the damage cap for the majority of the time each run and at that point, Musc is useless. Ion as it hits nearby groups as well. Not sure on Interface how well the -HP works on farms. I know it does great with AVs but unsure if it is better vs Bosses compared to damage procs. 13. Me too. Had no clue what it was at the time.
  14. Not against it but it is fine as is. Drops have already been increased vs live and you can buy purples for 25 mill already crafted vs over 10x as much back on live.
  15. It all depends on how they set it up way back with I13. I know they can modify how powers work but not sure they can remove things on one side and not the other. Sure they could change the to hit to 0 but it would from a programming standpoint still have an effect on others. That effect would be a 0% debuff but the game would likely still detoggle you. Can they make it so that the to hit debuff is simply removed entirely in pvp? Maybe. Odds of that happening. Slim to none.
  16. Got 3 out of 3 runs last night. That is after going several days with none. It's all random.
  17. ET doesn't do enough damage to yourself to matter on a high regen set like /WP. The main issue is the long cast times on the 2 biggest attacks and lack of decent aoe. This makes you feel pretty useless on teams outside of AV fights. On a full team by the time you finish Total Focus your target is dead or to the point where energy punch would have been just as effective.
  18. That would turn my KB support Defender into a huge damage boost for the team. Pop Sonic Repulsion on the tank and let him go to town. 19. That is one of the most unplayable builds I have ever seen. Sure it may be hard to kill if you are facing S/L mobs but you should be doing more than Taunt....footstomp....KO Blow.....Footstomp. You 6 slotted Rage and took Focused Accuracy and 6 slotted it as well. 1 recharge in Rage is all that is needed and you will be hitting +4 mobs 95% of the time. Those slots can be put to better use elsewhere. Then you took Handclap......Handclap.....on a /WP....I can see taking it as a filler for a set bonus but you stopped at 4 slots on the purple set which means you went that far just for the accuracy bonus which is by far overkill because your to hit is already through the roof. You used the 5th slot for more knockback which is the last thing a /WP brute wants as that will floor their regen.
  20. And? Would you be willing to give up the -to hit feature just so you can enjoy the set in PvP? Do you think others are willing to give that up as well if you are?
  21. Even though I could have my SS run at perma double rage (after the first 60 seconds anyway) I normally don't bother. Teams have enough buffs that stuff dies fast enough anyway and when farming I have plenty of reds pouring in to keep me near the damage cap already. The only time I do is if I have 3 or more SG buddies door sitting while I PL them and that slows down the inspiration drops quite a bit.
  22. Incorrect. This happens in pve as well if you get stunned or held. So because of the fact that toggles that have an effect on others detoggle when you get held or stunned ect the easiest way to make it stop doing that would be to remove the -to hit. Does that seem acceptable?
  23. Why does it detoggle? And no I play almost exclusively melee.
  24. 3 buttons is too much with LFG?
  25. Your choice. Leaving xp on allows you an easier path to incarnate xp and allows you to get all the way to tier 4 for every slot without ever doing any incarnate trials. If you plan on going the long way and doing the trials then turning off xp will get you more cash.
