  1. Not my build.. EDIT - Wrong Build and realize you are mentioning the same thread. I think if you are going to pick up Scorpion Shield then you should get the cap at least. I get it, but those builds ( which is one below ) gives you smash/lethal and Range Defense cap. I am doing 3/8 without incarnates. I am sure I could do 4/8 with them. I posted in a thread further down and then the build was improved by 2 others. This is what I went with eventually.. The issue you will have is Gun Drone will die fast.. I Posted in suggestions and got some backing on this from other players. Once you play it for a few minutes you will see how fast it gets aggro and gets killed off. Hopefully the Devs hear enough complaints that they do something about it.
  2. I've had this issue where it would either give me some odd number on the convert OR I could not convert at all.. Relogging fixed the issue..
  3. I have a DP Kin.. The build is on the forums.. Darkir actually helped out A LOT with the final build.. I think barring any changes with the new IOS out that are out. That it is the best DP kin build around.. Really keeps you in the mix..
  4. Since Homecoming decided to open up this can of worms and I really feel they should have stuck to just running the game server and such.. I will jump in.. Where was BLM when David Dorn a retired police officer was killed by another Black man and ridiculed as they streamed it live on Facebook as he died. Mind you I don't want BLM to derail anything of what is going on with Floyd.. But at a minimum make a statement condoning these actions. But they didn't do or say a thing. I think Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez ( AOC ) is dumb as a stump.. But she did something.. She didn't like what she seen, stopped being a Bartender and ran for office and WON... She didn't sit on the side lines and complain.. I will get back to this.. I do not condone what this officer did to Floyd.. One of those cops had 4 days in the streets.. He didn't know anything. He was just following what the senior guys were doing that is common with any type of law enforcement or military job... I believe they made comments but it fell on deaf ears.. I am pretty darn sure this isn't the first time this cop put his foot on someones back.. But is the first time someone died from him doing that.. But someone is going to have a hard time proving that was racially motivated. Nonetheless, Many Cops ( active and retired ) and Civilians since then have been killed or hurt because of this incident that had noting to do with the Cop or Floyd.. Is this okay ? I surely don't think so. Long gone are the day of an Eye for an Eye ( code of hammurabi ).. The justice system and the laws we have in place might not be perfect but this is all we have ATM.. Looting, destroying property, destroying others peoples lives and dream and killing other people ( yes those cops are people ) doesn't bring back Floyd and surely does not fix anything.. You think Cops are going to be more understanding when one of their own gets killed.. Absolutely not.. Are there instances of police brutality of course and do cops get arrested of course.. Not everything in which a cop kills someone is police brutality even if someone says it is.. Not everything is white cop vs POC a racially motivated incident . But if you feel so unjust and you think something has to be changed.. I suggest you do like AOC... Go make a stand, become a cop and make those changes you think need to be done.. Maybe then you might see that its not so black and white in thought as you think.. NOT everything is about race.. Again what happen to Floyd was tragic but it definitely wasn't a White vs Black thing like many try to make it.. And it definitely isn't all cops are bad and racist thing either as many are trying to make it out and demonize Law Enforcement.. I almost wish they would disband police so people would be BEGGING to have them back shut up with some of the nonsense some people are spewing..
  5. You can't really necro a suggestion thread. Much better to have one thread with 50 post then 5 threads repeating the same thing in my opinion. Same as discussing a build or posting a build in an existing thread about certain builds.. EG AR Device thread on Blaster comes to mind.. Its a great thread to see a bunch of AR Device builds in one place.. Why have to click on different thread. I think though a LONG thread can be unruly it does show the Devs that there is a bunch of interest in a specific topic. Instead of 10 small threads over the course of 5 months that when not looked in totality look like just some small faction of people slightly interested in a specific change.. They might not see 10 threads with 50 unique posters posting. But they will see 1 thread with 50 posters because its a long paged thread and stays on top long enough.. Which is something I brought up a while back when suggested started.. Who is counting up these request ? Or is it someone from the teams comes here and notices some hot topic for that day or week and missed the other big topics from 2 weeks ago. Again this just my opinion on this.
  6. The biggest example brought up has been pimps and ladies of the evening.. I honestly don't care. But the rules should be ULTRA CLEAR and there should be real consequences. Changing names and costumes don't do anything. You can change your name any time. and you have costumes saved on YOUR PC.. You could change it back and keep the generic names.. The image is still there.. If they are limited in staff and time they shouldn't create something like this that is going to cause more issues and waste more time for them.. I think they need to make it super clear they are not going to waste their time investigating and asking questions and such.. I would even go as far as saying create a document which is an amendment to the EULA specifically for this and a player has to sign with user id and password and save it as a flat file. Like a digital signature.. When you get I didn't know.. You send them back the doc.. You signed this with your account ID and password.. I didn't sign it, this is my kids account he did.. It clearly said on all amendments that an adult as to sign for their kids. It also explains how you could REDO the signing for your kids if they "accidentally" signed instead of you. The player gets a in game copy minus the password and if possible a email sent to the registered email address for the account.. There should be no flip flopping, there should be no we didn't ban player A because of this excuse but we banned player B. Or we gave everyone a grace period but now we are banning because its too much for us.. So Player A again gets a slide because he was in this grace period but Player B gets banned because now they had enough.. Again I don't really care this isn't something that would offend me personally. I work in cyber security and retired Law Enforcement. I've seen many times what happens when policy is not made clear. It actually causes more work trying to fix the issue or investigate the incident. Because people are free to play ignorant to the policy or rules and we need to prove otherwise..
