  1. Not quite. Heroics are scaled up to level cap, then scaled a bit further beyond that under the assumption that anyone trying to run one has already done the level-cap dungeons and geared up from them. They're more akin to team-sized Incarnate stuff - like the Apex TF that debuffs you if you don't have an alpha power equipped.
  2. You forgot that the windup is so slow it'll never go off before your team erases the entire pack. Never.
  3. Task Forces in general should aim to stay in one zone as much as possible. Send people to a transit door if the fluff calls for bouncing all over the city.
  4. Gaming is about fun. Working your ass off to barely progress at all is mutually exclusive with fun.
  5. I'd say "fire whoever thought using enemy AI as a template for ally AI was a good plan", but that kinda happened already.
  6. Annoying? CC spam, untouchability, End drain - basically anything that says "you don't get to play right now". If I wanted to put up with my actions just not meaning anything, I'd do double shifts at work thank you very much.

  8. This. I just watched Steam throw away a perfectly good UI and replace it with the bastard lovechild of Facebook and Netflix after it got beat with the ugly stick. My bar for acceptable interface designs is now at an all time low. And let's be honest, the costume creator UI was never at any point in this game's life a shining example of elegance. Adding some extra sub-menus is a lateral move.
  9. I'm pretty sure that flavor text predates 8th Ed. But it's entirely possible neither writer saw the other's work, and they came up with the line independent of each other.

  16. Not all of them. And not all the ones that are duplicates work the same.
  17. Those are the same two lists, just in a different order. Healing buffs are listed as Heal/Absorb because they tweaked healing sets to also affect the Absorb mechanic.
  18. For PBs and ranged WS powers yeah, but warshades have no melee attacks outside Dwarf form. Well, they have a useless melee-ranged hold, but that only counts under Jack Emmert rules.

  20. IME, the Banners regen way too fast to take them all down simultaneously unless you have a huge group - which you almost never will. The guide is full of it.
  21. I hear lots about /Radiation on controllers, but pretty much all of it seems to be about pairing it with Illusion Control. Played it before, don't really feel like leveling another Ill/Rad. But I do like /Rad. Kinda drawing a blank on a primary to go with it. So what goes well with /Rad, besides Ill/? Any shenanigans to be had? (Shenanigan Control should totally be a thing.)
