  1. I've wondered about Acid Arrow... do you need to fire it before Flash Arrow for the -res to take effect, or if you go Flash->Acid will the debuff still be stronger?
  2. Wild Growth - 90 seconds Overgrowth - 60 seconds
  3. As far as I know, the stealth IO would be superfluous, as anything with enough perception to see through stealth will also see through the IO. Basically, stealth alone now gives what stealth+IO used to give.
  4. Ok, I just copied a character over to the test server to find out exactly how this functioned, it appears the Fortunata keeps it active for about 10-15 seconds then it turns off and you wait for the 15 second recharge before it gets activated again.
  5. Here is a screen shot of the Pet Info for the Arachnos Fortunata Lore pet
  6. Stealth grants you enough +Stealth to not be seen by (most) enemies Infiltration is a Movement power akin to Athletic Run/Ninja Run, however, it also grants some stealth (about half of what Stealth gives) Grant Invisibility is a click power that grants a teammate enough +Stealth to not be seen by (most) enemies.
  7. There is no such thing as Wind Control in Homecoming. Electric control is a bit of a weird thing, as the confuse is a chain, so you have to wait for it to chain across enemies if you want its full effect, which teams won't do. Arctic Air in Ice has a *chance* to confuse, so it's not really something that's all that reliable, and requires you stack other controls on top of it to really get the full effect. It's still a good power though. Mind Control... I love mind control... but Mass Confusion is not up every group... your every group controls are Mass Hypnosis (mostly useless in groups) and Terrify. In most of my mind experience I switch between Total Domination and Mass Confusion and then if the group is really running fast, Terrify as my 3rd group power giving the other two time to recharge.
  8. Looking at the Fortunata pet in game, it says it has Mind Link as a toggle with a 15 second recharge. Does the pet keep Mind Link on most of the time or does it toggle it off and on again regularly?
  9. Plant probably comes out on top mainly due to the Recharge to Duration and lack of an accuracy penalty. Mind is my favorite because it does not notify enemies, meaning you can cast it aggro free.

    Collosus?

Your name becomes "Generic123456" or rather a random number, and your costume gets set to the basic cleared. I'm not sure if there is a penalty for multiple generics.
  11. Stealth provides the amount of +stealth needed to be invisible to anything that doesn't have a perception bonus now. I don't quite understand your issue.
  12. While I'm not necessarily against the idea, considering you can only have 1 patron pool, I don't see why it really matters.

    Collosus?

Just remember that you can be influenced by a comic book hero, but if it's too close, you could get Generic'd
  14. I'm sure I'm missing lots, but https://hcwiki.cityofheroes.dev/wiki/Tielekku

    Elec/stone

I literally just rolled one of these last night... On Live I had a Stone/ELA Brute though and he was fairly solid. I re-rolled as a tank last night because I wanted to try Elec armor on tanks and the numbers look pretty good, you can cap resist to everything but Toxic and Negative energy with the right build, so it should be pretty unstoppable in most content.
  16. I haven't played EM on a stalker, but here's the way it works on Tanks: Total Focus stores up a charge, this can be released using Barrage: gives a 100% chance to stun (mag 3 I think) and gives the attack -100% regen Energy Transfer: decreases the activation time significantly (I don't know the exact number).
  17. I've got an Ice/Spines and a Bio/Spines both incarnated... they aggro about equally and survive about equally. TBH, I haven't found a tank combo yet that really struggles too much with Aggro and/or survivability, though I'm always up for a challenge if someone says "this combo is garbage!"
  18. Yes, if a hero wants patron pools, they have to turn villain, run the arc (or at least the last mission of the arc) then go back hero... they can keep those powers. Here's my SD/Rad build, he's only 31, but doesn't have any end issues since slotting Panacea/Miracle Hero Plan by Mids' Reborn : Hero Designer 2.7.2.10 https://github.com/Crytilis/mids-reborn-hero-designer Click this DataLink to open the build! 19. In addition to taunt, might I suggest a Bio/Spines tank? You get 3 taunt auras with that. As for gauntlet, yes, every ST attack taunts 5 enemies.
  20. I remember back in the day the TV show "Big Bang Theory" had a comic book shop where there was a CoH cardboard cutout display.
  21. Most of the damage in 801s is S/L/E. Why do you do it? I dunno, @Linea puts it out there that it's hard content.
  22. In the current meta, surviving alpha strikes is about the only thing a tank needs to do in *most* content, most things die so quickly that grabbing aggro after the fact is not particularly important, because things just don't last that long. Linea has made a lot of valid points in both the "which tank should I choose" and the "most things can tank (using the above criteria)" worlds. I'll 2nd invul as it is really only 2nd to Granite in terms of surviving non-psi damage, but it comes without the penalties that Granite has. If you're concerned about Psi damage, then Rad or Shield are good ways to go (Probably rad over shield since there is a fair amount of non-positional Psi damage in this game). The OP specifically said "top-tier" builds, meaning he's willing to invest inf into it. That means that any advice that Linea's given in specific regards to tanks is valid. If you want a top-tier build, you're not going to be running SOs.
  23. Poison and Time are great sets, but neither puts out nearly as much -regen as Rad or Dark, or even Cold, which if the OP wants to solo AVs, is really necessary (note: I haven't tried soloing AVs on Poison/Time defenders). Another good choice would be Traps stacked acid mortars put out tons of -resist while poison trap floors regen.