  7. I just wanted to back this thread as well. The "COTTAGE RULE" was full of good intentions BEFORE Invention Sets and the set bonuses they supply and Incarnates.. Force Field was greatly loved back then because it gave everyone the defenses they needed. It was even very useful in base raid PVP. But as the game evolved they added things that just made Force Field very much not needed. But because of the cottage rule they couldn't make any constructive changes to it. Nonetheless, my simple suggestion is create an alternate power the player can choose some similar to VEATS.. Honestly I would like all sets to get a VEAT rework.. But we could start with Force Field...
  8. Yea no clue on how someone might want to either go with incarnates to obtain it or rework the build. Incarnates is the easy route but I hate relying on incarnates to shore up weaknesses in a build. I don't play doms but I always consider starting one..

  10. Never built this. This is a change up from an Electric savage build. 1 sec off perma dom. Positional defense cap minus a bit short on negative and of course psionic. Shadow Field is good for another 15% defenses, but NOT Perma. It is a good drop when you are getting defense debuffed. Endurance is a bit short. Endurance use is 1.44 so recovery should be at least 3.44 currently at 2.88. This is without incarnates.   11. I am guessing you are completely relying on Barrier for the defense an resistance buff. But that does degrade over time. No clue what mission your doing I am assuming comic con fire. Between the Lore pet, comic con cop and you that can be a lot of aggro. Even on my Max resist and defense cap brute I can some unexpected hits sometimes.. How you dealing with all that aggro when Barrier degrades.
  12. I tried it on my Semi petless Boy with his Giant Robot toon ( Robot Boy and G O L I A T H ) My concept was have some emotes and then have the Robot Detonate. Basically get a bit immersive and learn a bit about emote and pet emotes.. Nonetheless, as a reminder it is on a 5 minute recharge timer. So once you used based on your recharge rate it will take a whole 5 minutes to reuse again.. I tested this power several times which you can imagine is a pain since you have to wait 5 minutes per test. I did as mentioned and just picked up blank build and slotted it with damage accuracy and recharge.. I also picked up burn out for this dummy build to get it up twice at least.. I used it against GRAY CON mobs and missed several mobs a few times.. I get the whole luck of the dice roll etc.. But as I stated in another thread for a full 5 minute recharge this thing better be SUPER NUKE... Sadly it is NOT... I cannot express how sad and disappointing this power is.. Again 5 MINUTE TIMER.. This thing has to shoot rainbows and Unicorns.. Shower you with Influence and kill everything in a BIG BIG radius.. Again it does not..
  13. I say make what customization you can now and worry about the rest later. It is, what it is.. If Robots and beast are last on the list, as much as it sucks again be happy for someone else or roll one of those new custom toons. You have 1000 character slots.. As far as questionable customization of henchmen. Add to the log in ULA that its a perma ban if they any complaints about inappropriate henchmen attire. Ban the account, the email address and be done. No second chances.. No I'm sorry that was my kids account, he or she didn't know any better. ETC.. Even if the player made the henchmen and never shows them except in their base.. If someone complains.. DONE !..
  14. I pretty much said the same in my opening post.. I have an AR Device and it works very well as a hover blaster.. But with my DP Device.. Sucks big time.. What I do notice is on a council map I farm when I jump down from the 3rd floor down to the first the Gun Drones sits about 2nd floor level. So sitting up high it works well. If they could somehow work it in where it follow but at a higher level that might help out. But then I could also see the AI getting stuck trying to go high in a cave mission where it is more involved in trying to get high up as required instead of attacking So after circling around on this I just say get rid of the taunt.. Just don't fix what isn't broken..

  16. Gun Drone.. Love the power.. Cool looking floating gun. I was very vocal back in the day to change it to the floating gun. Nonetheless.. If you are playing a Hover Blaster Gun drone works pretty well because the air gap between you and the mobs. BUT if you are NOT.. OMG... Forget it.. Gun Drone aggro will pull mobs that I just used Hail of bullets, Mighty Total Radial Judgement and Trip Mine on.. HOB has a knock down, Mighty has a knock up ( because I picked that option ) and trip mine has a KB and a proc to change it to KD.. So this combo keeps all the mobs in one spot.. The Gun Drone can only target one Mob.. But the taunt aura will pull 1 to 3 mobs on it. It literally becomes useless for short range characters.. It gets one shotted by purple con or double teamed and one shotted by 2 orange con mobs. I can summon 3 gun drones with burn out and even with 3 gun drones one barely survives until the next fight. I have tried summoning them trying to keep them back behind me and then creep up to engage thee mobs at range but mobs again will literally run past me to attack the Gun Drone. I have no clue why this put in or what Dev was upset at devices that needed to put this in..
  17. Great thing about SR is you can defense cap all positional defenses.. Which means you can do 3/8 easy..
