  1. It's been reasonable so far, surprisingly.
  2. I don't see why armor/cloak/orbiting death just working while shapeshifted is an issue over suppression. New light form and eclipse already damage cap you among other things, why prevent other builds from chasing toggles if they want to give it a go? At the very least, Orbiting Death and Shadow cloak should work, but that doesn't leave the peacebringers with much, so I'd be in favor of just letting them have it active. Why not, they're already paying for it in build slots + endurance, and eclipse/light form are already the best option for a very obvious reason. I don't see the issue with making the armors not joke picks for people that actually want to play khelds optimally. You can't make a single compelling argument against it, really.
  3. Shame that eagle claw change never made it in, MA/ninja was going to be my new scrapper, lol. How ya like it for clearing?
  4. Enough aoe to melt fodder. Enough single target to blow up the few bosses left. (Bonus) Enough single target to solo AVs and higher reliably. (Bonus 2) Able to do most of these things well at lower levels. Lower the difficulty, the easier this standard is to meet.
  5. Global damage buffs it, like from bu/gaussian/aim.
  6. It would actually be decent if the damage built up faster and tesla itself actually did anything to your primary target. It's just a slow, clumsy power as is.
  7. My personal favorite blaster is beam/tac. >.>
  8. At the top end, it would be very close between beam, procced ice and fire, with procced ice taking the lead. The difference would be small, you'd be unlikely to notice in actual gameplay. The thing with ice and fire is they have incredible damage and quick animations on top of that, beam has the disintegration mechanic that really racks up the pain strong once you get going. Below those three is when it becomes more noticeable, again, the cast speed is the primary reason fire and ice are so ahead of everything else.
  9. Eagle>storm>axe>storm is one of the better chains for the set. Would have been the best if that buff happened, but either way, it's worth it if you take EC.
  10. Super late by now, but the only reason crab/bane players don't do this is because of the spiderpack. Pretty much no downside to this on a widow.
  11. This was a buff to the power at some point, I forget when but it was sometime after Cimerora. Cobra strike used to also basically just stun and do no damage. Of course, with the atos we have now, this buff kinda doesn't matter as much anymore.
  12. My main bio character is claw/bio, so I didn't see the need to, but I do see the merit in other primaries. I don't underestimate bio, it's inarguably the strongest secondary for offense due to how much of a force multiplier it is, and can be very hard to put down once it gets going. My primary point is there are advantages to both and one isn't overly dominant over the other.
  13. I always plan for the worst case scenario when it comes to characters I like. /shrug
  14. The global recharge also allows you to proc an EM/rad more aggressively without worrying too much about gimping your attack chains. Rad therapy and ground zero also significantly boost EM's general clear speed enough to make up for not having offensive mode. The combo definitely is still pretty good without procs, I tested in case of the impending nerf being too heavy handed. EM/BIO will surely melt AVs slightly faster, but I do think rad's the better pairing overall.
  15. Because while it may have four insanely good powers to carry the set, they aren't perfect. It's also a pain to solo before VG. The set isn't as safe as cold, and it really should be the debuff king considering the playstyle. Vg shouldn't toggle off when mezzed and should have a larger radius, full stop. Splashes should be bigger and neuro breath should do literally anything useful. Plus, if/when procs get nerfed, I'd much rather have the /traps version of poison trap since it's way better without procs carrying this one.
  16. It stands to reason that the dedicated stealth specializations should have better stealth powers. I don't even think this is even a question. You can debate fort if you want, but NW/Bane should get stalker-level stealth without much of an argument.
  17. Em and Rad play better together in actual gameplay IMO. Em/bio if your only goal is to be a pylon hero. Bio's a great set, but I'd pair it with claws or something else, especially if you hate repeats like I do.
  18. Eh, if I for some insane reason went with a patron pet and the pylon didn't kill it, I'd use it. People overthink these things. There's a difference between a build choice that requires investment, and activating hybrid/lore, which can be thrown on top of anything, and annihilating the pylon in twenty seconds. And yeah, I was very close to getting it on video last night before a miss streak, after like five pylon kills. 😞
  19. I see no issue with using it how I did it, especially considering how I included the activation, which I'd argue I wouldn't neccesarily have to do. In missions I pop it when it's up and against AVs I do the same. In the latter case it can even really help you not get murdered. Not using meltdown would be akin to not using offensive adaptation/evolving armor. If certain sets have an issue for some reason, it's worth investigating said issue. Not using it is just an unnecessary handicap.
  20. @Gobbledegook Ah, that makes sense. What rotation? I've seen people doing tf>et>bs>snipe, with the ato in TF. Seems to kneecap the potential of the set by wasting the most powerful ato.
  21. Oh, did I skim over a top time?
  22. This is pretty representative of the average pylon kill for my Energy/rad. I almost got a 1:05 a little after this, but managed to whiff TF and two ETs when the thing was at 1%, and I'm still kind of mad about it. Doom laughed at me. 😞 1:20ish despite that mistake I made is still pretty damn good for an average, though. I think if a Energy/bio were to run this rotation they could likely be in the running for new pylon record holder.
  23. Considering the general goal of the trapdoor test, I never took issue with yellows or just waiting it out. If it wasn't a timed run I'd just pop GZ/therapy/whirling and laugh like a maniac while waiting it out.
  24. Bill's comment and the whole discussion of what's 'game breaking' is always funny to me, considering how everyone now has easy access to full purple sets, in addition glad IOs that used to cost 3x the inf cap now being affordable with a single mission clear. Even without procs, the majority of people are operating at an endgame level the devs did not balance the game around the minute they hit 50 on every single alt. If you think changing procs will make characters less OP, it won't in the vast majority of cases, really. You can't reign this in without making negative, damaging changes to the game. Honestly, we average what, a patch a year? Make the horrible sets and the weaker ats stronger then everything's dandy.
