I think what arcane is trying to say is "it's hard to pick out what type of control your proposed Energy Control set specializes in". Question: What do you want it to be really good at? The Wind set below has so many types of controls but it does have some specialties. The Darkness set has more obvious specialties in -tohit backed by imob, & hold. Wind Control Power Level Effect Updraft 1 Ranged, Moderate DMG (Smashing), Knockup(Foe), -Fly(Foe), Pressure Builder (Self) Downdraft 1 Ranged, Hold(Foe), -Movement(Foe), -Rech(Foe), -Fly(Foe), Pressure Builder (Self) Breathless 2 Ranged (Targeted AoE), Minor DMG (Lethal), Immobilize (Foe), -DMG(Foe, All), +EndCost(Foe, PvP), Consumes Pressure Wind Shear 6 PBAoE (Toggle), -Speed (Foe, All), -Fly(Foe), -ToHit(Foe), -DMG(Foe, All) Thundergust 8 Ranged (Cone), Minor DMG(Smashing), Knockdown(Foe), -ToHit(Foe), Pressure Builder (Self) Microburst 12 Ranged (Targeted AoE), Minor DMG(Smashing), Stun(Foe), -Speed(Foe, All), -Fly(Foe), -Rech(Foe), Chance for -DEF(Foe, All), Consumes Pressure Keening Winds 18 Ranged (Targeted AoE), Confuse(Foe), EndDrain(Foe), +End(Self) Vacuum 26 Ranged (Targeted AoE), Hold (Foe), Moderate DoT (Lethal), -Movement(Foe), -Rech(Foe), -ToHit(Foe), Special(Pet), Pressure Consumer (Self) Vortex 32 Summon Vortex Darkness Control (lots of -To Hit, two each Immob and Hold) Power Level Effect Shadowy Binds 1 Ranged, Moderate DoT(Neg), Foe Immob, -To Hit, -Fly Dark Grasp 1 Ranged, Moderate DMG(Neg), Foe Hold, -To Hit Living Shadows 2 Ranged (Cone), Minor DoT(Neg), Foe Immob, -To Hit, -Fly Possess 6 Ranged, Target Confuse Fearsome Stare 8 Ranged (Cone), Foe Fear, -To Hit Heart of Darkness 12 PBAoE, Foe Disorient, -To Hit, Minor DoT(Neg) Haunt 18 Summon Shades: Ranged Shadow Field 22 Ranged (Location AoE), Foe Hold, -To Hit Umbra Beast 26 Summon Umbra Beast

https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Recipe I believe the information in the link above is still accurate. The drop rate for the Very Rare Purple Recipes has been reported to be anywhere from 1 in 1,500 to 1 in 5,000 chance to drop. These were added to the Pool A drops, but we don't know the ratio they are set to appear compared to Common, Uncommon, and Rare Recipes. They drop only from foes that would ordinarily have a chance to drop a level 50 enhancement, so a level 47 minion, a level 46 lieutenant, etc. An easy way to tell if an enemy might drop a purple recipe is if it cons green or better to a level 50 character. Sooo Purples = Pool A drops Only drop as level 50 recipes The enemy's rank affects how likely it is to drop a recipe, with higher ranks giving higher chances (bosses more so than lieutenants, for example). Any critter that is capable of dropping a level 50 IO has a chance to drop a "purple". This includes, but is not limited to, level 47 minions, level 46 lieutenants, and etcetera. Giant Monsters, Monsters, and Underlings will never drop a "purple" To answer your questions, yes to faster and no to difficulty (for purples).

Looks like @Snarky has been staying busy.

Yes. There are better options for more experience but the concentration of targets in AE can be tough to beat. also "There are several ways a player may boost their character's experience gain:" A character that has accrued Patrol Experience will receive a 50% boost in XP until the Patrol XP runs out. The START vendors in Atlas Park, Mercy Island, and Nova Praetoria offer various experience boosters as a gift from the game developers Certain temporary powers https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Patrol_Experience https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/S.T.A.R.T. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Experience https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Arachnos_Agent_Badge https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Experience

wait.. Singularity as in black hole? or A hypothesized singularity of infinite density before quantum fluctuations caused the Big Bang and subsequent inflation that created the Universe. or Point of uncontrollable and irreversible technological growth, resulting in unforeseeable consequences for human civilization. @Snarky

Doors are a challenge. Selectable objects as well. We can use something like slash command /interact to "Interact with an object or entity in front of the player using a keyboard key (equivalent to left-click on object)" Teleport can be done with binds with good success.

Refining preference over time you'll get it how you prefer. I do ramp up the turning speed. Menu > Options > Controls > Control Sensitivity > Turning (set to 400) These are super helpful: R3 = Next Target (allows cycling through targets) L3 = Nearest target (resets the cycling to the nearest target) For the thumb sticks there is some nuance. I don't do 'wasd' on the left, only 'ws'. Reason: A lot of the tunnels have a little jog left and jog right which are easier to strafe than turn. Left thumb-stick Forward Back Strafe Left (not turn) Strafe Right Clicking or Pushing it = Nearest target Right thumb-stick Forward = Look Down Back - Look Up Turn Left Turn Right Clicking or Pushing it = Next target Helpful wiki link; https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/The_Players'_Guide_to_the_Cities/User_Interface/Options_Window

Using a controller.. I use a PS2. The Logitech's are similar. A stalker might be a good fit. Take placate. You'll be hidden until you don't want to be hidden and Placate makes it so you can hide again. 1-8 noted below correspond to tray positions 8 is usually my build up spot on tray 1 and hasten on tray 2 X = Jump L3 = Nearest target R3 = Next Target Directional ^ = Follow Directional < = Switch Tray (I just use this for tray 1 now) Directional > = Switch Tray (I just use this for tray 2 now) Directional v = Cancel Power Select = Map One stick is for movement the other is to look around (I flip the look up/down opposite of the default)

One could suggest employing high level verbal sparing or a quick wit paired with tongue n cheek sarcasm to fend off those wielding pitchforks and torches. As a further reference: Necromancy - Time Manipulation Mastermind - Necromancy - Time Manipulation.mxd credit: @Snarky

To sate the lust of power; more horrid still, The foulest stain and scandal of our nature Became its boast — One Murder made a Villain, Millions a Hero. — Princes were privileg’d To kill, and numbers sanctified the crime. Soooo how many youths would it take? I'm just kidding, I was just surprised to get quoted here.

Sometimes we read a post and think "this is some crazy shit and I can't stop reading it!" or "this is some good stuff, more please." Boom.. this covers both: sometimes it can be used ironically...... Even made one once: There are soooo many good memes and funny pics out there. We can assume some skill is involved in picking just the right one for the context. For general discussion: Do these bring any value to the topics debated on these forums? Do they make concise points? Should tankers get Energy Aura? Also for debate and with thoughts of those who have left this forum behind: Should tagging @Snarky in posts of a thread like this be considered good clean fun or something more sinister? Lastly: Can anyone point me to the mini pet images? Can't find em, I'd like to preview 'em and it seems dumb I can not find them. mystery solved Got a good one to share? Just want to @Snarky?
