Unfortunately, some of what you describe would not be functional in the caves and tight corridors of City of Heroes. Now a "wall crawler" travel power might work towards that parkour concept, even in caves, but that would likely take an exhaustive amount of coding to change surfaces to adhesive ones.

Add enough knockback and those energy melee powers do offer range, "knock ya into next Tuesday" range.

I hate to say it, but some of what you said in your first note are things I've never heard from my IT server and IT security teams after 6 years of working with them. (I'm the low guy on the totem pole: "Techwright" as in Desktop Support, hardware repair, and imaging) I could wish to be better informed to better help, however small, because I'm part of an IT division for a network of hospitals, and they've been ramping up security ever since the Wannacry hit British hospitals. I freaked out when I read your Remote Desktop comments because a decade ago I worked for a prominent bank, and was the hands and eyes of the rest of the IT department scattered around the world. It was standard practice to check the status of our site servers, by having the Desktop Support guy use Remote Desktop to log into them. I can only imagine how many bullets we dodged, and don't get me started on the condition of the branch network closets when I came onboard. Ugh. You must have never owned a beagle. We owned several in my youth and my neighbors were constantly letting us know how effective our beagles conversation skills were. 😁

I still crack up at a pair of "Police Squad" jokes:. 1. The "All-night wicker store" 2. Trying to recreate the bank teller murder scene, with the bodies piling higher with each attempt.

It ain't St. Paddy's day until the hospital cafeteria serves corned beef and cabbage. Looking forward to it this week. One of the few "ethnic" meals they get right. Well, except for their version of colcannon. Blech. (And trust me, when "southeast Asian" day comes round, don't ever try their pho. How can one screw up pho, and so badly?)

Need me something that can control a large area, say, the entire village of Salamanca in Croatoa, and bend everyone to my will doing ridiculous stuff like making period piece comedy TV shows. Higher level powers should allow me to expand my area of control, and convert any Longbow nearby into Carnies. Since this would be a control set, I'd like pets similar to the Illusion power: summon a sidekick phantom from my character's past, and two lesser constructs with powers of their own. Please and thank you.

Never really did these, except for one time where I got dragged into one mission dazed and confused. I seem to remember not doing much as a team member, which beggars my question: are these designed with team play in mind or are they more solo stuff? I notice that I almost never hear calls for teammates to do these arcs.

Sorry to hear a fellow emulator has fallen. What on earth would attract hackers to a low-population (presumably), greatly-outdated game? The rewards would seem minuscule compared to other targets. Too bad a situation like that couldn't be turned on its ear with law enforcement using the game as a hacker honeypot. Those that played Sanctuary: did they have any unique advancements that would benefit other emulators? Might be a silver lining legacy to come from it, if the others could agree on a share arrangement for anything unique.

C.R. - are weapons permitted in the snapshots? Just wondering 'cause I can see how those can play into the theme this week.

What difficulty level are these epic times set to?

Episode 3:

I'm enjoying the creativity, and look forward to the outcome, but I'm going to skip participation in this one. My personal creativity failed me when I saw the color scheme. All I could think of was cheap, waxpaper-wrapped Halloween candy. Well, that or Reeses products. It...it may have something to do with this new sugar-free diet I'm on. Not sure.

I shall have to consider this with CoH. My friends and I already do this at our occasional Halo game nights. Not owning an Xbox with which to practice, I am the least dangerous among them, and jokingly go by the name "Gandhi". Another uses the handle "A Small Child". The game obliges us with statements like "A Small Child killed Gandhi", or occasionally "Gandhi killed A Small Child".
