But here is the caveat.. The discussion and proceeding post within the thread with builds and changes is what makes the build sometimes.. Don't get me wrong but I have seen people post builds and then say this build is doing 4/8 when just looking at the build you already know there are doubts that is occurring. I think the talk after the build sometimes is more important. Would be nice if they sensed build data and auto-magically created a tag for the post. Like mentioned above. It sees this "bcolor=#B3CAF7]Level 50 Natural Sentinel-color][/b] bcolor=#489AFF]Primary Power Set[:] color]color=#B3CAF7]Dual Pistols bcolor=#489AFF]Secondary Power Set[:] color]color=#B3CAF7]Super Reflexesb {Had to break it, to make it appear} Level 50 Natural SentinelPrimary Power Set: Dual PistolsSecondary Power Set: Super Reflexes And creates tags accordingly. Some kind of regex because that pretty much never changes regardless of the color. OR You start the trend.. Hey moving forward when you post a build please create these tags for the build.. Maybe have a sticky on each forum stating that.. Someone sees a build thread and adds the tags. But again that would allow other people to tag your thread. So we would be self policing.. Eventually everyone would get the gist and follow along. But yet again that would require everyone to follow the same format.. So Super Reflexes would have to be Super Reflexes NOT SR, S/R, Super Reflex, Super R.. ETC..ETC... Again the only way to do this is players would have to be allowed to tag other threads. You would have to or should copy and paste right from the text of the build or add whatever combinations in between as long as you search the specific forums. But again I did find Kin builds in the Corruptors forums that helped my Mastermind build. I think the easiest would be Start a Trend with the help of the forum mods to create a sticky The other issue is we would need the option to search tags, which appears we cannot atm.- 9 replies

What is Korean Hero ? Exactly where I was going and thinking of this -
Kicked it up 4/8 and with only the first tier of the musculature I am have no issue what so ever.. level 54 Mobs of course take longer to kill but its pretty dam solid. I am really not using Caltrops TBH.. I am considering taking up Assault or even Provoke..

I created a Sentinel DP SR Ninja, but I have a Archery Ninja Blaster. Oddly enough I noticed that the Sentinel has no issues swapping between guns and sword whereas the Blaster more than often fights with invisible weapons.. Either the sword does not exist or the bow when swapping back and forth. But again no issue with the Sentinel build.. -
How this came about. I copied this build. Played it and I got my ass handed to me with every single mezz. I will take full blame for it's failure . But I hated this build.. I asked a question about the mezz, When I got no response I cleared out the IO's went with this Sentinel build. This also came from wanting a Pistol Sword Primary Set posted in suggestions. With every level 50 I do 3/8 Incarnate Alpha unlock mish because it has a decent mix of mobs with Arachnos and Council along with mezz and sleep to test the build out. First off out of the box its is CRUSHING 3/8 settings on the Incarnate runs with tons of mezz and sleep, which is never happen once. This is with the low dps of Sentinels issues and broken HOB from DP.. I did the missions and I can tell you at times I dozed off and still could not be killed by the mobs. I am sure someone will put their spin on it and make it better. Which is good for everyone.. But I can attest this for me is a solid build so far. Either Agility or Musculature for Alpha.. Whirlwind without the animation of spinning

Been messing around with it.. Unfortunately it comes back at odd moments.. at any lull and BAM you are doing the spin. -
Basically the wind affect ( or is it effect, too lazy to google atm) but without the character spinning. Would be a cool barrier type of look if it could be colored as well.

This is my build Pre changes to Trip mine. I was big on Trip mine an toe bombing but the interrupt was a pain in the backside, so I wanted just a straight shooter. Range cap hover blaster.. Went with as much recharge that I could. So got Full auto down to 17 seconds and Gun Drone down to 50 seconds.. So I get 2 Gun Drones out. My next concern was removing KB which I did. I used to be fire but just didn't feel thematic. AR Device and FIRE ?.. If they had the option to use Full Auto animation to make Bon Fire that might be cool.. a bit more immersive as it looks you are spraying fuel on the ground and lighting it up maybe.. But having a forced feedback IO in Bon Fire was noticeable when it kicked off because the seconds would jump on the recharge timer on Full Auto.. I think I was getting it down to 13 seconds at times. I decided to go Scorpion shield to get the Mechanical Spiders and get another global recharge and also use Web Envelope to keep mobs within the Ignite patch. The sad thing now with Gun Drone is you have to be Hovering away from mobs because they draw just too much aggro. I have a melee device blaster and Gun Drones are useless because they die so fast.. The other oddity is Full Auto Cone from hovering sucks if you don't line it up right.. There are times you could just hit 1 target with this from hovering too high up.. Personally I don't mind the build threads.. Wish we could keep sticky some build thread though. There is a older AR device thread that many from the start where tossing their builds in.. That was nice because you wanted AR Device of a certain flavor you could just look there and take your mix and match.

