  3. First off DOAC Wow.. I loved that game.. Played with Shadowclan.. RP guild.. Was great, great fun.. the PVP was awesome.. Great ideas for its time.. As you know, big petless mm player here.. Had a concept of a Time Thugs or Dark Thugs, last pet only and gang war. Build out my character to look like last toon. Call him Nega Scott. Like from Scott Pilgrim. and go the route of melee attacks. My question I posted in General discussion and will ask here. Anyone ever play a Smash Lethal defense cap only build ? I never did. I am always defense cap. I would forgo resistance over defense cap. It has served me extremely well. But I also realize I might be missing out on creating much better builds if Smash Lethal is viable with Smash Lethal resistance cap. For me as I mentioned in the past, Petless and Semi Petless is weak already for many reasons. Lacking defenses is just adding insult to injury. Currently working Smash Lethal and Range cap based on the other thread.
  4. Pretty much as the title says.. I am a big positional defense cap player. I am aware though of Smash and Lethal being a big component in many attacks. I was wondering if anyone who is only running Smash Lethal defense cap can express the game play on such a build. Maybe share the build so I can see what they are playing ETC.. Currently working on a Smash Lethal Range defense cap build. But if I went Smash Lethal with Smash Lethal resistance cap I can open up a few more doors in the build. Just trying to get the most out of this build. Its a real eccentric build. I play a lot of petless masterminds. I have a farmer toon, I have regular 50 IOed toons for all end game play. Now I am playing out of the box of standard builds to see what can be done.

  13. This is what I got following your power choices, but I got rid of your attacks. You have room for 1 power. You're at 43 S/L defense.. You definitely can make 45%.. You still have many slots left and spore cloud. If you could increase range and aoe to close to 28% depending on the scenario or setup, you would be defense capped with spore cloud. But seeing S/L is a large component in many attacks I think you will be safe with the heals as well. So its either Type defense kicking in or S/L component kicking in. So you have several situational safety nets here. Defense cap is 1 in 13 hits coming in. You have a some really good heal choices.   14. I hate asking but I need to ask. Would it be possible to migrate some attacks over to different animations, like weapons. E.G. Black Wand and Nemesis Staff along with the New Force of Will along with even maybe sorcery to a Guns, Staves, Wands, Hands. It would just help for thematic and concept reasons. It would just open up a slew of concepts to character creation beyond just the costume of the character.

  19. I don't want to derail the whips only mastermind thread with non whips builds. Robot Traps - Last pet only. Theme: A boy with his Giant robot, which he blows up from time to time. Would buy the hover board. I don't know if the hover board is a replacement for flight or just another way of flying but you need to have flight. Otherwise would go with the backpack jet packs. Or use temps. Last 2 powers questionable. But they do help. Would love to make this toon a bunch of emotes. EG when blowing up the giant robot the kid would say different things. Like Kaboom and then cycle through different emotes so you don't see the same thing repeatedly.   21. Dude if my build is better then why reinvent the wheel. Nothing wrong with copying someone else's build if its better for the time being. Maybe someone else will come around and tweak it up a bit more and guess what.. I will switch up to that build. What I can tell you getting Aid self was very useful. Again only so much you can do with these builds. The road has less options. Currently running around on my Whip Traps. I am holding out hoping the Device changes come to Traps related to trip mine. I was also thinking of making a Robot Traps with a kid and just the last robot. Give him some name like Boy with the Giant Robot. Giant Robot Boy. Put him in kids cloths with a space helmet and cape and pick up the gun powers. Now that I have the ability to PL myself it isn't much work. But my main account is filling up with petless masterminds. Seems to be the only thing entertaining me beyond my AR Device toon.

  23. As I read it, What purrfekshawn is saying, is you buff the FFG with the robot upgrades instead of the pets. Then BEFORE the FFG times out, if you have some missing robots that got killed during the fight. Just resummon the missing robots and then resummon the FFG and doing this will automatically upgrade all the pets that were NOT upgraded. I have seen when you resummon the FFG that the robots all go into upgrade mode. I will test this out and confirm. Yea its a bug but it will save you endurance and time upgrading in the middle of a fight if this is correct. During a big fight if my big guy goes down the first thing I do is resummon him and use the 2nd upgrade first because I want him to fire off swarm missiles ASAP to give me some breathing room.

  25. Just wanted to echo the same sentiments. I had enough recharge to have 2 gun drones out for 30 seconds. Now one doesn't even last to have 2 out. Unless I am not fighting. I noticed the aggro issue right away. Oddly enough it used to be a pet that was on the ground and planted so you had to wait for the recharge to get another, then they changed it to flying which was great. Now it just getting clobbered way too fast.
