  1. For sets that have +HP go with Spiritual for alpha. The recharge is great and the bonus to heal adds even more HP to sets like Bio or WP. Otherwise agility is best most of the time. You can go for more damage but personally I would rather attack more often for slightly less damage each time than hit slightly harder but not have a fluid attack chain. Now if you have a fluid chain and have no end issues then musc is the way to go.
  2. Yes Comic Con farm. 5 min is pretty normal but can be less if you get lucky and the helper security guard is in the middle.
  3. AAO gives + damage depending on how many mobs are around you. +Damage works much better on a scrapper vs brute. The only real difference between an identical /Shield scrapper and brute is the scrapper will kill faster but have lower HP.
  4. I started out with just standard IO/SOs and skipped the extra cost of starting with a cheep IO build then moving to something more expensive. I started with building the unique IOs, then adding some fire defense with Mocking Beratement and Aegis and filling out Combat Jumping and Weave. Then I worked on the winter sets to add even more fire defense. Once you only need 1 or 2 lucks at a time to get by that gives you more room for making and popping reds. If you first get the targeted AOE set, and did the rest that puts you at around 35% defense where just 1 small luck is plenty. Once you get around 40% you don't really need to use lucks anymore. I ignored purple IO unless they dropped while farming and with converting any that dropped into what I needed, I only had to buy 1 or 2.
  5. If you have unrelenting, yes you went too far with defense.
  6. WM/EA. It is both strong and pretty.
  7. With just SOs or regular IOs they would still be pretty sqhishie. With set bonuses and Incarnates they would be pretty unstoppable. Like imagine capped HP, heal up every 15 seconds but not needed because they are also at the regen cap.
  8. 50. Makes getting those first veteran levels much faster as you can no longer benefit from double xp boosters.
  9. I rarely say this but you are better off on a Scrapper with the same build.
  10. Hadn't done a whole lot of research on the stats and thought that hitting twice sounded good. Little did I know it was only hitting the 2nd time for base damage instead of full damage. Should have known it sounded too good to be true. Now that I finally got tier 4 on everything else Ill probably use my future merits to get Core. Also some other tweaks that I missed. I have the procs instead of damage for ranged and pbaoe purple sets.
  11. Popping reds and with good placement of the helper to aggro more my Rad/Fire gets done in around 4:30. Same set up my Spines/Fire gets just under 5 min. Both are fully IOed out builds. The only beef I have with the set is that Irradiated Ground will not take brute sets. That leaves me having to slot Avalanche there and the KB proc can sometimes hit several times at once, similar to burn sometimes causing mobs to fly out of melee range. Note this is only a pure farmer and high level content build. I took it on the lower level TFs to get the Task Force commander accolade and it was painful. A lot of standing around waiting for my 1 melee attack to charge and waiting for my damage aruas to melt stuff. I had to drag out the temp prestige attack powers and brawl just to give myself something to do. For those single bosses who run off I still have Radioactive Smash, Burn and Mu Lightning. I run with sprint on with no endurance issues. Hero Plan by Mids' Hero Designer 2.22 http://www.cohplanner.com/ Click this DataLink to open the build! 12. This is why we need EM and stone armor on scrappers.
  13. I am totally for this but only if players have the same rules. Total 100% unreristable imob on players and mobs once in melee range until one is dead.
  14. Funner? Is that gooder than fun? On a related note yes. More EB and AV fights in story arcs with groups. All the arcs are scripted as to where you go and what you fight. Not sure where to find the most interesting arcs though.
  15. If you can manage the end issues and the painfully slow animation times every few seconds TW/Bio is a killing machine.
  16. Sure but you have to have the same lower damage on all your other attacks.
  17. WP and Shield and Bio should use Spiritual for alpha. High recharge plus the heal adds more HP on those sets.
  18. Any time at or after 35 change to a villain by talking to Null the Gull in pocket D. Then go talk to Arbiter Rein and take his mission. Pick Black Scorpion as that is the easiest. Once you finish the short 5 mission arc you can respec and pick any patron you wish. Then you can go back to pocket D and become a hero again. Once unlocked they stay unlocked regardless of what side you are on.
  19. https://forums.homecomingservers.com/index.php/topic,5544.0.html Posted my farm build for a friend here. No inspirations needed.
  20. BS. There's THREE powers that buff ally defense. Out of NINE. Would you say you "primarily sleep" because you spend a third of your life sleeping? People spend less than 1/3 of their lives working and are often defined by what they do for a living.
  21. At work so can't see the numbers but if money isn't an issue then you can get the ATos. One has recharge plus decent melee defense. Can also go with agility for more recharge and a little more defense as well instead of cardiac. Although I would recommend spiritual as you get even more recharge and the +heal gives more HP to shield
  22. Having issues importing data chunks as well.
  23. Also if you are not committed to Reactive Defense you can drop that slot for a little bit faster recharge on FE.
  24. The exact same complaints are what got us I13.
