  1. I would generally go with no later than any fictionalized versions of real people that appear in the actual lore. Which I think stops around Korean War era for CoX? Might be misremembering.
  2. The main thing I remember is Dr. Brainstorm created power proliferation between sets.
  3. The Paragon Times was fun. But at the same time, eh, I'm not sure it needs to be something that devs devote further free time to that could ostensibly be spent improving the actual game. A little torn.
  4. Kheldians are established to bond with hosts and be able to energy copy prior hosts. Due to dev limitations as it is not feasible to design multiple unique prior hosts, we get the Nova and the Kurukt/Ruktur (lobster). Now, having kheldian shapeshifter effects assigned to your own costumes so I could do something like make a big metallic alien bear or something for my lobster form and then maybe decide "I like nova, I'll keep that one" would be great. Also, thank you Sai, Videra, and Luci for showing how great khelds can be a 4* content. Nice to see the AT shine.
  5. I am, obviously, not a dev, but I assume it has to be harder than the weapon holster point stuff that's been constantly causing little issues with weapons animations and drawing, because weapons are technically NPCs so some stuff was just done in a very jank way. Generally anything the devs went "oh no, we're not doing that, that's a nightmare" was possible, but, it was after yeaaaaars. Also Khelds were the least played/2nd least played AT (assuming we can extrapolate our stats for ATs to live, which seems fair, as they were initially level locked and VEATs wouldn't have existed for a while to then become the least played) so you'd have to look at it from the point of "is the work we put into this worth the time allotted and our current budget," which was probably a no.
  6. Actually, much like before we got power customization to the level we got them, they described the process of changing the Kheldian forms around as a living nightmare.
  7. I would absolutely do it, especially if they found a way to put the transparency + aura on those costumes to help it along.
  8. MinFX for forms is worth it just because then I can make my own alien costume forms and say that those are the forms my Kheldian absorbed.
  9. No. Why would I think that?
  10. Well the old devs definitely didn't hold to that with the malta stun nade lol
  11. Because it's probably the best toggle in the game right now. Debuffs, buffs, deals damage. Does alot more than other toggles that are all priced at .52e/s (Darkest Night, Radiation Infection, Disruption Aura, Sonic Repulsion [.65e/s for this one])
  12. End cost in Marine Affinity isn't real, you can give yourself a second Stamina and it's perma out the box along with 20~ end.
  13. Did your Tank get end drained by Malta and thus detoggle? Because that seems like it'd answer that.
  14. anyway, I fought for whitecap to be how it is in beta because it's good, makes sense, and maximizes fun, thank you
  15. the range boost is synergistic because it lets you fly into their face from a longer range, actually
  16. See ya tomorrow.
  17. Please don't remind me about that unfinished mod somewhere on my machine trying to squeeze my character into Sentinels, thanks.
  18. I will KB 100,000,000,000 foes through the walls before I pay a tax for a enhancement that does not boost a stat If God asks me to sacrifice power for function then I will simply face God and walk backwards into Hell
  19. 1. Knockback is a useful tool for enemy rearrangement and doesn't have to be a suboptimal strategy 2. No one will ever learn 1 because KB-to-KD is completely engrained in the player base 3. To the point where the playerbase doesn't recognize the difference between a repel effect and a KB effect 4. With no hope of the crutches ever coming off, the player base will never learn to utilize this effect 5. Chance for KB in an AoE sucks
  20. Far be it from me to cause another accidental derailment from the subject of accessibility, flavor, and appearance, but... ...thankfully the kheldian powers come pre-tuned to be pool powers.
