  1. Leveling a EM/ea and Claws/ea. Doing mostly uncommons in the EM build and cranking out +3/x2 right now at 30. I've done Claws to 50 on a scrapper and brute, and my current leaning is I like it better on a scrapper. I think the crits will help cover it being so resisted. The Claws/ea feels like doing a 2.5 version of my main which originally was a Claws/regen scrapper. 2.0 being Claws/wp brute.
  2. I don't think they are saying WM has the same kind of DPS. What they are saying is since WM hits harder, things die, and then they move on to the next target to kill it in short fashion. If fights aren't long, sustained DPS isn't that big of a deal.
  3. In terms of IOs, you will likely only six slot a def based power if you are aiming for the bonus for that spot since one of them might be just slotting for end/recharge. In a toggle, recharge is nearly irrelevant.
  4. The problem is laying claim yours is close to theirs or even where it ranks within all of the assault sets without doing equivalent testing or finding data which verifies what you are claiming. Science is based on verified data with as close as possible variables so one can look into those variables, ie Dark/* vs Dark/dark. Doing a test with two different methods(full build versus secondary only) isn't the validation you are seeking. "There is no data to support nor prove the claim that dark assault is mediocre" There also isn't data which supports the idea of it not being mediocre. I'm not saying you are wrong. I have my guesses. I'm saying there is a fundamental lack of valid data being used.
  5. The winner should get their own personalized big red ball.
  6. It isn't as disruptive as you think as this is one person having that many alts and only being able to play so many at one time. It is closer to what would happen if people had the chance to always play a fully Incarnate build. Well, on sub level 45 content it doesn't mean anything.
  7. If I had that kind of currency, I would go around the game handing out 100 mil to people I came across. I don't know the reasonable amount of max currency is in this game, but people can absolutely hit it. It is partly why the longer I play the game the more casual I get with the market.
  8. /rad gets my vote. EDIT: I see it was mentioned before.
  9. Correction, one used Dark and the other used Plant. Put up times using your primary. The one using Dark mentioned UB. Not sure on any other pets. Where is the data showing /dark is third? I have searched on the Doms forum for pylon data and I'm honestly not seeing it.
  10. I looked at the scrapper thread on pylon times and searched for the word Dom. Two different builds came up. One being Dark/fire and another being Dark/ea. Both posted/claimed occasional sub 1:30 times which translates in the area of 500 dps.
  11. Yeah, I'm painfully aware. I could certainly come up with ideas for things to add to the game, but it becomes a question of how long would it take to implement. A good genuine rework of any TF is going to be a lengthy project.
  12. Been thinking about playstyles and what works for today's end game. Needless to say I went looking and made a Fire/thermal and Cold/water. I had a Cold before but never got that far with them. Never tried out Thermal, and it looks good for what I want. In short, animation times matter. Even if the animation time is short, if I have to place something, it won't be as quick as I might want it to be. Yes, I know about Sleet. And yes, I named the Defender Tall Glass because, well, duh.
  13. You really shouldn't need Initial Strike unless you plan on exempting down quite a bit. I exempted down to 20 today and didn't miss it. Your attacks are rather low on acc. I believe the way Energy Manipulator is slotted it would be stunning you. You're the target of the end mod and not mobs. FYI, bonuses from an enhancement is capped at five copies. See LotG + Recharge and GotA + Run Speed. I know you don't have a travel power, but instead all of those GotAs, I would honestly drop IS and take an actual travel power. I find Athletic Run from P2Wvendor works well enough for running. Add a slot to Hasten. Those are things I see at a glance.
  14. Mind/ea since you would get Power Boost. That's what you are using to lock down AVs and such.
  15. Outsmart and Damage Cap are the last two I think really surprised me.
  16. Still likely my favorite zone. I came in just before it was added, and I remember staring wide eyed at the previews.
  17. RIP to the brain cells I lost watching gameplay videos from 2020. Seeing a ranged attack be split among the targets was nice, but that's about it for a compliment.
  18. This isn't Staples. There is no Easy button.
  19. Savage is such a fun playstyle of a set, but Hemo isn't worth taking. At this point I keep some builds around for the day the devs tweak them to be more inline with other sets.
  20. So, passive bonuses.
  21. They turned it into one once they found out CoH was going away. It has been years, but that's how I remember it. Even if not true, it is telling a dev studio is taking this long.
  22. DC already did an MMO and Marvel has their games. I think an indie IP would be needed to make a splash. If Greater Than Games got with a decent enough dev team, I can see Sentinels of the Multiverse being of note. Not sure if the dev team behind the app for the card game would be the right team. GTG's attempt at a miniatures game bombed terribly, so yeah. Maybe some other Superhero RPGs could make a splash as well.
