I feel like Shield would be a good contender. Its mez protection is also a clicky, but it has things that SR doesn’t which I think would help. Namely resistance that is always there. SR has to take some serious damage before its resistances kick in, but shield has a good amount of resistance to everything but psi (and maybe toxic?). With a shield build you could also focus on building extra resistance and not worry about building for defense with Fortitude capping you off. Alternately, if you went Ageless Radial instead of Core, you could lean on that for DDR and do something like Electric Armor. With Electric Armor you can get hard capped resistance to all but toxic and build yourself just enough positional defense that Fortitude will put you at the soft cap. Ageless Radial then provides the DDR to make sure that defense isn’t all for naught.

They had increased radii at some point on open beta and was specifically changed because people said “this formula nets us less damage per target and doesn’t do a whole lot it increase targets hit” and brought the numbers to prove it. -
Does Spring Attack need to be slotted for Accuracy?

This is the same accuracy as most standard attacks, so against even cons with no defense buffs or debuffs in play, 75% chance. -
I can’t fathom spending that kind of inf… I don’t even have anywhere near that amount across all 260 characters combined. hell, I really want a mini-mode for a new alt idea I have, currently sitting on ~50 aethers and wondering how I’m going to get the next 200… I know! I’m having flashbacks to high school calculus with that gif. I can verify it is not mag 100 because I remember looking at it in game, I don’t remember what it actually is though and CoD shows it as mag -1.0 knockback for scrappers. However, what I can’t verify is that it used to be mag 100

Ah, but see, that’s not right in this case. it went from scale 20 to scale 8. If it was a magnitude thing, that 60% reduction would put seeds at less than Mag 2, meaning it would only affect minions. And that is not the case. someone in Repeat Offenders asked one of the devs to clarify what scale meant in this case and the answer was duration.

Probably most people, TBH. When I saw the Seeds scale change, I knew that scale affected damage and armor stats, but I didn’t know how it applied to controls.

Not entirely true. If an AoE had previously had its radius increased by Gauntlet, the radius increase is now inherent to the power itself, which caused recalculations on the damage that AoE does. so like Footstomp was unaffected because it was already a 15’ AoE, but Whirling Sword had its damage decreased.

And you have to either keep track of consumer psyche or cast it every time it’s up to keep the stacks There are no major upcoming changes, the nerfs you’ve been hearing about have been live for a week. Also, the nerfs did not affect single target powers, only AoEs. it was a substantial change, yes, but they were not world ending like many of the doom-sayers are claiming.

In my testing on Beta, my conclusion was that Psi armor is “Fine” it’s not great, but it’s not bad either. I found it to be comparable to Willpower in terms of survivability with just SOs. The biggest difference is WP is not at all clicky and Psi is pretty darn clicky. Invul is good, but since @Ultimo doesn’t use IOs, I’d say SR is probably better since you can easily get soft capped defense with just SOs, throw in Sorcery for Rune and you’re golden.

except here’s the thing. Any AT with an armor set can easily get to 50 on SOs/common IOs without dying. It’s not hard, it just takes longer because you don’t push yourself. You keep the difficulty low and cruise up in levels. and honestly, there would be no bragging rights because a “Hardcore” character could just be a sitter on a farm from 1-50.

I’m not sure what you mean by Event Horizon… is that like the lightsaber thing? If so, I think the reason it hasn’t been done is there are multiple staff animations that grab fairly close to the end, so an energy blade with that animation wouldn’t make much sense. -
You could also do it with macros. /macro Fly “cc 0$$powexec_toggleon Fly” /macro FlyOff “cc 1$$powexec_toggleoff Fly” assuming your first costume has wings and your second does not. You may have to click the macro twice for both effects to work.

My understanding is it’s based on the base recharge + any enhancements. so regardless of if you hit 1 or 16 targets, you’ll have the same low proc chance.

I don’t think it’s specifically defined anywhere. The reason the devs use scale instead of flat numbers is that Scale remains the same across ATs, while the actual numbers vary depending on AT scalers. That would be a 60% reduction, not a 40% reduction (it’s 40% of 20)

There only issue I see is that some people wouldn’t want to list the ST set bonus in the power. basically, it would force people to take Thunder kick if they wanted the ST set. my understanding is that’s not a very good power.
