  1. No, I don't think tier 3 inspirations should cost 450 influence apiece (1350 for Awakens). That's too strong for too cheap a price.
  2. They always used the melee scale and will continue to use the melee scale.
  3. Because that's not the kind of team support Tankers are meant to supply.
  4. If the talks with NCSoft bear fruit and Homecoming becomes legit, there’s likely to be an influx of new players that will make the multiple shards we have quite valuable. If the talks fall through, well... server mergers aren’t going to solve that problem.
  5. Well that's on me. Yeah, Phantasm should probably stay at range.
  6. From what Jimmy said earlier, PA is a normal pet rather than a henchman, meaning it has a different AI and isn't covered by this change, but could be changed in the future. However, the main point of PA is to draw aggro, and they'll do that better in melee, so it probably shouldn't be changed.
  7. I can't imagine these changes are going to make Tankers worse at soloing than Controllers at low levels, since Tankers actually get attacks.
  8. While I still feel that there are some sets (*cough* Super Strength) that gain no or limited benefit from the Tanker changes and deserve some individual attention, at least the changes don’t end up being a nerf now.
  9. It sounds like you abandon your teammates in the middle of fights to go looking for better fights.
  10. Nobody wants to wait for Tankers to herd any more.
  11. Increasing the aggro limit for Tankers is just gonna make having multiple Tankers on the team even more redundant than it already is.
  12. Captain Powerhouse has already acknowledged that Blaster holds in the new secondaries are too strong and are already on the chopping block for some nebulous future update. Personally I think they shouldn't be there at all.
  13. But you specifically said that the call for help isn’t supposed to kick in unless most of the mobs in a spawn are already defeated, so why introduce an extra step to get around the aggro cap when it shouldn’t be in play to begin with?
  14. How does the invisible pet help, in practice? What are you picturing would be the functional difference from just putting a taunt aura on a player or their pet?
  15. That sounds like it's just going to end up making the entire map aggro at once but with extra steps.
  16. It matters more than you think. The extra time spent casting adds up, there’s two accuracy checks which means double the chance of some sort of failure, and you’re dedicating two powers and two powers’ worth of slots to the same tactic. As for Elec and Plant’s confuses, the Elec one takes time to affect large amounts of enemies, and everyone knows Plant’s is way too strong.
  17. 300% recharge isn’t a common number for a build to reach on its own, but I assumed you meant external buffs when you said “accounting for recharge buffing.”
  18. Well, that's what you can do now. With 300% recharge, AoE holds are up every 60 seconds. To be clear, I'm not against buffing AoE holds. I think they should definitely lose the accuracy penalties (the PBAoE ones should maybe even get an accuracy bonus), and either get an increase in duration by about 5 seconds or a reduction in recharge time by about 40 seconds (but not both). However, the intention behind the original nerf is still valid IMO, and it shouldn't be undone completely.
  19. You shouldn't be able to turn entire spawns into statues with a single power every group, though. That's why the AoE controls were nerfed in the first place.
  20. Setting up Granite Armor customization is not so straightforward. The power customization system doesn't change that actual properties of the powers, only animations and FX colors, and the shapeshift into the Granite Armor model is part of the power's effects. They can change what model the power shapeshifts you into easily enough, but that would change Granite Armor for every player. Setting it up so the player can choose what model it uses requires groundwork that AFAIK isn't currently laid out, and would need to be implemented just for Granite Armor.
  21. No one who actually looked into a solution and understood how it might be implemented actually said it was impossible, only very difficult. They only people who were saying it was impossible were putting words into their mouths.
  22. Lore summons copies of boss and lieutenant mobs from various villain groups rather than specific characters. How are they not generic?
  23. Lore summons generic bosses and lieutenants, thank you very much. No generic minions in there!
  24. Taser used to be a melee attack a long time ago, but it's been ranged for ages.
  25. I'm actually kind of miffed because it's so similar to what I posted many moons ago but it's getting way more likes.
