I remember a glitch back in live that players found a way to change their PvP flag to fight in Pocket D. A lot of people got upset for being killed while chilling at the bar, but I have to admit that I enjoyed the chaos of it all.

I also wanted to highlight this to say that while I didn't and don't want changes to existing content, I am onboard with two thumbs up for adding higher difficulty critters to old groups IF it is in new content that explains how they leveled up. Incarnate powers, teamed up with another faction, found a new source of power, whatever. That's why I love the new Nemesis guys in Zoe but did not want them moved into the rest of the game. While it makes more sense to me the critters would get boosted for 50+ content, I was OK with the Freakloks at lower levels, again because it was new content that explained why they changed.

I basically agree with AA. I prefer that the old stuff remain as is to the extent possible while new stuff is added. I'm old, I've been playing this game for 20 years or so, and have developed some muscle memory and habits on how I play. I don't mind adapting to a new powerset or a new enemy group. But I do mind it when a character I have played for years suddenly doesn't play the same either because his powers have changed or the things he's fighting have changed their powers. I don't want to have to respec a single character, let alone dozens of them. This entire last patch of on-again off-again changes to powers completely turned me off. I didn't even feel like arguing about it. I, and I think a sizeable group of players, would be much happier if you stop changing the old and just added new. Yes, I am overpowered. I like it that way. I'm not playing a cop or a soldier. I'm playing a superhero. I'm supposed to be overpowered. Also, my favorite thing to fight was not listed. I think the Rikti are a great faction that scales really well with a great deal of variety in attacks, buffs, and debuffs. Of the new stuff, I like the Freakaloks, just because they're so freaky.

Can we NOT have GMs spawn on solo players?

I agree that it is pretty shocking and deadly to open a present and then be suddenly surrounded by snowmen, including a giant one. It would be better if they spawned at least a few feet further away. I also agree that the game should have explained all that better. Maybe with a popup, maybe in the GMOTD, not sure what would be best, but I guarantee that whatever was done several people would still not have read it for one reason or another and still been killed by a Snow dude. I further agree that it's not a huge deal to die and get a new badge (and learn not to click on those white boxes if not ready), but it could have been done a little better. -

Noob question: When to stop using 2x XP buff?

I also leave it on to level 50, although I occasionally run out of the buff and forget to top off right away. I tend not to farm too much. I have nothing against it and have farmed many levels, but I prefer playing the character through TFs and arcs with a possible farm visit to gain a few quick levels after mid 30s when the leveling slows down and I really want the next power or a few extra slots. With double XP and without farming, I find that I get to level 50 in less than a weeks worth of playing, probably 10 to 20 hours worth of actual playing. Once you get to 50, the influence really starts flowing in and you are better at killing things quickly with a complete build. I did try to play without any doubleXP or sending influence and other gifts from my other 50s. I couldn't do it. At least not all the way. I broke down early and took some IOs from my base. And then used my second account to farm him some levels around level 35. So while I didn't buy double XP or send any influence, I could not tolerate the feeling of being slow and weak and cheated on the spirit of the challenge. Some people love to play each character on their own, without buffs or gifts. I realized that it is not for me. -
