  1. I put in some real play time on my remade Inv/SS tanker on Pineapple, and my experience pretty much confirmed for me what I'd been saying earlier in the thread: I really think Super Strength needs some buffs on top of the Tanker changes. It gets less out of the new inherent than possibly any set besides Titan Weapons (which was specifically exempt for already being too stronk) I definitely defeat enemies a little faster, and that's great, but I don't notice a big difference otherwise. This is at odds with the other posters who've seen great results on other sets with more AoEs and cones to benefit from the new inherent. Foot Stomp and Hand Clap only got 1 foot larger in radius, something I sure don't notice in practice, and (while this is just me, personally) I don't normally play on difficulties high enough to benefit from the increased target cap. (As an aside: I actually noticed my endurance usage was much worse on Pineapple; I'm pretty sure this is because I made my Tanker when the T1/T2 swap was still being tested and I was able to fit Hand Clap in my build. I've posted before about the lengths I went to in order to get my endurance under control; to still have end problems at 50 after going to those lengths is troubling. Sure could've used the bigger endurance pool...) I've said this before, but I think it bears reiterating; besides Rage, Foot Stomp was the big selling point for Super Strength. Its radius was nearly twice that of most other PBAoEs while still doing comparable damage. Now, on Tankers, the radius is only 25% bigger than those same powers. It would need a radius of 24 feet to keep the same ratio it had before with the 8-foot PBAoEs, but that seems much too big; I think the 20-foot radius it had in the first iteration of the Tanker changes would be fine. Beyond that, I would like to see Jab and Punch swapped in the power order. Punch would make a much better T1. Give Jab something to make it worth a pick; it's absolutely miserable right now. Making it a defense move like Parry or Storm Kick would be good, or letting it keep Bruising would be nice too. Or even both; it really is so bad currently that letting it reduce a target's resistance while increasing your own defense doesn't feel like it would make it too powerful. Give that to Brutes' Jab, too, of course. Oh yeah, one last thing, not related to Super Strength: those new taunt lines from Gauntlet are really distracting. Also, bug? I was seeing them on APP ranged attacks. On the live shards those only taunt the target for Tankers, no AoE. Is that intentional?
  2. Copied this over from the other thread, since it's about Rage; I wanted to say that the crash is in fact lessened for everyone, since the -End effect is no longer part of the crash but an upfront cost when you first activate.
  3. Sounds like you don’t pay much attention when you use Rage.
  4. If you absolutely have to have it, go back outside the building where Director 11 spawns and have the whole team fly up in the air where the bombs can't hit you, and kill him with ranged attacks and Lores.
  5. Brutes should be grateful to get out of the spotlight with only a small reduction to their damage cap.
  6. 20 degrees is waaay narrower than I thought it was.
  7. I don't think minimal FX for Granite is possible with the current setup. The shapeshift into the stone form is part of the power's effects, and power customizations can't alter the effects of powers.
  8. (Almost?) Every Tanker PBAoE is going to be able to hit 16 targets, though, in addition to getting significantly bigger. Foot Stomp's bigger AoE was one of the main selling points of Super Strength, that and Rage. Now, the only thing it really has over other sets, at least on Tankers, is Rage.
  9. Speaking of Super Strength, it's also pretty disappointing that it doesn't really get to benefit from the AoE size buffs. Hand Clap is bigger, but that doesn't help clear faster, and Foot Stomp's radius only went up 1 foot. It's not an AoE-heavy set like Titan Weapons, so there really doesn't seem to be a reason for it to miss out.
  10. I was really looking forward to the T1/T2 swap expressly because of Jab. I hate the animation (both of them), I wanted to be rid of it. Just buffing it wouldn't have made me happy...
  11. So why was the Brute damage cap lowered? I thought they weren't under the spotlight.
  12. First the T1/T2 swap, now the extra endurance... All the changes I was most looking forward to are gone now. 😟
  13. What if they added a +Strength to Run Speed effects to Granite? It shouldn’t affect Granite’s run speed debuff, since the power has enhanceable resistance buffs and would have to be flagged to ignore outside buffs, but it should make self run speed buffs like Swift and set bonuses more effective while in Granite. That way, it wouldn’t be so hard to overcome the penalty with set bonuses.
  14. Yeah, that's exactly the problem I have. I can get it to run, but it can't actually do anything with the .texture files.
  15. Don't Transfusion, Transference, and Fulcrum Shift use pseudopets? Also Blizzard, Ice Storm, Freezing Rain, Sleet, and Rain of Fire.
  16. None of those emotes are gone, they're all still in the game. Except pizza, which we never had.
  17. I would like to update with new icons if it was possible, yes. I've got Piglet, but it doesn't seem to be able to make new .texture files. But also, I can't actually find any of the i25 icons, like the new Blaster secondaries or Sentinel powers. Piglet can open multiple piggs at once, but even so I can't find anything they added for i25. So I'm at a loss there. As for making the custom icons, there's not much to it. Someone at the Titan Network made an Icon Compiler program that let you combine any color schemes and symbols and export it as a TARGA file, which they let me use. I'd just make the icon I wanted, then PiggViewer would let you copy the header from the right icon file with a bitmap or TARGA to make the .texture file. So really, my role in the process is just as the guy anal enough to scrutinize all the icons and make replacements where I found inconsistencies.
  18. I don't think it's a bad idea, but I'm not sure I'd even take the old T1s if I wasn't forced to.
  19. The moment it's safe to use Rage again is supposed to be a few seconds before you lose the damage buff, though. I do think it could be a good idea.
  20. Okay, how about this: You can buy Superadine/Fixadine, but as soon as you click the Buy button, the screen fades to black. Narration appears on screen that says, "And with that simple action, $character became one more lost soul to lose themselves to addiction. Remember, Winners Don't Use Drugs!" Then you return to the character select screen, and that character is deleted.
  21. Well it's supposed to sound positive. Your character used their Rage to improve their fighting without it having any negative impact on them.
  22. Bump. This bug happens to me nearly every time I enter the second mission of Apex's TF.
  23. What about "Rage mastered?"
  24. Nobody's saying it can't be done. What's been said is that it isn't some magic bullet that instantly solves the problem.
