IF you have the extra slots, sure. They are not as needed once you have Siphon Speed. If you're a repel user currently and you like it, sure. I wouldn't take it. Repel and Inertial Reduction tend to be the skippables.

I'm going to have to watch this again.

Sounds pretty creative. I like the idea of leveraging Gladiators somewhere/somehow.

Add some bad or just-for-fun sets to the game
Troo replied to Troo's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
A simple description or label would be fair. The availability of such sets does not have to be available to a new account. I would propose that anything deemed as 'fun' to a percentage of a player base qualifies as 'great game design'. Not everyone enjoys base building, not everyone enjoys pvp, not everyone enjoys endgame min/maxing. Is your position that any development on these should not happen because they are more niche aspects of the game? New power sets might not need to be limited to 'highly tuned' death machines. I would support more freedom in power set design. I would exchange requirements that new power sets 'measure up'. (with powerful sets there's a need to balance, avoid overpowered uberness, and advert potential abuse) I would like to see more creativity released into the wild and see what happens. Folks have long discussed alternate paths to defeating targets. Endurance drain is one, Impact from being knocked into something is another. It's possible something interesting could develop with more creative, fun focused, or challenge power sets. -
Seems like a good idea in some fashion.

Grosses Domestic (48.2%) $166,130,763 International (51.8%) $178,401,643 Worldwide $344,532,406 Not bad for a reboot crammed with so much new material/concepts that it is a bit of a blur. Nice reset for Thunderbolts and potentially the next projects. I was entertained. Sure I was hoping it would be even better but the biggest let down is how much a drink and popcorn costs which is more likely to lead me to watch more things at home.

I see what you are saying. I was looking at this in the context the original poster laid out (see quote below). More of a surgical removal of the boss and minions from a large room with many groups. "Its literally just smacking up a specific mob." you seemed to answer your own question. Defeating a specific target is one of the mission types. While there may be little to no tactics on a steamroll there can absolutely be tactics involved when solo on say a single target specialist playing at a higher difficulty or on a less than character. As always, it's just my opinion given as feedback to the suggestion not as a rebuke. Keep suggestions coming!

While we often have requests for set improvement or addition of epic level sets, how about some just for fun or challenge? Clown MMs is a common request. Why not, but don't worry about making it good. Could we have a three propel set with tazer and char that uses rotten fruit and vegetables in the names and animations? More Fun / Less Min-Max !! (Troo knows this is a great idea, no kudos needed)

@DrRocket I'd be onboard with some selective time sync reduction but not removal. Some of the labeled "time syncs" are immersion while others are tactical. "making players traveling across zones" Immersion, while I believe there is no need for Numina level zone changing anymore. "kill all mobs" It is a reasonable ask that it be all-but-one or targets showing on maps when at 95%. (I don't need this) "kill the boss and his guards" Tactical part of the game with see above Kill all mobs room for improvement. "when mobs that have Moment of Glory which I refer to "way too long moment of boredom" really needs to go" Tactical aspect of the game, players should know how to counter (hold, disorient, spike, +ToHit, or wait) "running mobs, really is this needed at all?" Tactical aspect of the game, players should know how to counter. (immob, stun, hold, slow, taunt, knock, teaming, ranged attacks, and on & on)

Just slipped that in to see who's paying attention.

The Edward Norton one with Liv Tyler and Tim Roth? I really wanted to like it more but just didn't, which is okay.

I am looking forward to seeing Brave New World today (before it exits the theater Thursday). My expectations are tempered and I am hoping there are only a few in attendance. While you are asking Battlewraith, I'll chime in with The Incredible Hulk (2008) was my least favorite. I 100% agree with your solid point; phase one and two were full of pretty good can't miss stuff. Even phase three. Consumers might need to get acclimated to a reality where these settle at certain level with the occasional big hit. Not everyone is going to like Deadpool or Dr Strange and thats okay.

@Ghost That's the way I'm leaning,.. while not committing. I went with picking one of each franchise rather than say multiple Captain Americas.
