I had it on my kin a while ago. As Redlynne mentioned it would knock down a bunch of mobs and then keep draining endurance.. It was pretty darn fast. I realized it was a mistake and it was much better off for me to knock them back and into range cap distance, then keep some pinned down. Love the graphics of Repel and love the concept of it but really not a great power. But I still have it. Just one slotted with Forcefeed back proc now.

I think the concept falls into Sentinel Archtype since they are Ranged with Melee sets. EG the link in the video made me think of Full Auto from Assault Rifle. I see this more of a unique Sentinel Archtype but with the GRAPHIC options to go Toon. EG pull one Power from each tier from specific sets and mash them together. I see this more as a Graphic request to a new power set.

I would even go with not shaded when in combat.

Its about the recharge. Your also talking to a guy who makes defense capped petless and semi petless masterminds. If you can solo 3/8 to 4/8 you already won COH.

No that was fighting. In the end all good as the final build corrected these issues. Will test out the final build in few missions and see how it rolls.

Don't Wasn't useful Mentioned it above but will re-mention. Burnout DID NOT work on Spiderlings. They just stayed grayed out. So was only useful for Gun Drone and wasn't worth the power for 3 Gun Drones. Went with Assault instead. Put slot enhancers in 3 of the recharge for each pet, Spiderling and Gun Drone. 5 Each. Spiderling went from 209 to 202. Gun Drone only went down fractions of a second. Tried to add 10 Slot Enhancers to Hasten but noticed no changes in overall recharge on the powers. so it was a waste of 50 Merits. For some reason once I respeced My range defense dropped 😭 down to 39 for that last build. Which means I must have been bugged somehow and was getting extra points somewhere in my old build. Edit for more sadness. Burnout does not work on spiderlings.. So you only get one set. But you do get 3 gun drones Another issue I am seeing is my defenses are at 40 now with slot enhancers but it is dropping down to 38 after sometime for some reason. So now I am bugged in the opposite direction. I was getting 45 before But all I changed is one IO set for another. This fixes the problem Back to range defense cap. Burnout wasn't useful for 3 gun drones, so changed out for Assault. Could have went Maneuvers and Assault but it was more endurance. Strange you posting this, when I just posted something similar in the thread below in the AR Device thread. I just respeced into my last build post there.

Just got Spiderlings to Perma.. Expedient Reinforcements was the answer.. Which means with Burnout. You now have 3 Gun Drones and 3 sets of Spiderlings ( 6 Total ).. You can even put LOTG in Hover and change out that set for more recharge. This is for sure my new build. Yet even more edits. 1 LOTG in Hover. You might need to enchance the Defense IOS to 55 to get you range defense cap. But you put the other slot from hover into Burnout. It changes that from 435 to 398 recharge. Double gun drone for 50 seconds.. Double spiders for 35 seconds.. But its PERMA.. Instead of Burnout you could put it into Caltrops for the Posi Proc.. You will have 3 caltrops up at once.. Add IO enchancers in all the recharges I was even able get quicker recharge so Spiderlings are at double for 40 seconds now and of course Burnout is now at 393. Definitely the new build for me.. Here is my build for comparison. Range Cap Hover Blaster. Says 38 but its 45 in game. No clue. Double Gun Drone on a consistent basis due to recharge. On the team with a Kin I can sometimes pull 3. Full auto at 17 second recharge. BON FIRE - Once you know how to use it is great. You have to stand in front of the mid way point of the CENTER of the Bon Fire. This will make mobs bounce back. If you stand behind the Midway point they bounce behind you and to the sides of you depending on the angle they come at you. End result you start to get surrounded. You will notice the recharge when the proc goes off in Bon Fire. Smoke is going to give you more defenses. This is more of a hit and run type of play style. I am mostly near the ground but when it gets bad I just hover to range. I'm shocked when I die it is so rare. I rarely use char and I use melt armor on big bosses. I used other epics and ancillaries even munition but as much a fire is so out of thematic, Bon Fire is really good at keeping mobs away. I mean it really really is. But with that being said. I came up with another idea based on the Device changes as well. Again remember Mids has to be 38 Range Defense cap to be 45 in game. Again no clue whats wrong but as shown above its 45. You would then be able to do Double/ Tripe Gun Drone and Double Spiderling with Burnout then add a third gun drone once recharged. Spiderling is 12 seconds off Perma. So overall you would have 2 gun drones and a spiderling out on average. Figured it out What I will say is if they make changes to Traps like they did Device Trip Mine will be very good because of the no interrupt. And you can still fight with Trip mine if the pets die. This is the one thing you can't do with Time. I could see the two being active but Oil Slick proc of lady grey is going off much less during fire instance. I was trying to keep the oil part on for a bit was afraid of it timing out. also seeing the numbers for the mobs getting hit and missed would help a lot. I would like to see the Proc events laid out like they do for Combat.

