Why 3 recharge each instead of 2 +5 recharge IOs? I would take 2 slots from one and add to the other, then 6 slot the one with gaussian, while maximizing recharge of the other with the boosted IOs. 6 slot gaussian gives a 2.5% def to all.

Damn a staycation day while my wife is at work and the baby is at daycare sounds like a great idea. I'd have enough time to take care of my yard, put the Christmas decorations back up above the garage, buy some beer and make a new toon. Sadly I'm already at work, so maybe next week.

I just got confirmation for my flight to Stockholm from those spam links, but now my bank accounts and cryptocurrency accounts are glitching and show $0.00. Weird, I'm sure my banks and brokers will get the glitch sorted soon. Stockholm is going to be soo fun!

I agree spring attack is garbage. It would should have either a damage increase or recharge redux to rebalance it for being that far into a power pool. Impale despite only having a 40 foot range (I still remember the days of 80 foot impale glory pre nerf) it works pretty well as it also has an immobilize and -fly component. I think hasten and dull pain are under slotted, as I like to max their recharge. I build my invulns to play at HP cap.

Thanks. This was a toon I played from 1-50 Goldside before moving it over to try it in a solo 1 star ITF. I made it to the 2nd mission with it before my wife yelled at me to shut off the PC and roll out to wherever we were going that day. I ended up quitting the solo ITF and ran through a bunch of blue and red story arcs with it.

Elec/Ice tanker is super fun. Knocking mobs down with ice patch into lightning field, while pummeling them with frost, freezing touch, and frozen aura. Decent damage, lots of mitigation as mobs are sapped/slowed/kd/held and powersinl is a nice top off. I skipped the ice swords on this one to leverage cross punch as well. It works pretty damn good.

I don't do near as many 4 star runs as I'd like but I typically end up solo or on pugs when I do get a chance to play these days, and as the baby severely limits my playtime sometimes I'm lucky to have 9 minutes for a speed ITF.

Easy way to test, make a quick AE map where you fight rad/sonic defenders and see what happens. -
For Four Star stuff I generally use my Invuln/MA or Invuln/Kat tanker, otherwise my SD/Elec and SA/Rad does well enough. I want to give my SR/Rad, Elec/Ice, and DA/SS a whirl and see how they fair as well (I've used them 1-2 star TFs to various effect on pugs).

Don't all new powersets and pretty much any that get adjusted have some new mechanic to make them unique? Over the last few years that seems to be the modus operandi around here.

If you ever decide to look at the actual game code, yes adding new seems easier than changing something else and breaking other things while making your changes. And yes it requires a fair amount of alcohol, why else do you think we all had to pay $12-15 bucks a month, the OG devs needed liquid encouragement in addition to paying for their bills like Manticore's 2004 shiny blue Miata.

Not diving into numbers because I'm taking a break from some calculations on a survey by perusing the forums. I have an Ill/sav/ice domi and it plays really well and shreds things. Sure I might not be the best case study as all my characters basically start at lvl 50 and fully IOd out to the gills. But when fully slotted out it's probably my most fun (I know very subjective) dominator I have and I have maybe 8-10 other fully IOd domis as various sets too. Perhaps because it's one of the more recent ones and the fact that I wanted illusion control on dominators forever I'm being less critical on it.

Sure, there's a few different camps preaching similar changes, but I guess I was more thinking of the individual values and such. I've had several discord conversations about Regen over the years and over more than one bottle of liquor.

I'm far from the Regen expert that I was in the days of Perma MoG and soloing hammi mitos. A lot of people agree that Regen could use some work although hardly anyone agrees how. If I could redesign Regen.... I'd revert instant healing to a toggle l Move brutes taunt aura from integration over to the toggle instant healing. I'd ditch quick recovery for a new auto power named Resolve. Resolve would add scaling regeneration values the lower your health got similar to how SR gets resistance the more missing health it has. At it's most effective it would put out Regen values similar to a WP tank's RTTC while fully saturated. Resolve would also add a 50% resistance to regen and recovery debuffs. Fast Healing would be similar to how it is but have a built-in 3.5 ppm proc to have double Regen ticks for 10 seconds. It also gains a 30% resistance to slows. Reconstruction works as usual with the addition of potentially stacking 10% resistance to Regen debuffs that last 60 seconds. Revive can be used when not dead, it fully heals the player and gives them an absorb shield of 33% of their max HP. The power no longer benefits from recharge reduction. Other powers would function in the same way that they currently do.

I like the idea of a majority of attacks having a chance to immobilize a target. Its kind of difficult to move if you have an arrow going through your chest pinning you to a wall. Additionally explosive arrow should do more damage than what it does. It feels lethargic. As an archer in real life I once drunkenly taped an explosive firework onto an arrow shaft. Ignited the fuse and fired the arrow. it was loud, disorienting, and ultimately put a hole in the roof of the shed. Damn arrow was super heavy so it arched downward quick, so I could see an explosive arrow suffering an accuracy penalty on lieu of increased damage.

Stone armor is pretty good overall. I'd give it a whirl on the test server if you're unsure about it. But it's a set worth playing on not just a tank.

That's correct. In regards to your force fielder, they can use power build up or power boost (soul) and even combine with clarion radials +special and get some pretty big numbers for those shields. That said debuffs are king for hard mode. -

It's technically possible to do so but would require effort to expand a new UI box on a regular vendor to show the price of various items at the AH. It might be easier and more pragmatic to emphasize the story arc that sends players to the AH at lvl 10 to train them how to use the AH. -
It's a fun thing to do by rolling a superteam together. Sadly as with everyone else I can't commit to it as work, wife, and baby take priority so I'm lucky of I get in game for a few hours a week.
