  1. All MM primarys are good what I believe make a greater difference is the secondary choice in combination to the primary. Beast/nature and beast/kin are great combos. Ninja if kept alive are great so Ninja/Dark and Ninja/time great combos. Merc after updates are great proc monsters that stay out of melee now. Zombies are a mix but work better in tankier builds. So after Thugs and Demons focusing on dps, I would recomend go Beast/Kin or Ninja/Dark the difficulty in play would be higher but the out comes can be similar. Remember Thugs are just in another league because of gang war. It's like TW on a scrapper is just in another league.
  2. I run a lvl 50 Thug/EA and have a EA 40 Defender, both almost never use amp up. It's not like I tried but I cant find good use of it even trying to spam it on controllers and defenders. Someone said it buff healing received on target but it did not. I think though that would be the key to the power. Buff by adding healing received bonus to it. Now when you heal it acts like a healing anchor in your chain. When you chain a heal through the team on that one person that is amp up will get more of a heal.
  3. I can tell you from a Thugs perspective if your focusing on gang war. The recharge on EA is I think close to the best I have found. With energizing circuit 125% recharge buff and force feedback on attacks creating a consistent rotation hovering at 280%+ recharge. Now Gang war wont do as much damage as a KIN but you can keep them alive a lot better. On the shift side ,my def is not there yet so I might sacrifice 20-30% recharge from sets to get to soft cap def. Still very good combo but you know how the grass is always greener on the other side there sometimes I wish I rolled Demons but already had 2 of them so c'est la vie. Best of luck choosing.
  4. https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/16930-mids-reborn-unofficial-mrbu/ Tools section of forums, there is a update every week.
  5. Defender = 1st EA , 2nd Kin EA is strongest on Defender and being a good team support into a great team support it thrives on defenders. Kin is overpowered on Defender over caps and get wasted except on brutes Coruptor/Controllers = Kin 1st, EA 2nd For coruptors KIN is more balance and with player higher damage cap and scourge mechanic gets to it full potential. Controllers have pets imps and creepers which have proven monstrous with kin. EA is weaker and with it's primary in keeping team alive it does not complement well. Mastermind = wash Depends on combo and playstyle
  6. There is always those situation where the people are to spread out for the chain. Could be 2 groups, range dps at range that one scrapper scrapperlocked on the next group. This brought a new puzzle aspect to the game I have not played before. What I love doing is play connect the chain sometime standing between 2 groups that are being fought to connect the chain very fun play.
  7. Just re rolled a EA def into a Thug/EA and wow does it keep thugs alive but what I learned playing with the defender is the +125 recharge in energize circuit is the key to EA. Been getting gang war up and alive faster than a Kin. Also with gang war shields they live longer! Loving the feel of Thug/EA.
  8. This has been 9 months of perfecting and I don't think I can do any better for what the toon was made for so I believe its time to share the final build. The concept was a farmer that would have a wider play being not just good in farms but good in the entire game. You might have seen one of my builds on the Rad/Ice concept post but since then it has grown better. Avrg +4x8 farm time is 4-5 min mark. In perfect world/pulls you could probably get sub fours. What makes Spine/Ice so good is when you spend the money to IO it out you have soft cap def, 2 T9 save buttons, 40% DDR,100% slow resist. What matter most is the synergy in play with the slows for both spine and Ice it allow you to compensate for the lack of taunt and allows you to mow down opponents with endless crits. Yes 1/2 the time your in perma crit. With Ripper having Critkal strike ATO it proc 2/3 allowing you to combo Ripper(3 sec Crit proc)----->Throw spines (cone crit)-------->Spine burst (aoe Crit) total 3 sec combo Perfect rech after spine burst goes off ripper is recharged. While that combo going off you have 2 damage aura crit everywhere. There is more than damage coming from the 2 aura how about we add a little more control. So we talked about the slow synergy with the critical allowing no escape. What if we add another factor? 2 Knockdown proc one for each aura. This was the eurka moment I stumbled upon by accident. The old build was so good I never thought it could get better but one day when I was messing with proc and rotation I thought "I miss the old Fire/Ice tanks that would Ice patch & Burn." So I added the Knowdown IO in each damage aura. It cut my farm time by almost a min. Now besides the slow to help prevent escape they also get knockdown which takes more time for them to escape and with the massive dps coming from your aoe crits It so fast and fun. So what I ended up with was a farm scrapper running very good farm times but could run normal content at a higher range and quality than a spine/fire brute. Concept achieved. The build below is my final build you could change epic pools to almost any of them if you want. I run dark for shadow maul for the extreme def debuff times and snipe to mule a set but great for stragglers very balance play. I did run leviathan earlier but hibernate accumulated dust and water sprout scared mobs away. Fire would be the best to farm but again I wanted a well rounded character and soul mastery gave me the balance I needed to prevent cascading def failure.
  9. I chose to run EA/Elec Defender. Did not expect much, have run one character from each AT to 50 and chose EA/elec for my Defender run building pure team support role. In low 40's now and what I have learned is EA is very end hungry especially when you need to heavily support the team. The weird combo of EA/Elec with shifter IO's everywhere it allows me to become a one buff fest army. Very active and fun playstyle. You can solo with it but nothing compared to what you could with other AT. It shines on teams. Buff the global Recharge, Shift it up =Endless End, unlimited Heal/shield/Buffs. For the mini max in me which was going for shield healer I am very pleased with the result and even happy with going /Elec that is bad dps for the unlimited end it gave me back for unlimited buffs.