Sadly the problem is as I now recall with my Archery ninja that sometimes you are hitting with an invisible sword.. Gonna try a Sentinel DP/SR with Ninja.. The Primary would have to keep both weapons out.. Otherwise it won't work due to graphic issues.. Because the swapping of weapons will just create a series of invisible attacks with either weapon.. -

You know I do have a archery ninja.. just wasn't thinking.. But would still love to have both in hand if you know what I mean.. have some sort of stab and shoot combo would be cool. Yet another I just didn't think of honestly.. Funny My mind was just blank with these combos even have as I said Archery Ninja.. -
Just the way the coding was back then I guess.. I am sure if ported over to today standards they would be using a different coding and as you know this game would be much better.. Mind you in my head I think this is what homecoming is about.. All a test to see what can be done and the value and cost.. But that is another story.. They had to make a choice I am glad they reverted back to the original way. Otherwise these MM pets would run all over the place ALL the time.. Not just fire..

Field Medic should be auto.. Remove all interrupts from aid other AND AID SELF.. And give the endurance buff as well. Increase the endurance cost and make it auto

I like the idea but I also see the issues with it. DISCLAIMER For me always in the back of my mind this is nothing but a test by Cryptic and the Devs.. I feel that if Cryptic likes what the Devs are doing here they will consider reopening up shop on the game as there is no game out here again like this one.. Champions came in strong but fizzled out.. Thus this is why the Devs are very big on keeping to the game ideas etc and not doing anything sloppy. I mean its free to play.. They get nothing out of it beyond donations.. I get completely and respect they want to do good work because they simply want to do good work.. I mean running a MMO server and such is a extremely GREAT resume builder for anyone involved.. I wish I had the skills. That being said.. I think anything to bring the game into 2020 with new concepts is a great idea.. Again I think AH and its conception was good back then.. But today it should be revamped.. I always felt powers sets should be power sets and between changing color and where powers originate from via the costume builder was the way to go. Maybe have IO unlocks for different powers.. Wondering which Interface to pick vs AV specific ITF Romulus. So Degenerative can stack 4 times with HP removal of 1000 HP per stack, so that would be 4k in less hit points to peel off. Reactive just for the extra fire DPS.. The resistance doesn't seem like a lot.. Or something else.. I am leaning towards Degenerative atm.

As DP is a mix of melee and range and your big attack ( HOB ) is at Melee range I went with Range Defense cap when needed and Smash Lethal Defense cap for hail of bullets. You could go SL resist cap, but I am all or nothing.. Defense cap means 1 in 13 hits will come in.. With Aggro cap you will have mobs standing around until killed. Energize should be reslotted up a bit. But this is a quick build to get in in the ball park I am positive someone will now jump in and fix it up.. Because its easier to bitch and moan about how others play and try to dictate how they play. Nerf what they like, remove what they like and then wonder why they stop playing your "great vision of a better healthier game" You should look at my Petless mastermind post on Torchbearer forums, then come back and tell me if okay to post an idea and get like minded people. it's amazing the annoyance people express. I see no difference then Tanker Tuesdays or some other all AT team up. Yes they could have moved on but they just had to express their contempt. But no one is saying get rid of AE Farms.. There are already nerfs in to prevent AE farming to some degree. But it still doesn't stop players from doing it. On Torchbearer there are times I am yes farming or PL a toon and I can see more people asking to join a farm at level 1 then responding to the player who is trying to form DFB team.. Here is the reality farming a toon from 1 to 50 gets you about 200 million inf plus a bunch of recipes which can include purple drops as well. 200 million is a decent number to make a build depending on the AT and how much purple you want in it. I can tell you most of my builds are a mix and I can make a build at this price point that can solo 3/8 setting.. Which for me is good enough. My test is usually PL to 50. Slot the build I had planned and then run the Incarnate mission to unlock the Alpha slot on 3/8 and see how it rolls and discover what I am lacking or what are the major weaknesses are. So I didn't read any place here ( which I might have missed ) where it said nerf or take away something to make regular teaming better. What I did read is give a better benefit to teaming outside of AE.. I am happy that I can PL my crazy petless ( or semipetless ) masterminds to level 50 in AE because I know no team would have me and that is okay and I UNDERSTAND IT and why.. Sad part is everyone would take my standard IO mastermind with pets though on a team just because they see what they expect to see when they look at a mastermind.. Little do they know that this weaker build could not do or withstand game wise what my petless mastermind can do. Perception... -

This build can not survive without Clarion.. It is very weak vs status affects.. I created this build and with any build I always test drive them through the Alpha Incarnate missions to see where it stands.. As I mentioned above this build cannot do 3/8. -
How do you get your badge info onto that application ? Does it pull it in once I fill out the name, server and arch type ? Do you I need to import this data somehow ? Do I need to log in with the page open have it auto pull this data down ?

I am guilty of PL myself way too much. Though I enjoy the teaming and back in the day I had zero issues just starting a team. But today I just don't.. Don't ask me why.. I just don't.. I don't need to tell you doing the comic con farm you can get a level one toon up to 30s in 5 missions. Though I extremely do enjoy teaming and such. Radio missions are cool but running story arcs is interesting. DFB is good idea. I think Merits would entice me not to PL. As an example if I need merits I will get on a 50 and just look around for any and all TF.. I collect a few hundred to transfer over to a toon I am going to PL to covert some IOs. What if they had some reward that you could build up running content BUT couldn't use until you were 50.. EG you get 500 merits at 50 if 90% of your game play is not AE missions. How about you get extra Merits for every player in the group ? At least at 50 you could have 500 bonus merits which would equal almost a full set of purple IOs.. It can go towards your toon or bought and sold for an income boost. -