I am hearing what TheSpiritFox is saying and have to agree. You will need to bring the mobs to you with Traps or you will have to bring traps into the mix. Meaning you will have to make the pets stay away from the fight at first.. Then move into the middle of the mobs at melee range and then just let them attack you first. Take the Alpha and then proceed to direct pets to attack as you drops your traps. It would be pretty much Poison Traps with the Lockdown Proc to open up followed by Triage Beacon. I would think Provoke would be a must. Oppressive Gloom is a great too for getting agrro when combined with Defense Cap. Again tested this out without being defense capped on would get wiped out every time. The problem is you are using too many pools to get defense capped with my build. You would need a way to get rid of either the fighting pool or leadership pool and pick up those set bonuses someplace else. EG the Unique from steadfast protection and Gladiator armor is 6 points to defenses. I would get rid of Seeker drone and replace it with the PET cone attack maybe. Then maybe pick up Aid Other and possibly Aid Self.. I would not get rid of Triage Beacon. On my build it is pumping out 200%+ of regeneration. With recharge you can have 2 out for 30 seconds window. Those 3 heals would be good for the pets. I could say get rid of trip mine but it really does good damage and it is melee. Maybe get rid of soul storm as well. for another attack. EDIT Playing around with this a bit and I am NOT coming up with anything useful. Short on Defense cap and short on slots for powers to get the defense cap. EDIT 2 I posted the wrong build. This build is not reliant on pets for Defense cap. But still running into the same issue. Just something doesn't feel right.. The amount of time Oil Slick is up compared to Fire is much less. Just appears there is too much hidden data to get some clear answers. It would be helpful if more data was produced in the chat log regarding procs. Basically display the roll like they do with attacks. If I could see that 7 out of 8 failed the 15% chance then I would feel more comfortable. Again look at the Colored doc.. doing a control F for bonus will show you Lady Grey is 2 vs 1 to Posi.

I've uploaded the chat logs.. The Chatrevised 6 is a truncated version of the whole chat log just for the oil slick attack and it is COLOR CODED.. Purple for OIL Slick and Negative damage ( Lady Grey Proc ) and RED for Fire and and Energy Damage { Positron Proc ) Nothing in the chat log that I am worried about anyone seeing. EG I was solo so no conversations ETC.. Only my character names. The Oil Slick part is right at the beginning of the chat for the most part. The rest of the chat is my other toons logging in after testing. Wyld Hunter is the character in question. I would start with the color coded one and and just verify with the chat log and spot check my work. EG Match up the bonus numbers against the times on both.. I was incorrect in the Procs going off. The Negative Energy from Lady Grey went off much more then the Positron in the Fire. Pretty much 2 to 1. Overall I would say something is broken. Because I am running 3/8 setting, so there are a bunch of mobs. Lady Grey Proc is only hitting one or two or mobs when Oil Slick is alive. Positron Energy is only hitting one per fire activation. Granted both of these are SECONDS in time as you will see. But if there are 8 mobs in the patch shouldn't the Proc be going off against all 8 mobs. It is almost as if the PPM is only picking X mobs and firing off. I would have assumed it was trying to hit all the mobs within the Oil Slick / Fire. You will also notice that for some strange reason twice in the middle of the fire proc you will see an Oil Slick Proc going off. Another is if you follow the Oil Slick text at one point it does a auto hit statement against the mobs. Again only time I seen this in the chat. Again if you look at the color coded text it will stand out. Again, something isn't right.. Either we are missing text that is in the background that might leak out once in a while. Maybe the chat log isn't made to pump out all this data. So it set up to get whatever it can be drops the rest. Sort of Best Effort type of thing. I will do yet another quick test with both Posi proc and Javelin Proc to see if I get 2 procs going off in fire. Again what I expect to see is a chat log filled with Fire attacks mobs 1 through 8 and rolls a chance to proc ( whatever that is ) and then does damages based on success. What I found interesting was the yellow which pretty much shows me killing the Oil Slick: to produce the Fire: Another thing I noticed is almost every time this occurred at the END of the Fire: sequence in which Oil slick would drop one last proc. 2019-11-23 14:19:48 Oil Slick: MISSED Behemoth Overlord!! Redid some quick testing.. went into mission. dropped Oil slick and ignited it.. Went back in the chat log. Went to bottom of log. Did CTRL F - Bonus Direction Up.. I found the bonus hits from both energy and lethal. So I am wondering now if Touch of lady grey proc will work on both Oil and Ignited. If so that would be the best proc to put in as your getting it on both pets.. But from what I am understanding I think the answer will be no it will not work when ignited.