  10. Backstory the concept I am achieving is Blackstar up every 26 Sec and I also have Ground Zero at 26 sec on a Dark/Rad Sentinel. I have ended up slotting just one boosted +5 -Tohit at 54% duration 20 sec. So every mob I lead with blackstar and its smooth sailing cap res at 75% (46% cold and psi), shield and heals. The concept was a fast +4x8 nuker and it has come together nicely. Very appreciative of the info here I wanted to make sure I was not over slotting or under slotting and that one enhancement made a world of difference in my build. Night and day.
  11. Thank you, that answered it. Going to pump up that Blackstar to 60% -Tohit should get me close to 1/2 on +4 mobs.
  12. I am sure its out there but I can not find the answer. How much debuff value do you loose per +1 lvl you go up against . I am trying to add - To hit in high quantity to target. I have read that -tohit value is similar to if you had the same amount of def so I am assuming that if I apply -45% -Tohit to target it would be the same as if I had 45% def. What I am trying to account for is the loss of -tohit I apply to target going up aginst higher level foes and or the loss I get when going up against bosses or av. If any can post a link to the answer or knows the answer it would be much appreciated. 3 Qustions. 1. How much of my debuff do you loose fighting higher level opponents? 2. How much debuff do you loose going of against Boss and AV? 3. Does -Tohit have the same effect as if you ran the same amount of defense?
  13. Proc out leap get 2 for 1 special compared to lightning rod. I could just be crazy I don't know. On a side not some power combos proc out better some work better with sets and visa versa. For example everyone hates Duel Pistol for bad damage but if you proc it out they become above average. Some powers just proc out better.
  14. I am so stupid because Spent a hr building out my next build on mids. Kid comes up, "dad can I play Fornite" "sure." Finally get my computer back and realized I did not save it, stupid stupid stupid......
  15. My personal observation is we live in a quantum entangled universe that is similar to the matrix the reality is I have to wake up, raise a family and go to work everyday. As well as live with the fact that defensive opportunity recovers endurance reality is a tough pill to swallow. Again raise target cap to 16 and go from there for rebalance. The question I think everyone should try to figure out is. What is a Sentinel to you? Tank Healer Damage. Debuffer What should its role be? Without jumping on blasters toes with more damage. My personal opinion is there are two paths to go range tank playstyle or range scrapper with low target cap like it is now. Go range tank give punchvoke with 16 target cap or stay similar right now but increase damage significantly similar to scrapper with a different mechanic with low target cap.
  16. Just curious what is the purple patch?
  17. I do not know of any sets but what you can do is over do def to 60% ish or build around using ageless radical destiny incarnate and get 45%ish debuff resistance to all including def or a combo of both. Another option is to make friends with a shield user with Grant Cover. Its just hard to tell what you can do with out knowing your combo or build. For example you could also pick up shadow meld to help. What I am curious anyone know of a way to display def in combat with out looking at attribute screen?
  18. 2nd Rad/Dark proc monster

IMO I would go with a Claw/BIO/Mu mastery Brute or Tank. What you called for is not as easy as it is in Champion Online. You can macro in a costume change but I do not think you can macro in a size change I could be wrong. Here is a link to costume change. Why Claw/Bio/Mu? Bio has parasitic leach which is as close to a electric eel look I could think. Also Mu mastery has a cone melee shock that come close to. Also Bio has some weird transforming looking armor or you could go minimal fx and it has a surge of power looking color of choice going threw the muscle. Super strength looking powers you can get from power pools like you said. Best of luck.
  20. Main thing that needs to change is its activation time. Right now Field medic activation is very bad. 3.33 activation time feels a lot longer needs to be reduced to 1.5sec or lower. Side wishes Also if it could buff absorb that would be nice as well. Also increase its length from 60 sec to 90 sec. This would make Field Medic feel more stable and balanced.

  21. I alpha tested Champion online and the art was really bad a lot of bugs and just chaos at the start. I gave it a chance 2 yrs ago and it warped into a great game I loved the freeform concept but looking for team system was bad. Content was bad and the art was still bad. That being said if it had the art and LFG system of COH it might have worked. I liked COH better because its has a fun factor I just cant explain. What they made in 2002 worked thry made that awesome yum yum sauce its not to grindy, I can jump on find a quick group get my fix and get off. It feels like a game and not a job. Also you get a connection to you character that is a needed in a MMO and I believe it becomes your character in the vast amount of option you have to create them. Champion online had this customization, but it was not as fun to play in my opinion because of the art. For this reason people start Champion but not many stay. With COH you want to play again every one needs breaks but for example you take a break 6 months go by and something makes you remember COH again you want to play it, 6 months go by on Champion Online and I don't feel the same way.
  22. You do not need a dead target it is also used at a aoe mag 2 stun. This is with dark affinity set with controller I do not know if it's the exact same with def,mm, or cor. Out of the box Beam/psi blaster is a great av/gm killer combo with stacking -regen powers. With massive damage Mind/psi Dominators Safer but slower than blasters confuse av halts damage incoming also has -regen not as good against GM Both these combos are very good av/gm because of -regen from powers and Drain Psyhe.<---------(Missed)
  23. Yes crystal tab + Dark blue color inside and light gray /white outside looks like glacier ice
  24. Unique builds Dark/Staff toughest Tank when IO out. Also level smooth because staff stack -end cost as long as you don't use them. Allowing you to run dark armor to its full potential because it has a heavy use of endurance. Think of the build like peanut butter and jelly. Great leveling Super tough cap everything at max IO Rad/Dark Aoe proc monster. 4 aoe proc monster capable powers = 4 mini nukes. 3x16 target cap 1x32 target cap. Massive Aoe potential Layered mitigation absorb, regen, resistance Tough to cap def Great builds Shield/ anything Bio/ anything Old school Fire/Ice Ice patch KD +burn = Furnes To slow setup in current game speed Still great at solo play or farm
