Marine X

I sometimes run my Farmer ( Radiation Melee/Fiery Aura/Pyre Brute ) Sonny Burns at +4x8 being played Manually, with my Main Tank ( Invulnerable/Super Strength ) Marine X set to follow him with Foot Stomp on Auto, and Maneuvers and Tactics on. I can't say if there are any changes to the earnings but it goes much quicker. It is also a lot more fun to watch the COS Players flying all over the place when Foot Stomp activates. Marine really doesn't seem to have any difficulty with Survivability and also helps split the Aggro with Sonny, which allows me to relax and enjoy the Mayhem. EDIT: This inspired me to create Sonny an actual sidekick, a Spines/Fiery Aura Brute aptly named " Kabob ", and they say all the good names are taken, hmmf.

If you are using the Forum Account Name and password to log in, that's the issue, you need to go to the "Account" tab at the top of the page and create a Game Account User Name and Password for your 2nd account in order to log into the game. Good Hunting.

It was good back in 2020 when I last updated it ( oops. that was the old forums, lol ) I also need to edit Galaxy to be Echo; Galaxy, have to do it at work where I have a PDF editor that can edit the hyperlink and update the rest. Also later on there will be missions where you are given a disguise and need to enter 3 bases looking for the PCM, easiest entry point for those is to go to Freight Lift H, look for a Dead tree nearby, you will find an Arachnos Tunnels entrance just below it. ( also, when wearing the Arachnos Disguise, remember to turn off any kind of AOE, Taunt or Presence auras, or the disguise does not work at all, Good Hunting. )

Welcome to Homecoming. You should have an Icon for the Homecoming Launcher, it will not say COH. If not, go to your hard drive, games, homecoming and find the Homecoming Launcher Shortcut there, and right click. "send to" and select "desktop, create shortcut".

Welcome Home @Zelene ! Some additional information may help us get you going. Are you using Tequila or the Homecoming Launcher? ( Homecoming Launcher is custom designed for Homecoming and fully supported ) What is your equipment, PC or Apple? ( either works but the support is different ) What operating system software version? ( IOS, IOX, Linux, Win7 - Win11 should all be fine, best if 64 bit ) For Windows, did you create a Game folder on the Hard drive and install there? ( CoH Homecoming can not be installed in Program Files or Windows will squash it )

I think I would go a little toward DPS, say a Brute who has Radiation Melee and Energy Melee, then uses the Pool version of Invulnerability along with Tough and Weave, then Combat Jumping. Then add the Epic Pyre Mastery for Fire Blast and Fire Ball. I think it would be a very busy screen to watch.

Not a problem in my case. Between playing on Reunion mostly and playing early mornings EST ( 4;00 am-6:00 am ) I see virtually no one to speak of. I'd probably have a heart attack if someone actually recognized one of my Characters. I imagine if they ever get around to porting Regen to Tanks they would have to return Instant Healing to a toggle. I found the Brute version to be OK, not stellar or anything, but usable. I did dive a little deeper into Pool Powers to compensate than I usually do but found some adversaries, like Reichsman at +4 could just chew through the regeneration and defenses. I would like to see something done as well but we'll see I guess.

Everything else can be changed though, Global Handle, Password etc. Game Account name is only ever visible to you so I assume they never saw a reason to be able to edit it.

If you are using Tequila, go to Options, Revalidate files, and see if it will run afterward. There have been some recent patches that may have you at a mismatch. If you are using the Homecoming Launcher click on the " ... " and click on check for updates. Good Hunting.

Also found this in a previous post: "Ok, I got it to work after going down the blind alley of trying to use Dependency Walker, Process Explore, and the Nvidia GeForce Experience utility. I had noticed that whenever I launched the game, of my 2 monitors it's always the one on the right which goes black. That one is actually #1, but is configured as #2 in windows (i.e. they're switched, I just did it through software rather than mess with the cables to get the left one to be #1 and the right one be #2). Anyway, I temporarily put them back that way and launched the game. It still started on the right-side monitor, but it ran successfully, in fullscreen mode! I was able to go into the game, switch to Windowed, and exit. I put my monitors back the way I want them and now the game runs as it should."

Have seen several instances reported where the "Nividia GeoForce Experience" , if active, creates a conflict between the PC, Graphics Card, and game settings. The usual fix is to disable it and install only the Driver for the Graphics Card itself. Not sure if that is of any help, but it has caused similar issues.
