  1. You likely have combat mode flagged in Mids. Infiltration loses 100% of its benefits while in combat. Additionally, I believe that Athletic Run and Infiltration don't stack, in game will only take Infiltration into consideration as it has higher stats than Athletic Run. For "maxing out" stuff when using Infiltration, I usually 3 slot it with either Blessing of the Zephyr (if I need KB protection) or Winter's Gift (if I don't). It doesn't ED max anything, but both sets improve both the run and jump aspects of Infiltration, so you get more bang for your buck. If you happen to have enough slots lying around, 3 slot one of the above sets, 1 slot the movement speed IO from the other set (50+5 if you really want to max stuff) then use the +jump unique and the +run unique as those are separate from ED. I don't think its worth 6 slotting infiltration though.
  2. I play my TA/A defender a lot more than I play my A/TA corruptor (both level 50). My defender has very little difficulty soloing on, what I consider to be, reasonable difficulty (I think I usually solo at +1x3 or x4). The corruptor will solo fine and bring more than just damage to any team you're on.
  3. I agree that the power is quite weak, but since Nature as a whole is a very powerful set, I disagree that any power in the set needs a buff.
  4. Reverberant and the confuse can be slotted for damage, but its not going to be as damaging as a fire/rad. You can also utilize Arcane Bolt, it benefits from containment for 2x damage and when it is in its crit mode does 3x damage with containment. Time doesn't do anything to boost your own damage.
  5. I've got a water/dark sentinel vampire, thematically works well.
  6. This is only partially true. Only named bosses will spawn as bosses, there won't be bosses interspersed in regular mobs unless solo bosses is turned on.
  7. It has a chance to proc per enemy, so its not all-or-nothing. Additionally, placate doesn't wake sleep. I think the proc would work best in a sleep that aggros mobs, like flash freeze or salt crystals, and less useful in ones that don't, like Mass Hypnosis.
  8. I've got a mind/storm chaos controller named Uncle Sheo
  9. He was also incredibly weak, suffering from damaged lungs due to mustard gas exposure.
  10. Technically the proc only works for the power you put it in. To me, in practice, really only Assault Bot needs the proc
  11. @ArgentaeArgentae FYI: Glittering Column requires a to hit check, so you might consider putting a 50+5 Acc/to hit debuff in there.
  12. You make the assumption that people only play end game where perma Dom is possible.
  13. Alternately if you didn't have to wait for the sync (like red side) this would help ease the problem.
  14. I want to point out that once placed, slots "forget" what level you placed them at. So in your example, even at a 15 maximum, a player could train to 21 and still get the slot bonus.
  15. How do you know the mob is going for a lower aggro target if you acknowledge that the scrapper doesn't have a taunt aura? To my knowledge, a scrapper without confront or a taunt aura does not create more aggro than a corruptor.
  16. I wouldn't be against that. You could always pseudo implement this with a macro now using Powexec_location 0:5 Barrier Reef
  17. Oh, one other thing about barrier reef... Some people use it as a Shifting Tides anchor while solo.
  18. You can't balance a single power in a set with a single power in a different set. On top of that, for barrier reef, if it were to be turned into a toggle it would 1. Cost more endurance per second than it does now (in your example, over 240 seconds shadow fall costs 124.8 end while barrier reef costs 13.52) 2. Suppress when mezzed
  19. Caltrops won't happen since Defenders got it in traps, blasters/Corruptors can get it in their secondary, and Sentinels can get it in their APP
  20. Not going to lie, when I read the subject my initial thought was "throwing swords" which sounded dumb. I'd love to see a thrown weapon set, shrunken, throwing knives, etc. There's already 5 powers in the dominator set (if you include envenomed blades). Might be cool if the nuke was a cone when you throw several of your weapon. I'm not sure what to include in the remaining 3 powers though.
  21. Are you saying they shouldn't have access to the scanner? If so, the only missions they'd have access to blue side would be tips and they'd have to resort to street sweeping to get them. No thanks.
  22. I'd post my Ice/Spines but it's horribly outdated because I almost never play him (I just have too many alts). Great combo though.
  23. Are we back to this? Originally procs had a set percent chance of going off (ie: 30%) regardless of what power it was slotted in. This made proccing out powers with low base recharges way more powerful than proccing out powers with high base recharge. Basically, if you've got a 30% chance to fire a 1 second recharge is way more beneficial than a 20 second recharge. That was changed to the current PPM calculation. PPM sets a proc's chance to fire based on how often you can use the power. So a 3.5 PPM proc in a 1 second recharge power will proc about as often as a the same proc in a power with a 20 second recharge, assuming that both powers are activated every time they recharge. PPM does use a % chance to proc, but that % chance is variable depending on characteristics of the power it is slotted in. Before it was just a flat % regardless.
