  1. I'd like a slash command that will force a reload of the custom popmenus I have in C:\Games\Homecoming\data\texts\English Then, I could edit them while in game and reload them without having to completely exit out of the game. Now, I know this is a highly controversial topic, but perhaps we can all keep cool heads and debate the matter in a civil manner.
  2. I just tried this - took a character with all 3 level shifts, started an Ouro flashback arc, went to DA, then LRT to Atlas while still in the flashback. Checked with another account to see how they look in Atlas and it says 50+1.
  3. And yet, everyone is anonymous here. I'm actually a lifelong resident of Idaho. And I'm green. When I want to be "even slightly anonymous" I play on one of my alt accounts. Kinda sus that people are afraid of making it easier to see a global, imo.
  4. It's an ideal layout for joining my badge runs, apparently.
  5. I would support something where in Options you can have more control over how you want chat to look. You can already choose to have unique colors for player names, and/or a timestamp for each line (both of which I turn on, btw). If you also had the option for it to display global as well as player name - and you are willing to sacrifice the screen space for it - I'd love to see it. And - this is very important for those of you who seem to be against everything in the suggestions forum - you DON'T HAVE TO ENABLE IT IF YOU WANT CHAT TO LOOK JUST LIKE IT DOES NOW.
  6. Are they open to bribery, and/or do you have any blackmail on them?
  7. It would be cool if - wherever they are from - when we go there we find they have less mavity than here.
  8. More to this point, I hope we never make development decisions based on the server of origin for the suggestion. If LFG was messed up on Indom but OK on the others, I would hope we would fix LFG.
  9. Just wanted to mention this is true for the league leader, too. We literally had an incident recently where the league leader couldn't make it into Abyss 1 before it filled - 45 minutes in advance. Our options then were to have the regular raid out of Abyss 2 (which would cause confusion, especially if I then ultimately ran an overflow raid in Abyss 1) or have one of the other regular Team 1 members already in the zone run it, which is what we decided to do. We initially tried to discourage people showing up so early by refusing to start the raid early, even if the zone was full well in advance. Then we've done some overflow raids to try to meet the demand. This last Sunday, I wouldn't have been shocked if we could have formed a full raid in Abyss 3 (assuming one spawns, I haven't actually been able to confirm it does) because we filled both Abyss 1 and 2 and completed at least 4 raids by 20 minutes after the scheduled start time. This is a very popular event right now - may not always be as popular, as we saw with the days of multiple full leagues in RWZ. One option out there is for us to simply stop doing them altogether and free up everyone's time. But again, I come back to why there would ever have been a need for an instanced MSR that does not exist currently for Hami raids. If I have to be in Abyss 1 50 minutes in advance of the advertised start time, that's a couple iTrials I could have been running instead of cooling my heels. With an instanced option I can still run those iTrials, then show up in Echo Park at 6pm Eastern to form my Hami raid - which could be the second or third league being formed at that time. How is that not better for everyone?
  10. I feel like we've drifted from the major points to focus more on leachers/leechers/letchers/lectures, the definitions thereof, the care and feeding of them, and their motivations in light of their lived trauma experiences. As a league leader, it would be nice to be able to show up at 6pm Eastern for a scheduled 6pm Eastern raid in a zone that can accommodate more than 50 people and be able to form a league. Along the way, league leaders can weed out bad actors by adding them, hesitantly, to our global ignore list. As a participant, it would be nice to be able to show up at 6pm Eastern for a scheduled 6pm Eastern raid in a zone that can accommodate more than 50 people and still have a shot at getting in the league. Unless you are a bad actor, of course. At least part of the impetus for building an instanced MSR was the fact that - at least on Everlasting - we were running 2 MSRs in the same zone at the same time. Once the zone was lowered to a cap of 50, the instanced version became necessary due to the demand. While that may not be an issue right now for MSRs, we have the same conditions for Hami. I can't think of an argument right now to have an instanced MSR but not an instanced Hami.
  11. My thinking on this has shifted. The initial request was due to buds, and I still firmly believe we need a bud counter and/or have them show in the mini-map. Clearing buds is required to get Hami to respawn, so I think that's only fair. Regardless of what happens with this request, I think we need a bud counter and/or locator. I'm more interested in an instanced Hami now because of how popular the event is on Excelsior. On weekends, and sometimes Fridays, we are filling 2 Abyss' at the same time. And, as Lauci alluded to, sometimes Abyss 1 is filled considerably ahead of the advertised start time. As a league leader, I don't want to have to sit in zone for an hour to secure my own spot when I could be leading other things. My concern is that this could be a permanent solution to a temporary problem, and perhaps just for 1 server. Hopefully the coding for this wouldn't be awful, especially with what was learned from creating the instanced MSR. But realistically, leaders change and the population moves from one thing to another. This event may not be nearly as popular in a few months, for all we know - or it could be even MORE popular. If I had the attention of a developer I probably could think of several other things I would want them to spend their time on that could benefit all servers for the remainder of the time the game is available. Still, having an instanced Hami would allow more people to participate and reduce leachers, plus let me run stuff up until the advertised raid time. I support the idea.
  12. I don't attempt anything more than opening time capsules on that computer. I have the graphics set as low as I can (obvi) and it still takes me 3 minutes to turn. 🙂
  13. Don't tell my employer, but at the moment, yes. Better graphics await at home.
  14. This needs to open to some kind of large map, even if it has no NPCs in it.
  15. 98 for me to get all of the badges and stuff. Gardener was the stubborn one.
  16. If I recall correctly, it was a security flaw in the sense that the username and password was stored in a clear text file. If there was some way to accomplish this without a flat text file, maybe that wouldn't be an issue. I don't mind typing the password, but the error message that pops up when I get it wrong is not dismissed by the enter key. For me, that's way more frustrating.
  17. Are you familiar with the Nino-verse and the Snarky-verse? Oklahoman is my main character, but then I created "Okie" to basically just do Hami raids. I gave him an alternate reality backstory of what I have for Oklahoman. I'm almost ashamed (but not really) to say I just created "Okie-Wan Kenokie" (brute katana/inv). Still working on him, but his bio will start something like this: A fair bit ago in a galaxy way, way over yonder....
  18. Just throwing this out there, even though I'm not sure how I feel about the idea myself. Basically, new sets of enhancements that completely change what a power does. For instance, Empathy's Regeneration Aura accepts Healing sets. So, now there is a new Healing set called "Transmogrified Damage" that can be slotted and changes it from a PBAoE heal to PBAoE damage. Or, "Transmogrified Defense" for a PBAoE defense buff. People will ask how this can get misused, or how farmers are going to exploit it. Dunno. Thought up while shaving. Didn't put a lot of thought into it.
  19. Not only do I think General should not be enabled by default, I think that you should have to answer a multi-part "3 Body Problem" style questionnaire to enable it.
  20. If that worked, we could just have a script that runs periodically. AI could easily take over my job.
