Right now Im in the mode of I will do the video and read up on this original proc thread to see if I can find what I need to have set up in the chat channel to see this damage.. ATM from the screen shot I submitted above for Pet Damage 2 window. I see nothing scrolling. The Chat log is showing me dropping Oil Slick but nothing more. Just not home to be on the game or I would be doing it now..

Go to the Thugs Traps thread below and just copy my build for Robot Traps and swap out the pets for Necro. Defense capped. Decent recharge for double Triage beacon for 30 seconds. Oppressive Gloom even fits the theme for you.

Yes I was thinking of going that route and just show a video as well. But I figured there isn't that much to select for a channel. Thus the screenshots. Maybe a screen shot in return of what I should have in a chat channel would help. But I have the posi proc and javlin proc and only have seen the Posi proc so far once in the chat.

I agree. As mentioned above Sir Myshkin is getting procs to occur with just Oil Slick pre-ignition.

I've had my pets wiped from a good AOE many of times so I can relate. To add to this is when you resummon pets you are practically drained of all endurance and they are on recharge. Nothing worse then getting a 2nd wipe. Doesn't have to be an AV either it could be just a high level setting with a bunch of mobs like Cots firing off a bunch of AOE attacks. But this issue is not far fetched. -

I would agree up until I kept hearing can't change mastermind pets because they are "baked in", coding. ETC.. Then I see a video from another gaming server in which you can pick different mastermind pets..

ritiki monkeys on the Island in PI. Green con mobs Please see the response by Sir Myshkin as he is stating the initial drop before igniting is procing.. I created a new tab as mentioned. I even started hovering over the mobs to see if they had any damage. I went back to my old tab to see and as you can see the chat log produces the proc. The only Bonus that came up with from that incident yesterday.. I hovered over the mobs dropping oil slick at least 10 times with nothing in the chat log. Unless I have some thing NOT enabled that it won't produce in the chat log. Point me to what should be doing to set this up correctly and I would be happy to try it out. But I just am not seeing the procs going off like listed above. I am honestly almost becoming skeptical about this.

This is what I created and I also looked at the chat log. I am NOT getting any damage numbers while Oil Slick is NOT ignited at this time. I used the other chat window as I could see that one Hit from bonus energy. Doing a CTRL F for Bonus is easy enough in the chat log. I am NOT getting anywhere near the numbers your reporting in the chat log. The only one I am getting is the one I missed yesterday.

Appears I was missing it.. I will do some more testing and parsing for the keyword BONUS This I definitely will be looking for.. Sorry no clue why missing it.. I kept adding channels because I thought I had the wrong ones. Waiting 30 seconds each time is a pain in the backside.

No.. That damage is from me lighting up the Oil slick with explosive blast ( AOE ) and hitting the mob with it..

Storm Tip.. Hurricane - If you push mobs too close against the wall with Hurricane they will roll off the side of the wall between your Hurricane and the wall, thus escaping the Hurricane. So you need to know/Learn/Practice how much you should push mobs against a wall with Hurricane without having them be pushed out.

I tried on the GM in PI and the monkeys.. I see the fire damage.. But I see no damage with just the oil When Ignited I see nothing either.. I selected all the pet damage.. I will post screen shots ... I also have the chat log enabled.. I will look through that now and redo.. Tell me what I need to have active in the chat window. I see the fire damage but I see no procs going off.. I don't even see the numbers from the procs as its a steady 10 damage from the fire I see the damage from other procs EG in Raven I have Positron and that comes up..

Just spent 30 minutes looking at Oil Slick. I have Oil Slick slotted with the following Javelin chance for Lethal Damage Positron Blast chance for energy The Procs do not go off either when Oil Slick is Ignited or NOT ignited. It was easy to read the numbers coming up and I could see them in the combat logs and pet logs tab I created to specifically add the pet logs to this tab as well.

I have a several ( 5 or 6) petless/semi-petless masterminds doing 3/8 setting solo, Including one which is Beast/Trick Arrow. You can't get anymore Anti-FOTM then that. I have a AR/TA Blaster.

My question is how is this solo ? Personally I am SOOO ingrained on Defense Cap of some sort I don't see surviving without any defenses. I am guessing purple (lucky) Inspirations, but only so much you can have and only so much you can make out of 3. Eventually your luck will run out. ( Pun intended)... So how does this build fair on 3/8 setting for example

Would be nice if you could pay a bit more in Enhancement Converters and be able to move one up or one down in the IO set. Either have a set path so you know what is before or after this IO in a set or display the IO before and after the IO you currently have. This way someone might say the IO I want is 2 away from what I currently have. I would rather pay the 8 or 10 converters to shift it up or down 2 slots to get what I want instead of taking my chance and spending the 3 converters.

Credit to another poster on these boards, sorry don't know the thread to point you at it. There is a sort of "FEATURE" that is specific to Traps and upgrades for pets.. You have the ability to use the 2 upgrades against Force Field Generator ( FFG ), and you will see the FFG spark on the bottom of it as you upgrade it. Doing this WILL UPGRADE THE PETS as well. The benefit. Some big bad AV comes along and wipes out some or all your pets BUT YOUR FFG SURVIVES. If you re-summon all your pets AND THEN resummon FFG all your pets will be instantly upgraded. You will see the action of them getting upgraded but it will be both upgrades. I tested and verified this. You just have to remember to resummon FFG before it times out or you lost the ability to do this.

Look down at the thugs trap post down below it’s there I go dark because of oppressive gloom. At defense cap and only defense cap it’s great to generate aggro and maintain aggro with provoke. I tried it without defense cap and got crushed. There is is a system I run with traps. i drop triage beacon and then caltrops in front of the beacon at the tip of the green glow. Then between that is poison traps. Once poison traps And gloom kick off I drop a trip mine follow by another poison trap and then another mine. Between the poison trap gloom and the lockdown proc it works very well. Sometimes I get a lot of aggro as ffg and mortar get aggro. So I could have 3 groups on me sometimes. My first summon if it goes bad is assault bot with 2nd upgrade which gives it burn patch. if you went with another epic I would not take trip mine because it just is difficult to place it without oppressive gloom. The smallest hits break it. hopefully they bring the change from device over to traps and it will be great and then it would allow any epic with a bit more freedom

You have Vengeance turned on in your build.. Turn it off and see your not capped. If your doing 3/8 then not an issue.

Beast Mastery // Trick Arrow :: The Worst Conceivable Matchup?

That made me laugh out loud.. I just wanted to clarify something.. I have a second account that I PL all my toons to 50 now.. I will tell you this clearly, Petless or Semi Petless Masterminds could not be leveled without either going regular route of having all the pets and respecing at 50 or getting Power leveled because the ENDURANCE drain is just too massive for them without incarnates. Meaning leveling Petless with just attacks is TOO MUCH.. The Mastermind attacks are double the endurance of any other archtype for the same attack. 200 to 300 million is my max. I usually power level the toon to 50.. Transfer the about 100k or a bit more over to the toon in question. Then pull out the other toons and transfer over any IOs, Merits, converters, ETC to make the build. Those unique IOs are expensive at 20+ Million a each.. I created a build for a Typed defense cap Dom that needs about 350 million just for those unique IOs.. That build won't happen any time soon. As related to Procs. I need to test out Oil Slick because I do not honestly see the procs working.. I will go over to that island with all the monkeys and do some testing for the procs. -
I didn't read much of what was posted.. Being honest.. Willpower will get you full positional defense capped. Not many blaster types can do that.. You will be able to solo 4/8 without incarnates being applied.
