  1. Minor note: Artillery is still listed as Shrapnel in the built-in freebies menu (and thus doesn't work). You can still enter the commands manually.
  2. Super rigs tuned for folding (or anything that uses GPUs for calculations), and probably multiple rigs working in tandem.
  3. This has been a personal bug bear of mine since I started playing way back when. They're all 25 minute (1500 second) recharge for a duration of 60 seconds, save the Crey CBX-9/Stolen Immobilizer Ray which is a ST immobilize with middling damage. This is, in my opinion, not worth the effort involved to acquire them. I understand they're something of a relic from before the power creep got so insane, but getting these accolades should feel like a reward, not just another icon that clutters up the left side of my powers menu. List of powers for reference: Proposal: Cut the recharge times down to something approaching reasonable, like 10 minutes. Maybe 15 at the absolute maximum. For the immobilize pistol, either: Cut the recharge down even more (in the realm of 5 minutes or less) Give it something worth caring about (maybe make the immobilize a mag 3.5 so it affects bosses). Thoughts, comments, concerns, random unrelated (yet creative) insults?
  4. Given how superfluous +Def is once your team has IOs/proper builds, I say screw what people are accustomed to. Force Field primarily granting +absorb not only makes sense thematically but makes it unique and useful. If I had full control, I'd take @The Philotic Knight's idea but swap the +Def on the ally shield for +Absorb. On live, I had a FF/Elec Defender who was basically Easy Mode for any team who struggled. I remade him on Homecoming, but haven't bothered leveling him past the 30s because Force Field simply doesn't add anything meaningful with the current state of the set.
  5. @NobleKangaroo any plans to update the first post? There are new sets, and accolade badges are no longer auto-granted, so the commands for those would be a nice feature.
  6. When changing alignment from red to blue, or vice versa, the game automatically removes the event notification channel of the alignment you just left. As changing alignments is very easy now, it would be quite nice if this was changed so chat tabs stay as they are when the change happens.
  7. Homecoming repurposed a number of the removed AE badges for things like denying inspiration and recipe drops.
  8. Here you go. For future reference, popmenus are very simple plain text. You can easily edit them yourself with zero knowledge of coding in notepad.
  9. A sends the message to the active tab's default channel, which is Local in the Global tab under default game settings.
  10. Small bug, but the building stacks of Static are listed as "Blood Frenzy" in the log. Also, while not beta specific, there's no log for absorb in any of the channels. Since one of the big perks of the new set is the ability to grant non-crap amounts of absorb to allies, this may be a good time to address that.
  11. So, are there any plans to update Mids' Reborn anymore? The tanker melee powers still show the old power selection order. I ask mostly due to the latest beta server patch, which put in a new power set, origin pool, and 4 IO sets. When those are ready for the live servers, I'd like to be able to plan around them.

  14. IN the US, trademarks are not copyright, and work under different rules. NC Soft has the copyright, as that never expired (copyright lasts the life of the creator + 75 years, yes it's really that ****ing stupid). Trademarks last forever unless you stop using/defending them. Given how long it's been since the game's shutdown and NC Soft's lack of presence in the US, the trademark was probably considered lapsed and they renewed it as a matter of course.
  15. Eh, as far as I know there are only 2 of those. And one disappears once you use it. Seems like a lot of work for a relatively small payout.
  16. Per ParagonWiki, the Pursuer/Elusive badges was awarded for logging in at any point during Nov 2006 (CoV's launch). I'd assume since it is now the first November for the Homecoming servers, we're getting it as a throwback.

  18. You can add it yourself. Popmenus are plain text. Just open the mnu file with your preferred text editor. You will have to re-launch the game if it's open, as popmenus are loaded with the client.

  20. I've no idea if a choice of inherent would be possible with this 15 year old game engine, but damn if it doesn't sound like an amazing idea.
  21. Solo incarnate trials would run into a couple of issues, primarily most (or all?) of them have a timer to complete. The AVs are always AVs, and if you can't take them down fast enough you fail. I have a hard time seeing Force Field/Electric Blast outputting enough DPS to do that.
  22. This was addressed on Live by the original dev team. It's not easy to remove. If it were, they would have done it (because you aren't even close to the first person to complain about this).
  23. Is there a good way to farm the Jailed Badge? Getting it through normal play takes ages, but I haven't found a way to cheese it so far.
  24. So, moving the Field of View slider down to around 55 (I had it at the max of 70) doesn't solve the issue, but it does make it so it can't be seen. WTF...
  25. Hunting around Perez Park, I noticed badge credit wasn't counting all the Skulls I defeated. It looks like the non-boss Skulls with female models don't count for some reason. Death Dolls give badge credit as normal (both Bonecrusher and Kill Skuls).
