Tempest, unless you are telling me to behave again (I haven’t posted here since Widower warned me), I’m really, really unclear what behavior you are seeing that needs behaving...Or did someone say something not nice and then/edit delete it? I’m not asking for names/details, but I am genuinely confused.

Pax, you are continuing an argument where no disagreement exists. The person you are quoting said they didn’t mean it that way - let’s take them at their word. The OP said he’s moved on, let’s honor that. I now you mean well, but it’s unnecessary kicking of hornet’s nests.

It really may have been this way in Live. IDK, but it still seems broken regardless (broken in Live is still broke)

I don’t think you are down on Macros at all. They well documented in your guide. And the one you posted yesterday on Rest was great as well. As for the custom windows it’s getting a bad wrap 1.) Add one folder to you CoH installation 2.) execute One slash command 3.) Click once on New custom window 4.) Drag Macros onto new menu bar Done I’d argue that’s easier than setting up a set of keybind files

As for Macros, if you click the link in my prior post, there are instructions for building a custom Macro window (distinct from power trays) that is persistent across all characters on that Accout/PC, and changes to one macro are also persistent. In addition, you have more room on the macro button for descriptive text. As far as setup and maintenance this is actually easier (caveat: I did say same PC). And some people just prefer a visual cue. Binds definitely can do more than Macros, so I like both. And while I appreciate the work on GABB model keyboard, i’m too familiar with my existing layout to enjoy a massive overhaul, regardless of how intuitive it is (the learning curve would just be painful for me). I do love the guide, and use it as a reference all the time. It would be nice if that was stickied as well in these forums. And you’d probably get more traction on the keyboard if it was part of a stickied post instead of only in the guide.

[Citation Needed] Jump Pack and Steam Jump were always rechargeable and usable multiple tiems per map on Live. I recall there was a bug on Homecoming that made them once per map but last time I checked the Jump Pack version seemed to be working properly now. It wasn’t working yesterday, that’s the last I played and I definitely noticed it. I don’t remember steam jump doing the same thing (I think Inwould have noticed, but haven’t played with it for a while)

We, we have a conundrum then. It does work more than once per zone (as long as you shut it down before 30 sec) It does work more than once per zone (as long as you switch zones in between) So it’s behavior is inconsistent at best and doesn’t match the power text. I can’t imagine that was the behavior the power designer intended. So at best it’s super poorly implemented, and at worst it’s a bug. Either way, it should be corrected IMHO.

Tone is lost on the internet. Doubly so on a forum. I find it’s best to always assume good intent from other posters until their actual words specifically say otherwise. And that’ll come across in your posts as well. Hell I argue a lot on these forums in opposition to things people say, but with one exception, there is no one that I wouldn’t team with in the game or grab a beer with IRL.

I have the same issue. I have heard that switching builds also fixes it (saves having to log out). Definitely a bug.

Chat handle is the option. There is no change button on the pop up window? If not, it’s likely you already changed it once. Regardless, the support ticket is still the way to go. Sorry about that.

You can change it, but one time only. Go to Menu->Chat ID That will display your global handle and can change it there

How do I give +1 inf to a whole thread? For me personally, though I have faced Captain Hoot-Hoot many times in battle, I have never defeated him. Respect!
